81  Economy / Exchanges / Re: mtgox.com has blocked my account with 45 000 USD in it! on: February 24, 2011, 05:15:22 PM
I offered to mtgox.com solution, I will send him those 3000 USD , and he will unblock my account.
Curently I don't received confirmation from mtgox.com that he is accepting with this solution.

sincerely I don't understand what is going on.

Also Now he is asking me that I send him passport scan.
Can you show me in mtgox.com website where is saying, that he could require identify check,by sending passport scans?
When I registered in mtgox.com from me was not requested to enter my name and surname, or other contacts, only emails.

Everyone must understand that I can't send passort scans to everyone who request. I am able to send passport scans only to banks, police or other serious institution.I don't really know who he is.
Does mtgox.com have any License to manage, require passport scans? Does mtgox.com have financial services and markets License(because he offering financial services he must have one )? I would be happy to see those licenses copys.

I am asking from mtgox.com to give me contact of man from who was stolen BTC, so I could find this problem solution with him.
82  Economy / Exchanges / Re: mtgox.com has blocked my account with 45 000 USD in it! on: February 24, 2011, 10:07:18 AM
The most interesting thing is that man from who was "stolen" money do not appeared here until now, I would like to see what he says. I think all of bitcoin users knows about this forum, why that man not appeared yet?

Also, it would be nice to talk about this situation directly to that man from who money was "stolen", not under mtgox.com rear.
83  Economy / Exchanges / Re: mtgox.com has blocked my account with 45 000 USD in it! on: February 24, 2011, 10:02:46 AM
There is pretty strong evidence that this guy was involved in some theft of BTC. I'm trying to talk to him to make absolutely certain.
from that man from IRC only 9000 BTC, in that day when I received BTC rate was about 0.30/BTC, so it's total of ~3000 USD, so it's necessary to block all my money ( all 45 000 USD) ? ore suspicious transactions involved?
You bought coins for USD 3000, and don't remember anything about this guy (e.g. IRC channel or nick or LR account number) or have any record of the transaction?  Doesn't sound very likely to me.  Are there more suspicious transactions involved?

I was trading in IRC only one time, there is no more suspicious transations involved. As I said before, it was more than month ago, so I can't remember details.

why mtgox.com started asking/blocking my account only after month?

Finally I get reason why my mtgox.com account was blocked.

anyone can get into situation like mine, when someone sends you stolen BTC, How do I know that BTC was stolen or not?

I never said, but I saying now , that I received from that man from IRC only 9000 BTC, in that day when I received BTC rate was about 0.30/BTC, so it's total of ~3000 USD, so it's necessary to block all my money ( all 45 000 USD) ?

I want to forget this situation and save my nerves.
I agree to return that money(3000 USD) to bitcoin member from which was stoled funds, because it's too small amount to waste my and I think mtgox time, or even involve lawyers. I am holding my BTC ( not withdrawing , or exchanging ) to do this, everytime I am ready to send money. I am asking mtgox.com to tell me bitcoin address from witch was stolen money, so I could send it back.

Also I suggest adopt some sort of rules that this not happen to others.
Also as every website , mtgox.com should have at least some "terms of use" in his website, because he operate with real money, he should explain what realy means "volume" and other terms in his page (it's hard to find out what really
stands behind that word, there is nothing like FAQ pages).
Mtgox.com must warn about withdrawing/depositing limits.

I'm confused.

All money to mtgox.com was deposited using liberty reserve.

Which currency is being suspected of being stolen ... LRUSDs or BTCs?

BTC , but blocked is my mtgox account with all USD which was loaded with liberty reserve.
86  Economy / Exchanges / Re: mtgox.com has blocked my account with 45 000 USD in it! on: February 22, 2011, 09:30:34 PM
to bitcool and S3052:
What do you mean the small market?

Look at blockexplorer.com :
Latest bitcoin blocks (transactions):
Number Hash          Date                Tx Total BTC   size KB
109770 d9a7a5475e... 2011-02-22 21:03:33 13 9913.18    3.149
109769 13b3a4ca43... 2011-02-22 20:58:21 12 4068.25    3.135
109768 196de8f606... 2011-02-22 20:51:51 12 3901.41    2.984

Now look at bitcoinwatch.com:
Bitcoin economy total: 5.49 million BTC or 4802668 USD
5 million USD is small market for you?

Now you telling that I am bad guy because I wanted trade with more than 40 000 USD, you must be joking.

to barwench: I am not complaining and not saying that mtgox.com steal from me that money, I just reported what situation I have, for this purpose was made this forum.

to btcsucker: As I said I am not "nerd" , so please do not post offtopic posts. Don't be paranoid. You can track where your bitcoin go through the block chain(I don't know how).

mtgox.com was logged into forum today.  I see from his forum account:     Last Active:    Today at 06:29 pm
badly he don't write here any reply.
87  Economy / Exchanges / Re: mtgox.com has blocked my account with 45 000 USD in it! on: February 22, 2011, 02:13:29 AM
Ok, so let's get this straight.
1. Baron has some unknown amount of libertyreserve. Let's just call it "100$". Baron trades those 100$ libertyreserve for 100$ bitcoin with some random guy he just met in IRC.
2. Baron likes bitcoin, he wants more and decides to deposit 45 000$ worth of libertyreserve to mtgox.com.
4. On February 13th mtgox blocks Barons account and sends an e-mail asking for information regarding the bitcoin trade (1.).
5. Information is provided, nothing from mtgox.
This seems to be what Baron has been describing here.

