To clatify it is a batch one pre order.
It will arrive 3-4 weeks before the second batch.

83  Economy / Auctions / KNCMINER Neptune preorder on: December 07, 2013, 09:26:15 AM
Hi!
I am interested in selling two of my five preordered Neptunes.
The orders are paid for and confirmed.
The order number is #11090
I can either send them to you when they arrive or I can arrange so that you can host them in a datacenter with mine (currently hosting 5 Jupiters for different people, works fine).
I live in Central Stockholm and I will be going to KncMiners office to pick them up once they are ready.

I keep the right to not sell any of the miners if I don't like the price and I keep the right to sell more than two if I do.

Is there any development here?
If there's no payout/solution I would like for FriedCat to buy back the shares if possible.

86  Economy / Marketplace / Re: IL Licensed Chicago Property Owner Wants To Sell Gold Coast Condo W/ Lake Views on: November 27, 2013, 06:53:19 PM
Hi, I'm a licensed broker in the state of Illinois and wish to sell my Condo. No fraud, no bogus. We would meet in person, hire the right attorneys, title agency representatives, and would have a formal legally-backed closing. I know some of you are sitting on a bunch of coins that you paid very little for, so not a bad time to offload some on a more stable investment especially at such a price. Here are some comparable properties:

http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/111-W-Maple-St-APT-2603-Chicago-IL-60610/54536230_zpid/

This is in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago, one of the, if not the most affluent neighborhoods in Chicago with stable real estate growth. When the housing crisis hit, properties in Gold Coast managed to retain values pretty well. Looking to get $385k, 2 bed, 2 bath, includes garage parking spot, + 30% BTC exchange rate risk, so that's around $520k worth in bitcoins. The value of this property has risen, a year ago from about $315k, to $385k, and it continues to rise. So in a few years, this property will very well may worth even more. There is still mortgage on the property, valued at around $250k, so we would have to go through a escrow/title/3rd party consultant (such as BitPay) at closing to pay off the debt owed to the lender, and then the remainder to me, of which the title would be transferred.

Main reason I'm selling it is because I want to get away from all forms of USD-based debt. I would like to invest in another property, this time without USD-debt financing.
You could use Bitpay to invoice the buyer, then you wouldn't have to take any exchange risk Smiley

The Great Bitfinex Game!

1) Bitfinex will pay a bounty of 1 BTC for anybody that comes out with an idea that actually makes sense in order to improve our liquidity on Bitstamp
2) Anybody that will post an idea that is flawed, doesn't make sense, will never work for the reasons I will be honored to explain or just say things like " why don't you transfer to Bitstamp more money if 2 millions a day is not enough" will have to pay 1 BTC cent to the address:
1J14J1ZR11CsFKXyhneXpfVBp34ovQuh7C

All the coins collected by this game will be donated to www.seansoutpost.com , a homeless outreach in Florida accepting bitcoins.

Here's an actual suggestion Smiley
You could theoretically use Ripple as a way to provide liquidity on Bitstamp.
By purchasing BitstampUSD with Bitcoins or other means and then depositing these into your account.
At the moment it is not possible in large scale, but it could be worth looking into.
Just a suggestion.

Ps. Not sure if the actual liquidity it would provide is so low that it is not worth the effort but it could be worth looking into.

I recommend safello.com
I can personally vouche for them.
(please note that I am biased due to involvement in Safello Tongue)

Nice website and reasonable price.

I thought so as well but it seems the rate isnt adjusted very often, its advertised at 446eur whilst the other major exchanges have it way lower now.
We are currently working on this, it is a known bug. When Bitstamp goes down or the API stops working the ticker stops updating.

Does anyone know who is responsible for the PT's at the moment? Is it DeaDTerra or Ukyo?

WeEx does not process withdrawals at the moment (or at all). So it makes no sense to pay divs through BF, cause you won't get the coins out of BF / WeEx.
I don't have any control over the PT anymore.
I can't access the shares or the dividend.
//DeaDTerra
Who has control? Is it Ukyo?
Yes

Any news about whats going to happen with the bitfunder shutdown

Yes. We met today to discuss it. The general consensus is that we'll stick to the original plan, expanding it to everyone now.

Hi All
As it looks now this is our plan:
Everyone will be able to trade until the 1st of November, at this time anyone who has not been verified or are US citizens will not be able to trade the shares on BitFunder. We will be able keep paying dividends on BitFunder up until the 1st of December. At that point we will receive a list of all non-verified users/ US citizen accounts (the address and amount of shares). We will take this list and convert it (destroy at BitFunder and maintain a list internally) into offline shares. We’ll call them “direct shares” and pay dividends to the bitcoin address we’ll be given by BitFunder.

To this end, please ensure you are in direct control of the bitcoin address we’ll be receiving from BitFunder on 2 December. If you cannot sign a message with the address then you are not in direct control of it. For example, a deposit address at an exchange is NOT under your direct control. This is to ensure future tradability of the shares. If you cannot prove you own an address then it will remain untradable indefinitely.

Just to be clear: the solution to making these shares tradable is not technical, it’s legal. We’ll be exploring several different options hard to allow these direct shares to float once again.
//DeaDTerra

Same plan for everyone now? ...... now ButtFinder can't, with both hands... or something.
Both me and Will are traveling right now. So we might be a bit slow at answering and giving announcements, sorry about this.

What we plan to do short term is when BitFunder shuts down we convert all shares into direct shares, which will be non transferable to start with.
Then we will either relist (on a exchange we find suitable for us and will be reliable long term), or we will start working on a way to automate transfers of shares between owners. As shown by AsicMiner to do manual transfers of shares between owners is not reliable and causes errors, hence we would like to avoid that.
Does this answer your question?

A update from both and Willem, will come shortly.
I am meeting with the manager of the Datacenter today, to have a look at the space where we will be hosting the devices.
I will upload some pictures and some more details regarding those aspects.

Is there any place to park the car nearby?

Yes, but not cheaply Smiley
There is a parking garage right across the street, I think that is 80 SEK/hour, or you can find a spot on a nearby street, which I think is about 15-20 SEK/hour.

Thanks!

I will visit you next monday. Would be cool if DeadTerra also joins up by then.
Currently in Canada ^^
So that will be hard Tongue

//DeaDTerra
