81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Not Be a Medium of Exchange on: December 02, 2019, 01:18:50 AM
How about eth and xrp? Somehow thesee two are primary contender for the btc. Well the marketcap seems to be not marching towards btc but when it comes to different aspect I think technically these two are way better than btc. I'm not saying they can overwhelm btc price that much but the tech itself are proven useful. Especially eth network.

This is seriously really strange thread, xrp better then btc? In what way? They can close xrp if they want, it has nothing on bitcoin. Bitcoin doesn't need permissions and it can't be shut down.

It's clear that Bitcoin is better than XRP if we know the fact that XRP's founder holds more supply. Bitcoin has been trusted and recognized by many as digital assets and this is clearly different from what happened in XRP
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to zero? This guy is dreaming! on: December 02, 2019, 01:10:05 AM
Skeptics will always be everywhere and can happen to anyone. But in this case, this skepticism is in my opinion unreasonable because ethereum is a platform that can be used for any type of model and I think ethereum has the potential to rise again
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who is into neo and why? or why not? on: December 02, 2019, 01:06:21 AM
Im curious what other people think about the project neo.

Next year will be booming i reckon for neo 3.0 on the other hand china news :S

I am long term holder of neo and like the project.. there not very into marketing like justin for example.. but my own opinion is... that there one of the top project out there..

What's your POV?

In the midst of the current weakening of the cryptocurrency market, it must be acknowledged that NEO prices are depressed. Although it is recognized that NEO is a coin that should be able to compete with ethereum, but in my opinion the marketing needs to be expanded
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You think that governments might adopt cryptocurrencies to replace fiat currency on: December 02, 2019, 01:03:07 AM
Currently, in this day and age, all governments around the world have adopted fiat currencies as a means for its citizens to trade with one another and to trade with other nations around the world. However, would it be possible for in the future for governments around the world to create a cryptocurrency as a means of trade to replace fiat currency?

I can see that fiat currency has many flaws as all types of currencies before it, but with the new “government cryptocurrency” would it be able to solve the problems that fiat currency has and make a better economy? I’m not really sure myself as I can’t really predict the future.

Considering that fiat currency replaced all the previous currencies before it, would cryptocurrency replace fiat currency in the future?

Even if the Government replaces fiat money with cryptocurrency, certainly it will not be decentralized but will still be controlled by the Government. There are many challenges if the government replaces fiat money with cryptocurrency and one of them is the uneven internet access in various regions
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JuSt a wish on: November 27, 2019, 01:30:29 AM
This is just if, new projects are finding it hard to list on top exchanges because of listing funds but since market is not in a good season why is top exchange listing fee still that high? Top exchanges are not making it easy for new projects to list on their exchanges or am i missing some good information?

And about binance IEO is there anyone on here who can tell me more about them? i mean if a project like eminer can conduct IEO on binance why can't others? is there some kind of agreement like taking IEO fundraising fee after IEO is successful?

Damn i wish new projects can just have their chances as well, now that bitcoin is losing its value things are getting more harder for new projects

Large exchangers do impose large listing fees because they have advantages in large transaction volumes. With a large listing fee, this will minimize new projects coming in and only established projects can register. But some large exchangers sometimes impose free listing fees if the coins or tokens have good prospects and a large community
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose DEX? How to avoid scam? on: November 27, 2019, 01:27:12 AM
Choose the Dex exchange that many people already use. Don't try the new Dex exchange, because this is very sensitive in crypto. So far I only use dex exchanges like Idex and BinanceDex. Because they have been trusted by many people.

Agree, it is too risky to use a DEX exchanger that is relatively new because it concerns the security of the wallet we have. For some people, transactions in centralized exchangers are more convenient because of the fast execution and as long as we don't keep our coins and tokens in the wallet exchanger, I think it will remain safe
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Not Be a Medium of Exchange on: November 27, 2019, 01:23:10 AM
Bitcoin is like gold in crypto sphere. It won't be like dollar, and that's quite obvious. There are already some stable coins which play this role - Tether USD for example.

