81  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Vs Cryptocurrency, which would you choose? on: January 05, 2020, 01:22:56 PM
for me both are good, because if we get fiat, then we can easily spend it immediately, but if we get crypto then we can exchange it for fiat and easily spend it. but for now it's easier to shop if you have fiat
But you are only thinking on the short term implications of using fiat or cryptocurrencies, a coin like bitcoin has grown almost exponentially since it was created while the value of the fiat in your pocket does nothing but to go down, so when you see things from a long term perspective it is easy to see who is the best.

Besides the fact that cryptocurrencies cannot be easily be spent plays to our advantage since that means that you have to hold your coins since you cannot easily spend them and this means you have a better chance to capture positive movements in the market and make money thanks to it.
That is the main reason why fiat is still the king in the monetary system because bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not widely accepted so it is a hindrance for people to choose cryptocurrencies over fiat. In my honest opinion, there is nothing wrong to choose fiat over cryptocurrencies because you can still do a lot of things with fiat like use it as a capital on different investments.
But it depends entirely on the reasons of why you are choosing fiat over bitcoin, if what you want is to spend your money in something that you want then I will agree with you, fiat is by far the best choice for a person that wants something like that.

But if we are talking about which one is the best investment then this is a no contest, bitcoin is by far the best option, just look at what a dollar could buy you ten years ago and look at what you could buy today if you had used that dollar to buy whatever bitcoin you could, so make no mistake everything is a tool to get what you want and you need to make sure to make use of the correct one if you want to achieve your goals.
Very well said but in my own opinion I think bitcoin cannot fully replace the fiat all though it will serve a huge help for the government to enhance their economical status because fiat is the pioneer mode of payment and we are using it from the late 1900 until now and it is very difficult to change from what we have used to.
Cryptocurrencies would take over the world soon but as far as fiat is being considered, it is not possible to eradicate it completely. Cryptocurrencies are being used at a much greater scale due to its anonymity but this kind of questionable resource is not yet applicable in the banking system .I think that both forms of money have their own significance and are not to be compared to find out better option.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you learn as a gambler? on: January 05, 2020, 12:44:54 PM
Suppose I were given the opportunity to share a lesson about gambling with those who have never gambled, maybe I just want to say there is no need to gamble because there are many other more ways for you to make money. But, what is happening right now is that it is difficult for me to find people who have never gambled, and when they have known gambling then at least they have their own way of life and understand what should be left and not.
Gambling is not a good way to earn money. This is not your point of view .But is not the perspective of individuals who have actually earned much through this method. In the long run gaming is not reliable but I have found that people are getting addicted to it. Moreover some others claim that they gamble just because of fun.
Yes. It has become difficult in today’s world to point out those people who haven’t tried gambling ever in their life. I think that giving lessons to gamblers and the people who are unaware of it can never bring desired results. Gambling addiction has become common and it is only possible to quit gambling when the person himself tries to get out of it. Otherwise advice is not the solution.
83  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to double capital in 2 months? on: January 04, 2020, 04:24:58 PM
You sound desperate and desperation and trading doesn't go hand in hand, you are likely to fall victim to the monster called FOMO and you would lose the remaining funds that you have. As for your question, it would have been quite easy to double your money if we were in a bullish market, you could invest in the most useless of coins and it would still give you profit but that isn't the case now because even professional traders are losing from slight mistakes.
The key to this problem is none other than patience .Trading has always been a steady process and it is never a matter of days. You cannot accomplish doubling your money in just a month .Trading is always to be done wisely .The process of the coins need to be evaluated precisely so that you can find out what is your next move.
84  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for local transactions on: January 04, 2020, 03:53:18 PM
I used to meet at a local library for transactions and we would get small studying room (free). It is personal, private, but still public enough to avoid violent theft
It is good to hear that you have the opportunity of a private discussion room where you can handle all the matters related to trading in your personal way. Trading in today’s world has become a difficult task just because the privacy o the people is much vulnerable to be breeched by the hackers. So I think that everyone must seek some sort of safety measurements to avoid a loss.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction at its Worst! on: January 04, 2020, 03:25:53 PM
only when there is no more capital that can be used to play gambling, and facts that force to get money only for family needs. this is enough for shock therapy and aroused common sense in uncomfortable situations that can get rid of my addiction instantly. many lessons to be taken where must always prepare a separate capital in various purposes, including gambling.

If we think that it could be taken out easily, maybe we are wrong. Even if we have some rehabilitiation projects for gambling addicts, they might still end up even selling their families furniture and appliances to have something to bet on because their addiction is now on the top. I think to make it stop, we need to make them suffer in a sense that they could feel there's no one they could rely into but we secretly still there to help them to change.

