Also, if you guys have any feedback, please don't hold back! We also plan to us this as a support thread in case you guys have any issues with your orders  Grin

Now that we're launched, Gordon (our designer) is pumped to get back to creating fresh designs.

Oh Yeah, we're also planning on launching an affiliate program soon (still need to do a little more research first). But, if you're interested, don't hesitate to give us a shout  Wink You can reach us in this thread, on facebook/twitter or through our Contact page on the site: http://procrypto.net/contact/

Hi Bitcointalkers,

A while back, my friend and I began work on a clothing project to increase everyday visibility for Bitcoin. Take a look!

By offering our community clothes with thoughtful and good looking designs themed around Bitcoin, we can make it more visible to those who aren’t well acquainted with it and carry around with us the perfect conversation starter.

For the moment, we only have t-shirts, but we’re working to get our current designs (and eventually new ones) onto hoodies and long-sleeve tees and more. We'll also be offering women's sizes once we've had a chance to test some samples.

Check out our currently available designs below, or see our full catalog of colours at http://procrypto.net/.

Also, go ahead and like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to get all the latest news on our offers.

As far as getting people involved in it, I haven't had much success. They don't see it having any direct use for them on a short term basis. Also, even if I show them how simple it is to get some, they see it as an extra hassle just to buy things they can find much more easily elsewhere (e.g. having to by gift certificates on https://www.gyft.com/ before buying elsewhere). It's an extra step they prefer to skip.

What I'm currently trying is to increase visibility indirectly and make Bitcoin seem like a normal accepted idea before any conversation about it has occurred. For example, my buddy makes good looking designs themed around Bitcoin for t-shirts and we're hoping that just wearing them (us looking like normal guys and not anonymous online human traffickers) will make the notion of digital currency seep into people's minds as part of everyday life, even if they themselves don't use it yet.

Also, I just got http://theageofcryptocurrency.com/ and I try to have it in my hands or close to me as much as possible even when not reading just so people I'm with will notice it.

These actions might seem small, but many people have less than positive preconceptions about Bitcoin, and seeing it accepted by those around them will help to open them up to it.

Thanks for the replies guys. I kind of figured it was one of those uncomfortable necessities you have to accept as part if the process. And yeah, I always hurried to get my money out of there.

I don't suppose there are any real-world banks/institutions that allow you to do a direct transfer from bank account/cash to wallet and vice versa? Or like an ATM?

Howdy,
I've been using one for a couple months now and it's given no reason to mistrust it. But it seems weird to me sending my money to an intermediary that's neither a wallet nor a bank and is entirely online. Feels like the money is hanging out in some nowhere zone that isn't completely under my control...

Dies any one else feel this way or do I just not understand this stuff well enough yet?

Thanks!

I get the feeling that technologies like the internet have just shed light on the way people were already acting, as opposed to them influencing people to act trashier. What media technologies may have done though is influence people to do the same trashy things instead of their own different ones (e.g. little girls twerking).

Word on the net is he is a self-aware digital construct. He was spontaneously generated when 21 million people simultaneously banged on their keyboards in anger after having been on the phone with their credit card companies.