To become a medium of exchange like fiat money, government approval is needed and a central bank is needed and I don't think this will ever happen. As long as peer to peer transactions can still be done, Bitcoin might become a medium of exchange but it is very limited in its use and I think it will be better if Bitcoin is made a digital asset so everyone can access it
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you have done? on: November 27, 2019, 01:20:04 AM
If time allows me to go back in 2017 with prior knowledge of the bull run, I would sell all my holdings as soon as the bull run starts without holding coins for any lust. I will also invest more in ICOs as ICOs gave a massive return to investors in 2017. But I know that wont be possible at all. Life give you very few chances.

That's right, sell all tokens and coins at the highest price and exchange them for fiat money. Bitcoin repurchase position at a price of $ 3,500 around 2018 and of course we will get a big profit. But unfortunately there is no time machine that can take us back to 2017 so we better focus on 2020 coming soon
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is going to be slower ? on: November 26, 2019, 07:51:49 AM
Recently, I noticed that all the platforms are just like pausing launching new IEOs, If you notice top IEOs launcher platforms like Binance, Okex,Kucoin or Huobi, you will see a gap between 1-1.5 months. ICOs, then IEOs, then What next?

Large exchangers such as Binance, Okex or others will certainly not carelessly choose new projects for sale on their platforms. The process of selecting a new project certainly takes time and this is related to the exchanger's reputation in organizing IEO.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO investors are more excited on exchanges than product developments? on: November 26, 2019, 07:48:30 AM
Investors who want to invest in the long term in my opinion are very few, generally prefer the short term. Waiting for new projects to produce good products sometimes takes years and for some investors are impatient and prefer to sell when there is a chance to profit
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need suggest invest in small amount on: November 26, 2019, 07:44:43 AM
I can advise you to invest in any IEO on gate exchange if you can meet the requirements for participating in it. Most IEO on gate exchange always at least x5 but the main problem is that the requirement for participating in them is somehow hard.

Gate.io is indeed one of the exchangers who is always successful in organizing IEO. Demand from investors always exceeds the target and sometimes because the token limit is sold quite a bit, investors only get a small allocation. Investing in IEO is good as long as IEO is a great exchanger whereas if we want to invest in established coins, in my opinion the top 10 coin marketcap is a good choice
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listed exchange matters on: November 26, 2019, 07:41:24 AM
For every bounty hunters who are tired of new bounty projects that ends up been a total garbage after they are listed on exchange pls do find yourself some time and do research on past bounty projects because the Exchange they used for IEO matters alot, that exchange is where they will list after bounty ends, i haven't seen a bounty project that get listed on Kucoin and Gate that is not profitable, in terms of good volume or even 2x+

I have learnt a lesson here again, have you? top exchange matters especially in this bear market, look at all the bounties listed on p2pb2b, exmarket etc  Cheesy

Most bounty campaigns do IEO in small exchangers and usually the funds are not as expected. The exchanger where the IEO is held does affect the sales of tokens and also the price after the initial listing. Small exchangers tend to have small transaction volumes so they cannot push up prices
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Mobile Mining exists at all? on: November 25, 2019, 06:48:04 AM
Mining through mobile phones is just a waste of time and money.
Just imagine how much would it cost for one mobile phone and you would just use it to mine a cheap alt-coin that could also destroy your phone.
It isn't worth it I think even if you would mine daily you wouldn't be able to save money to buy a new phone before your mining phone get's destroyed.

Agree with this opinion, although at this time the phone can be used for mining coins, I think it will not be profitable because in addition to the risk of damage to our gadgets, the coins we get are not many. Currently, there are many telephone companies that offer a variety of features, but you should still use the phone according to its function
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Liquidity rating makes lotta sense on: November 25, 2019, 06:44:47 AM
Thanks to coinmarketcap for taking the huge step of rating crypto exchanges based on liquidity, now atleast i will some developers will start picking exchanges to list their token based on liquidity ratings, if you check the link down below

https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/liquidity/?utm_source=coinmarketcap&utm_content=alert

