We've been hard at work developing digital geocaching technology and have had a lot of fun alpha testing it. I'm excited to announce we will be opening our HTML5 GeoCashing Wallet to the public for beta use on April 7th, 2015. Simply sign up and you can start GeoCashing right away. Using your smart phone or other GPS enabled device, track down the GeoGoins on the map. When you get close to a GeoCoin, it will be credited to your account. You can also drag and drop GeoCoins on the map for others to find! There will be a limited number of beta signups. The announcement will be made on this thread.

Good question. As long as your device has an onboard GPS unit, the app can access your coordinates even when you are offline. When you come back into internet range, there is a history of where you have been & you will receive the geocoins. You can give Mt Everest a shot but you'll probably need lots of batteries to get you to the top while tracking your position

You can see GeoCoins on street view too. Drag them around and save their location for other people to find.

As I have said from the very beginning, I have a long term vision for GEO. There is no reason to assume I'm gone. I haven't been active sine Feb. 26th (yes that is only 5 days) because I am working away on the geocaching. I am fully focused on preventing location spoofing right now. Big updates are on their way, please be patient. If you are serious about our long term vision for GEO, send a message to one of us with your email and we can add you to the slack group.

Thanks for all the support. The Qubit algorithm has been a big success for many miners allowing great distribution for everybody. Support for GEO is gaining tons of momentum.

As a way to show you guys the geocaching code is real and under development, here a little video geodropping some coins all over the world. No you can't test it yet, yes we are on track to release this in about a month, updates as we get closer to the release.

I've explained our plans in the OP as well as answered questions throughout the thread. We are developing everyday. I hope to have community members help us test the geocaching interface shortly. I really don't want to "hype" something that isn't released yet though. Roughly, within a month it will be beta released to the public. Just watch for now if you need confirmation before investing. If you have any further questions, I'm glad to answer.

I sent the request to Bittrex and they responded saying they are reviewing GeoCoin. Send them some good tweets to let them know we want to trade GEO.

For the geominer, I am leading this development right now. We have a solid plan to make this work. I have a clear flow of what I need to do. As the other guys work on geocaching, I am implementing the geominer which is my main goal, attempting to change the world through better decision making.

I just dropped a geocoin a couple blocks away, then walked over there with my smartphone and got "You found 1 GeoCoin!"

Hard to say but roughly 1 month and beta testing will be open. I will update as we go.