Maybe Baron could clarify the full story again!?

"2. Baron likes bitcoin, he wants more and decides to deposit 45 000$ worth of libertyreserve to mtgox.com."

Point is not that I want more bitcoin or I like or dislike bitcoin. My purpose is not to get more bitcoin, but trade(buy/sell) bitcoin and earn profit from margin. Only turnover of mtgox.com, as I understand,
for that is too small yet.
88  Economy / Exchanges / Re: mtgox.com has blocked my account with 45 000 USD in it! on: February 22, 2011, 02:00:37 AM
your opinion is wrong. I get liberty reserve by buying using bankwire, and much more larger sums, because I trade on other trading systems like FXOpen.com and Marketiva.com too.

Oh! We got an investor in our hands! Please be advice it isn't wise to come up with this big buying power. You may cause a bubble and it ain't nice for all. xD

Please, everyone should wait for an official statement from MtGox.

What's wrong with you?

Questions:
1. How is it possible that mtgox knows about your 100$ trade? (you don't know, but try to think)
2. Why is he interested in that trade and not where you managed to get 45 000$ worth of libertyreseve?

It would in my opinion make much more sense if this was the case:
1. Baron trades 45000$ something for 45000$ libertyreserve with some random guy on IRC.
2. Baron deposits 45000$ to mtgox.
3. It turns out the random guy on IRC had stolen those 45000$ somehow and mtgox is getting trouble with libertyreserve.

mtgox.com asking from where I get money to my bitcoin account which is not related with my mtgox.com account.

mtgox.com in some way ( I don't know how ) find out my all bitcoins addreses (and who knows what else). Huh  And now I realy don't know if my money is really safe it my bitcoin. Shocked

nerd, is that you? you owe me 4000 btc, scammer.

45000USD... the reported total of deposits on your scam site bitcointrade.biz was about 49000 btc. interesting yes?

for those who don't know, see discussion on russian section:
http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http://bitcointalk.org/index.php%3Ftopic%3D1070.0&prev=_t&rurl=translate.google.com

looking at last pages of that discussion it looks like some have found his real name. guess someone let mtgox know of this scammer and mtgox lock his account. now poor scammer comes crying to bitcoiners.

I am not nerd , and I don't have any relationship with that, and I am not related with bitcointrade.biz. As I mentioned I deposited funds into mtgox.com using liberty reserve not bitcoin, currenly in my bitcoin I have only 12000 BTC.
91  Economy / Exchanges / Re: mtgox.com has blocked my account with 45 000 USD in it! on: February 21, 2011, 10:46:39 PM
one moth ago in IRC I meet man who wanted trade his bitcoin to liberty reserve, so he send my bitcoin I send him liberty reserve, it's simple.

to riX : All money to mtgox.com was deposited using liberty reserve.

But did you get the money originally by trading bitcoins into LR from some man on IRC?
Or were you going to trade your LR into bitcoin with this man using Mt.Gox as an exchanger?

Sorry, I did not understand your questions.
my trade with that man is not related with my mtgox.com account. Only mtgox.com asking about that trade, I don't know why.

So why he don't tell me real reason? If I was cheated and  someone sends me stolen money I will ready to return to from what it was stolen, because I don't operate with black money.
94  Economy / Exchanges / mtgox.com has blocked my account with 45 000 USD in it! on: February 21, 2011, 10:12:34 PM
Hello everyone,

I wanted to report that on 2011 February 13 (one week ago) mtgox.com has blocked my account with 45000 USD in it , he changed my account password and don't let me to get in.  Sad

mtgox.com does not explain to me a reason why he has blocked my account.

mtgox.com asking from where I get money to my bitcoin account which is not related with my mtgox.com account.

mtgox.com in some way ( I don't know how ) find out my all bitcoins addreses (and who knows what else). Huh  And now I realy don't know if my money is really safe it my bitcoin. Shocked

I explained to mtgox.com from where I got money to my bitcoin address. ( one moth ago in IRC I meet man who wanted trade his bitcoin to liberty reserve, so he send my bitcoin I send him liberty reserve, it's simple. ).

But to mtgox.com that was not enough, he started to asking what was my nick name, and chanell name where I meet that man. Because it was more than month ago and I was not loging , I tell him that I don't remember.

After all this he started asking me for my phone number or skype, I asked him to tell me his skype nick name that I could speak with him live, but He changed his mind, and don't telling me his skype. Embarrassed

I ask him to tell me the reason why he blocked my account and why he asking from where I received money to my bitcoin, but he don't answer.

After all, do I have to explain to someone from where I got money to my bitcoin?  Huh
mtgox.com is administrator of bitcoin currency? Huh

What you suggest for me to do? Cry

All my money to my mtgox.com account came from my liberty reserve e-currency account.

I will update this topic when I will have news or problem will be resolved.