You will see that exchanges like idax, p2pb2b and bitforex are way down on the ranking list compare to when exchanges are been rated with volumes, well exchanges with fake volumes can't have liquidity because they aren't real, now its left for developers, project teams to be smart

By knowing the real liquidity, we will know which exchangers are good for trading. Many people think some exchangers have large transaction volumes but they use bots. This can be used for price manipulation and I think by knowing the real liquidity, investors will be more confident in their investment
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think crypto world needs... on: November 25, 2019, 06:39:43 AM
The crypto world today requires projects that are real and truly done for professionals. At present many projects are carried out only to enrich project owners with a variety of speculations and many scammers who take advantage of the current crypto situation.

The need for adequate education for beginners will help fight fake projects that continue to emerge. If a fake project managed by a scammer can be overcome, many projects will be trusted by investors and many will succeed.

Agree, in the midst of many scam projects, projects that have good products and have good partnership with large companies can restore investor confidence that the cryptocurrency market is not a scam place. Had the government issued regulations on the cryptocurrency market, I think scammers would be increasingly reduced and new investors would arrive
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in multiple altcoins on: November 25, 2019, 06:35:50 AM
I suggest you invest in Altcoins in top 10 of coinmarketcap volumes such as ETH, BCH, BNB, Cardano, XLM, XRP, EOS, BSV, and don't forget to look at coinmarketcap every day.

It is more convenient to invest in the top 10 coinmarketcaps because in addition to trading in large exchangers and having large liquidity, coins that are usually in the top 10 coinmarketcap have projects that are trusted by investors will be able to make a profit.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 reasons to start playing blockchain games on: November 20, 2019, 05:08:27 AM
Gaming attracts a lot of interest from the developer team but so far I don't think it works. Maybe because the game blockchain is not too popular among gamers. I think it's good if we get rewards from the games we play and this is an incentive to make the game more popular to use
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Simple idea on: November 20, 2019, 05:04:48 AM
Hi fellas, i want to drop this info mainly for newbies on this forum that just start getting familiar with crypto wallets, i was waiting for some tokens to get delivered into my coinomi wallet since a month ago but they never appeared but the projects teams claim its been sent but guess what? i decided to track my address last night using Etherscan and i saw all the tokens there, sometimes your tokens might have arrived in your wallet but you won't know until you track your wallet address or you manually add token contract address, thank you.

A new token in a mobile wallet requires a smart contract if the token is ERC20. I think when we are going to use a mobile wallet, we should try all the features that are in it so that we do not get the wrong perception. Mobile wallet is very good because we can monitor the value of our portfolio in real time
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No good projects from a long time on: November 20, 2019, 05:01:08 AM
There had come many ICOs in 2017 and a good number of STOs in 2018 and many IEOs in 2019 but hardly a few have made it to 'relatively better than others' list.
I wonder why haven't there come potential coins like ether. The only project that looked promising to me this year was bittorrent which was lauched on binance launchpad.
But even that is not going so well these days.

Is the world out of ideas or solutions?

In my opinion there are some good projects but because of the many investors who are traumatized by ICO or IEO, making good new projects is ignored. Many IEO investors are complaining because after listing the price falls below the IEO price and this may make the new tokens sales market hampered.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges Tokens on: November 20, 2019, 04:57:03 AM
They mainly focus with their exchange so that's why they can't promote the usage of their token outside its premises. But I've seen one successful exchange token that's also being asked by people when it comes to payment.

And that successful token I'm talking about is none other than, BNB. It would be hard for other exchanges token to have the same success as BNB has.

It's not possible that other exchange could be successful as binance but accept it, the standard for a good exchange already been hold by BNB. Yes, it will be hard to overtake them but successfully to be like them isn't possible. If you know Bitmax there is traction having there and becoming famous for some traders, also the CITEX which use some new features for staking coins and POW coins.

For now, it is difficult to replace Binance as an exchanger that is in demand by many people. BNB Coin as a native token becomes a coin with the largest market cap value because IEO organized by Binance has always been the target of investors. In addition, innovations in DEX make many projects join their blockchain so that BNB Coin transactions will continue to grow