This is a dangerous move. To let the addict suffer is to push him into a more desperate situation. And to push an addict into the corner is to make the situation much worse. Remember that an addict is already suffering enough. We need to respond to it accordingly. We need to ask the help or assistance of a professional to intervene. There is of course a professional way of rehabilitating a gambling addict.
You think that those who are addicted to gambling must be left alone so that they would suffer all the damage that they have brought .But it is not applicable for everyone because each person has his or her own emotional limits. There are people who are easy to be tackle or rehabilitated through sympathy .Hardships of life are not easy to be eradicated but it is possible through the support of family and friends .So I think that the addicts must be handed with love.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Vs Cryptocurrency, which would you choose? on: January 04, 2020, 02:31:56 PM
Of course, I prefer cryptocurrency. I like the conception of financial freedom, but nowadays we all have to use fiat money. And this situation won't change soon.
Both the paper money and the digital currency are equally important in today’s world. This is because various systems need different types of money .Digital currency is important for local purposes where fiat is necessary for the official proceedings such as the banking systems. Cryptocurrency is taking over the world because it is being excessively used for the international transactions.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think altcoins will be used for in the future. on: December 31, 2019, 07:19:40 PM
In my opinion, altcoins are not a good choice and will not be used in the future. altcoin is not showing its position in the market because of the significant decrease in value.
Not all altcoins are bad but yes majority is of the useless ones. We shall not put our maximum funds into them as they disappear very quickly from the market. As far as their future usage is concern, they are simply; the famous ones will be used for daily small payments for food and so on. They could be used for clearing bills but never would be used for making big transactions because that is only done with bitcoin.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: December 31, 2019, 07:07:44 PM
It's just because they're selfish and arrogant. Nonetheless, we can't predict when someone will turn into a greedy creature and then abandon the scheme, but it's really wrong to trust our fund to someone else first. If you're puzzled about why people can easily get scammed that way, you'll need to see those people who've entered multi-level marketing or ponzi schemes. They're stupid enough to believe the word of a stranger as if it's like being a scam target.
People definitely get scammed because of their own ignorance and at times too much greed. They want simple money where they don’t have to spend a lot of time and no hard work is required. What I believe is that these people shall stay vigilant in the market which is full of projects and do proper detailed research before making any sort of investments or else they will keep getting scammed.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use cryptocurrencies in your daily life? Are they useful? on: December 31, 2019, 06:42:05 PM
I have been using cryptocurrencies for a long ass time and cryptocurrency really did a great job on my daily life such as paying my bills and monthly charges as well as helping my family economy. I just hope that I can keep doing this until I get my stable job anytime soon.
This is nice always to read that bitcoin or relevant crypto currencies are making lives of people easier. People really become grateful to these crypto currencies for the opportunities they provide masses for making money. Crypto is helping you in meeting your basic necessities and that is giving courage to other people as well for getting into this market. I hope soon everyone would be using it for earning nice money.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin might be over but blockchain will live on: December 31, 2019, 05:39:49 PM
blockchain exists because of Bitcoin, and Bitcoin exists because of Blockchain, the two of them are interconnected,
and it's true they won't disappear from this world, Bitcoin will become one of the international currencies I'm sure of that
No, both don't have to be related, because right now we can see that many countries adopt Blockchain technology but don't take Bitcoin, and it's okay. They just want to make Blockchain technology a technology that is able to facilitate tasks in government without taking Bitcoin.
There is no doubt in this fact that blockchain technology has mesmerized the financial markets especially banks which are working day and night to adopt it for their welfare in the future. As far as the connection of bitcoin and blockchain technology is concerned, people came to know about blockchain technology through bitcoin and still common people associate its existence with bitcoin.
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: December 31, 2019, 04:56:45 PM
I have nothing to move another idea without holding since really thinking point bitcoin price drops long time so take hold coming year 2020. This is really sad you was bought Bitcoin higher price and now price totally painful difference between. However take positive mind and hope you will recover your compensation amount.
There are many speculations that bitcoin has crossed its hard times almost and 2020 will be similar to 2017 in terms of prices of bitcoin. Bitcoin is going to increase tremendously in value soon after halving if we all decide to keep holding onto it tightly. We all know that bitcoin is having hard times right now but the positive mindset that you mentioned is exhibited by everyone, the mighty coin will soon recover.
92  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: December 30, 2019, 07:43:08 PM
When I am tired keep holding altcoin assets but price keep down I try to sell it without care how much loss with my selling with lower price, many altcoin give me much profitable after holding about one or two years, but many altcoin have to sell because not have development at the future growing to higher price because not update anything with their project.
Those projects that do not get updates are the ones which act as pain in ass for traders. Such projects are really wastage of time for serious buyers and sellers of the crypto currencies. This is the reason I want some controlling body which only allow appearance of those projects on exchanges that have some legit profits for traders and are not just to make project owners good money.
93  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: December 30, 2019, 07:24:41 PM
Hello traders!

