@inkha - haven't set it up on my new PC yet but will try to find time to do so too! Are you planning to have GP as actual in-game currency, or just something that can be traded for Gold in-game? @Tony128 - I certainly hope so! The potential's always been there.

I'm just going to run with it, there's a few other private servers that have been up for several years that don't seem to be having any issues. It's a way older version of the game so it seems they don't mind, and it gives people a place to play it. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Okay cool - my offer to write quests for it from however long ago it was still stands! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Are you using the same map as I remember from back then?

Inkha that screenshot looks like your old Inkhascape game which used Runescape (2005?) which I thought you had to cancel due to copyright issues for the Runescape software - could you update on the current situation please? Are you using something else that looks the same or is copyright of the game engine no longer an issue?

If anyone plays DKV2 (Valerian Universe), I'm starting to fill up the credits for GP order book (looks like I'm not the only one). I'm only putting on a few million credits at a time but will keep adding more every day. If anyone wants to put a big buy order on at a reasonable price I'll do my best to fill it (can't do too many billion credits in one go though!!). In other news, development of Captain Disaster in Death Has a Million Stomping Boots continues, it's sometimes difficult to show the updates as a lot of it is under the hood tweaking, but we are definitely getting there. I plan to have a second teaser trailer made soon, if you haven'ts seen the first one here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6LfuZr3iHQ

I'm astonished that this is still up and running. Since I had an account a couple of years ago I guess I'll toddle over and see what's happened in the meantime...

Are ports collecting interest automatically again? They seem to be, although not necessarily on the hour - don't remember seeing an update for this so unsure whether this is supposed to be happening. Also, thought it might be worth asking whether adding the ability to Warp straight to your Ports for 100 Credits, like you can with your Planets, could be added?) I know this has already been sent out in the game's internal mail system but for anyone interested in DKV2: Universe, it's predecessor, CryptoDatabase, or designing online games supporting cryptocurrency in general, he's done a great article for my blog, which you can find HERE. (It's quite a long read but definitely worth it!)

@gildinglite - definitely, we need some buy pressure. Although perhaps it's also a sign that a lot of people are holding and staking, which is not necessarily a bad thing. @vella85 - absolutely agree, we need some more input from the dev to keep things moving (though it's nice to see this thread keeps being updated even without it). I think there's probably a larger GP community out there waiting for something to happen than we realise. The problem is just that... it's people waiting and little more right now. @CryptoDatabase - thanks for putting up the info site. @SamuelAnh - I'm glad you think this is such an interesting coin, I'd be happy to know the reasons behind your thinking, perhaps it would bring up something the community could use as a platform to build from? @GeyerNguyen - I hope you enjoy my game when it comes out then, it's very retro! (Imagine The Secret of Monkey Island and Space Quest having a baby, and you won't be too far off! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) ) In terms of trying to create some buy pressure, I am going to in the near future put at least a few billion credits up for sale on the GP exchange in CrytpoDatabase's game ( https://dkv2.com/), which hopefully might encourage some people to buy GP for use in the game. (I know it's not much, but at the moment it's all I can do.) As mentioned before I would really like to make my game available to buy with GP in the future, even if it's purely done via PM on BTC. I would prefer if possible though that we could get some kind of online gaming store running that would accept GP, HYPER and 1337. I do not have the necessary skills to do this myself but if anyone who is trustworthy does, I do have quite a number of contacts in the indie gaming community who may potentially also be interested. I realise that setting up such a store would be quite a large project but I'm sure it could be done.

@Ana - can you have a look at the code for Mission #6? (Use Nano Chips in the Valerian Shop located at 0,0)? It doesn't seem to be working properly. Thanks.
I tested it out and it seems to be working for me, you may have to clear your cache. Thanks - just in case anyone else encountered this, it worked okay after I had cleared my cache and used the nanochip shop again.

@kamalsharma100 - I don't know why you're still not managing to get connections. I average 8. Sorry.
Don't know much about "GAME", will check it out. Having an active and visible team has been an issue for many coins sadly including this and (in the past) HYPER. I'm hoping things will improve over time, I've always like GP.

can anyone explain why sometimes on the market trade history there are a lot of transactions processed at exactly the same time (hour, minutes and even seconds). i don't understand why's this happening. is it some kind of a bug? example from today: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimgur.com%2Fa%2FZNf4a&t=663&c=VCSEINm1HHqyNw) I would expect that is because one large buy order was filled with several smaller sell orders, or vice versa.

Don't forget you can hyper jump to it (right-hand side of the Universe screen), you don't need to laboriously travel there - it costs 100 credits (I know that can seem like quite a lot if you've only just started playing, but you'll very quickly build you your planet to the point that 100 credits seems like nothing). already try it .. but .. I am not strong enoguh for the environment ... in 1 attack .. all my drone is gone ... ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) this game remind me freelancer spaceship game ... Ah yes - at first you'll need to just visit your planet to harvest credits / energy - make sure you have enough credits to jump back to somewhere safer straight afterwards.

CD is there any problem with withdrawals atm? I put a request in last night (ID 129) and it's showing on my Wallets page as "Pending", but I haven't had an email requesting confirmation.

Just my opinion but what I think GP needs most - and HYPER, and 1337 - is an online shop that lets you purchase games (and maybe Steam credit) with crypto. I believe both HYPER and 1337 had something of the sort in development at one point, but neither appear to have ever been fully developed. Since they're all gaming currencies the most logical real use for them is to buy games and related products.
I know Inkha had something in the pipeline, hopefully he'll come back with an update soon. In the meantime I'm just holding and staking.

The Valerian Universe has expanded greatly, the Expansion Probes that were sent out have returned with new information that have allowed us to map out new sections.
The probes report that they have explored as far out as 15,000 which brings our total known galaxies to 225,030,001.
Woot! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Hmm... the multiplier out at 15,000 is still only 2.1, had you not intended to increase this in line with the incremental multiplier from 5,000-10,000?

I am having connection problem. Showing 0 connection. Tried placing Goldpieces.conf in %appdata%/roaming/Goldpieces with server=1 daemon=1 listen=1 maxconnections=1024 rpcuser=user rpcpassword=pass rpcport=23461 addnode=176.24.105.181:23462 addnode=176.24.105.181:23462 addnode=84.200.4.67:23462 addnode=59.100.29.2:23462 addnode=142.179.7.102:23462 addnode=173.54.201.49:23462 addnode=98.226.35.5:23462 addnode=149.202.137.169:23462 addnode=71.192.210.155:23462 addnode=73.141.89.114:23462 addnode=72.241.235.204:23462 addnode=100.7.82.219:23462
written inside. I do not know how to solve it. Previously, it was working fine, but after I formatted my pc and reinstalled Windows wallet, it has stopped synching, showing 0 connection.
This looks right. I assume you've left it for a bit - sometimes it takes a little while to find nodes when you first boot the wallet but once it has, it shouldn't let them go. I'm sure a few of us leave our wallets open 24/7 so it should always be possible. I scoured this thread and did come up with another couple of nodes you can try adding: addnode=97.83.98.229:23462 addnode=59.92.102.34:23462 Inkha also did an installation guides - don't know if you've already checked that? (Although it looks like you've done the right things, worth checking in case you missed something.) http://goldpieces.network/install-goldpieces-wallet-windows/Otherwise if you have a Firewall perhaps you need to tweak yours settings? I hope something from the above helps! I'm sure those more technically savvy than myself can help if it doesn't.
