Hi, can somebody tell me the commands to put in ubuntu command line after I downloaded the git repo for cgminer 4.9.1 how to include the extranonce subscribe extension please? I see all kinds of links to where it is but I don't know how to merge it with the one on my computer. Thanks

I'm plugging into the back of my tower, so directly, should be USB 2.0, it's not blue so pretty sure not 3.0.
Ok, as a last straw you can try going through a USB 2.0 hub anyway and see what happens. What power supply are you using to power the miner? Are all the fans spinning up? I don't have a hub lying around so I'll have to get one and try. My PSU is an ULTRA X4 750W. 12V, 56A, all fans spinning up. Does it work right in bfl's bfgminer? No, it spews errors when I run bfgminer, that's why I'm trying cgminer, comes up as BFL 0. I'll try running in a bit with FTDI driver in bfgminer custom and show a screen. Oh OK I was using cgminer from a working in bfgminer. If you're using the custom version of bfgminer supplied by bfl and you have enough power. I'm using 1600w power supplies with enough amps. Then I don't know what else I can help you with

Is it supposed to be FTDI manufacturer?
No, its supposed to be WinUSB. Is CGMiner giving you an error message? If so why no post the text so we know what it is? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi57.tinypic.com%2Ffk33at.png&t=663&c=rPOO9qaHxhK8zw) sorry had it as a link earlier in thread. Try this. I've had similar issues. In device manager un-install the USB devices, check the box delete the driver software for this device. Un-install all monarchs (if more than one you'll see). Then refresh your device manager and you will see the ftdi drivers come back. Now install WinUSB with zdiag. Try that.

Is this what you're asking for? C:\cgm491>CGMINER -D -T [2015-03-21 17:30:07] Started cgminer 4.9.1 [2015-03-21 17:30:08] USB init - BAS device 5:1 usbver=0200 prod='BitFORCE SHA256 SC' manuf='BUTTERFLY LABS' serial='FTYM9T5M'
Yes that's it. Try this: http[Suspicious link removed] I am having this same problem, I'm new to Monarch mining, had a Jalapeno. Do I have to compile my own cgminer or can I put that file into 4.9.1 folder and run from there? Ya I just downloaded that .exe and put it in the 4.9.1 folder and it works. you have to install the winusb driver using zdiag here http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/zadig/ and from the program menu select "list all devices"

Edit: So do think this is a fix or a preliminary test? Also what is the driver instance name for the --usb options? Thanks a bunch, again.
This code should just become part of the next release. It's still all under the same device name for all bflsc driver devices so BAS. The code was never rewritten to account for variants detected after the fact and black/whitelist them (it would be a massive rewrite and manufacturers have all but made this venture worthless). Interesting, this is what I need for my BFL miners and the speed I'm getting is more than bfgminer, the one they recommends us to use. Mining at Westhash through a proxy and the test version of cgminer doesn't show very good speed ie: 0000's and low temp but using the test version of cgminer alone works great. I'm in a pickle. I like the speed of the test version of cgminer but it doesn't handle the #xnsub of westhash so I go to the proxy and LP doesn't mine well. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) (also when switching pools it crashes) What to do? Wait for new version? cgminer is a BTC bitcoin miner, not an alt-coin miner. You won't find #xnsub in it since, although it's next to impossible to find the true details of what that does, it's for alt-coin switching on that proxy. If it has trouble there, pick another proxy pool or use a proper pool. OK I was taking about bitcoin but it's ok I'm mining there without the #xnsub because rates are high right now. Thanks. here's info on what it does https://www.westhash.com/index.jsp?p=software#devs

Will get my money back I have a claim in with Paypal. This is one case where using the fiat system benefited me in a refund scenario.

My apologies. I read too fast and skip important info it wasn't bitin.io it was bitin.co

I requested a BTC refund during raid and today my 4 monarchs are on their way.
Considering at that time I bought 1 card @ 600 Ghs and now getting 4 800's it's not terrible. And not a scam just bad luck. Kinda like mining.
Good luck

I just registered with this bitcointalk because I bought some bitcoins at that site $100 worth and the company won't reply or give me the coins since purchase Feb 28. And the transaction says From Non-US Unverified. But on the site it has a US address. Watch out!
Sorry I made a mistake with the site name see my other post below. it was Bitin.co that was the scam.
