81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MaxoCoin the king of all coin coming on: April 23, 2017, 05:41:30 AM
What does this coin do differently to the hundreds of others already out?

We have a coin with zero transaction fees (IOTA) - what does this one bring to the table?
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SCAT] Scatcoin | Token Launch 2017 on: April 23, 2017, 05:40:09 AM
Taking the term shitcoin to a whole new level!  Grin

I would fire the branding specialist who helped you to come up with the name.
83  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-04-22]Bitcoin Trading at a Near $100 Premium on Bitfinex on: April 23, 2017, 05:38:50 AM
This is like MtGox all over again, though hopefully without the insolvency.

This problem will probably go on for sometime, as I can't see them being able to set up new banking partners quickly.
84  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War with North Korea postponed. on: April 23, 2017, 05:37:42 AM
If a nuclear war starts, you may end up being blown to pieces as well in your cozy house while watching tv and eating popcorn. The reason why a nuke war should be prevented at all cost ia that it may very well be the end of us all and no one would be safe. Though i agree with the previous commments that unless china and russia backs up nokor in case of a us strike, it's just kim who'd be dismantled

Don't be too confident. North Korea is having plenty of nuclear warheads, and missiles which are capable of reaching the island of Guam. If any war occurs, then South Korea and Japan will be reduced to rubble.
How many is plenty? They have very few and the US probably knows about every single one.

Saying that, the situation is getting to the point where something must be done.
85  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Artificial intelligence. on: April 22, 2017, 03:34:24 PM
While dangerous, I see it as an inevitability.

It mostly has amazing potential to improve everyone's lives, despite the risk it may kill us.
86  Economy / Digital goods / Re: BTCFees.com on: April 22, 2017, 03:26:21 PM
Worth a thousand max.

Better to create a useful website for it (or pay someone else to). Then you will see real value.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Central Banks Losing Control? on: April 22, 2017, 03:22:32 PM
Central banks are not losing control only, in my opinion. They are also losing their mind. Since long time now but only recently people start to see it clearly. But thinking that China can shut down bitcoin with no problems as it is say in the article is just silly i think. And the Central Bank does not set interest rates nor any other fees or charges
China could easily mess with Bitcoin transactions within China if they wanted to. See here: https://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/04/11/evil_isps_could_disrupt_bitcoins_blockchain/

Also who do you think sets interest rates if not Central Banks?
88  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War with North Korea postponed. on: April 20, 2017, 05:55:37 PM
There will be no war with anyone. Its sometimes happens that the political tension between countries is not so be good, may be worse. In this scenario, media comes up with that there will be war between usa and north korea. But have they ever considered the fact that what will be the condition if the war brokes out, people all over the globe will have tension.
There probably won't be war, but it is clear that the US was leading the media here.

They wanted the threat of war to be highly publicised so they could put pressure on China to act.

90  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Le Pen leads the polls to win first round!? on: April 15, 2017, 12:12:33 PM
It's scary that she will definitely get through the first round, let alone the possibility of her winning.

Luckily the French system is such that she will (hopefully) he easily defeated in the second round.

You think that Le Pen should not win the elections? Why so?

I'd like to see her win actually, she will try to do something about this deaths of innocent people and something surely must be done. and these recent muslim attacks are going into her favor, people are scarred and if I were living in big cities in France, Germany or Sweden, I'd  be scared of going out. :/
It is interesting how your usernames gives away your political leanings!

If you would be scared of going out you need to look into probability and statistics. You should be more scared of the car journey into the city than the chances of being attacked while there.

It is people like yourself who are easily scared that tend to vote for such people. Luckily not everyone is as scared.

It is quite possible that your wallet is not synced.

Double check the address - if that is right, do not worry, it will be sorted eventually.

95  Local / Press & News from India / Re: [2017-04-11] Moneycontrol: Bitcoin culprit behind money laundering: Kirit Somaiy on: April 13, 2017, 06:12:46 PM
This is not good news if this MP gets some support. We have China, we don't want another government that is hostile.

Ultimately they are relatively powerless, however.
96  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A $ a post or a $ a day? on: April 13, 2017, 06:10:58 PM
This is a good point and I wonder how many people from less developed countries are using BTT to supplement their income.

For me, it is a nice way to earn some extra BTC with fairly little effort. For others it might mean a lot more.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [3000+ BTC RAISED] TaaS: Token-as-a-Service | Closed-End fund [JOIN ICO] on: April 11, 2017, 06:54:30 PM
This project looks good but can anyone tell me.
how TAAS will generate profits ?

I think it would be good if the team could clarify who will be responsible for investments and trading. Its one of the core issues.

Also, will they be investing in ICOs as well or only coins/tokens in circulation?
I would like to know this.

Can someone link me to some information, or maybe a member of the team can reply?
98  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins? on: April 11, 2017, 11:47:57 AM
The easiest way is to research into good Alt-coins and invest in them. GAME is up 30%+ just today, for example.

The is money to be made, you just to do your due diligence.

Where can I find information on how investments will be chosen?

This is the most important part of making this fund a success, obviously.

I like the fact that it is closed-end and also that 25% is reinvested.

It is pretty clear that thing are not as they seem in Syria.

Trump's lack of intellect makes it very hard to guess what game he is playing, if any; maybe he is acting on emotion alone.