I would like to know how you started trading? Any interesting articles,
videos or guides that you found helpful before you started?
Can you share your opinions and experiences please?

I started trading 3 years ago when i heard about it on Facebook. Then i started learning in a local trading forum, there are many experts there and they often make technical analysis post. I learn so much from them.
This is really nice if your local platform traders do detailed technical analysis of the situations going on in the market because as a trader community, I believe in helping each other about developing more understanding regarding market. The more successful traders we have, the stronger market is which means masses will be attracted towards this market leaving all us with nice profits.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Purposes to play gambling, except being rich on: December 30, 2019, 07:06:44 PM
For me, the purpose of playing gambling is not just to get rich. But for me to amuse myself, because I play gambling for my hobby and winning is one of the goals for gambling. If I lose, I will stop and play again next time.
Winning money shall not be the only goal of gambling s you said. It shall be paired with pleasure that we can enjoy maximum with winning shots. Going after winning money without strategies leads to great dungeon of addiction. You shall be proud of yourself as you know when to stop the game and take some rest. Most of the time, people are unable to pick up exit point and this is where they lose real money.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you learn as a gambler? on: December 30, 2019, 06:49:24 PM
You probably heard the negative sides of gambling, some people who dont gamble has this bad impression towards it and we cant blame them for thinking that way because of the bad affect of gambling to a person who dont have control and let himself became addicted.

Now what did you realize or learn as a gambler (regardless if you became an addicted or not) that you can share to others?

As a former addicted gambler I realized that gambling is not the answer if you're desperate to grow your money and should not be our last resort in times like this because there's other way that can be the solution to our problem when it comes to money.

Beside learning the game itself & strategy related to it, I also learnt the value of money & started spending it judiciously. Losses in gambling taught me how to save and limit of expenses, especially during the hard times when I had very lil money to get a blind to play.
This is something you are going to value all of your life if you have learned this lesson from gambling i.e. being thrifty in regards of spending money. This is really something tough for young people to do. Controlling your desires give you massive success and advantages in practical life. What I believe is that you are not and addict since you never borrowed money for gambling and used whatever you had.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: December 30, 2019, 03:14:52 PM
In order to start using cryptocurrency in business, one desire and willingness is not enough. First of all, the relevant regulatory legal acts should be adopted in the state, which would regulate the procedure for using cryptocurrency to the smallest detail. Without this, any business can fall apart if the regulatory and tax authorities ask their questions and look for reasons to find violations and fine the businessman.
In addition, the high price volatility of the cryptocurrency is still an insoluble problem for business.
As mentioned small businesses fear of the volatility, but the same serves to get added profit for the business owners. Around the globe very few countries have regulated the usage of cryptocurrency and supported stores to accept bitcoin into their businesses. People too is a reason for the low acceptance of cryptocurrency into business, because people give importance on using cryptocurrencies into trading, gambling practices and not on daily needs.
Small business will start accepting bitcoin when big are going to do so. There is no doubt that the volatility of crypto currencies are being used for trading and gambling because in that scenario they offer them good profits. In business they need something which is stable in prices so that they it could be used as reference for buying and purchasing. I myself want to keep bitcoin as an investment.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: December 29, 2019, 05:16:48 PM
I am a fan of day trading but though I have some altcoins I bought and hold for long till date because of the love but naturally I am a full day trader, to me I feel it's what works best for you. I do not hodl for long unless there something special about the project.
I feel that those people ultimately taste successes who are involved in both types of trading. As you quoted, you also stated that at times you do hold some coins for long term because of some special aspects or characteristics of the coin. So it is never easy to stick to only one type of trading. What I have observed is that basically it is the type of projects which decides whether it has to be treated like long term or vice versa.
98  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of crypto trading do you recommend with $50 investment? on: December 29, 2019, 04:25:24 PM
Long-term holding simply won't make a profit with starting capital of $50 unless you find the next ETH, which won't happen. Short-term swing and day trading will be your best bet, but you'll need to make sure you develop a strategy that doesn't take large risks and exits positions if you're trending towards a big loss.
I will also suggest him going for short term trading or day trading because even ethereum is way too expensive now. It is a king of altcoins and it is not easy to directly purchase it with 50 dollars. Moreover I am going to suggest going for signature campaigns because that is really a good way to increase your capital for investments. You need more money for getting hands on bitcoin and famous altcoins.
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 100% FREE 100% guaranteed gambling strategy 100% no-loss ever on: December 29, 2019, 03:28:13 PM
Don't get wrong with me but your post looks like inventing a bicycle.

Some things need repeating over and over. I have estimated that to teach a child to wash their hands after pee-pee takes about 1000 reminders.

So that's human nature, we as a species are increasingly undisciplined because we live such sheltered lives and don't have to be vigilant for our survival anymore. We tend to believe people who are promising winning scripts and similar nonsense just because we want to believe.

There is no need to get into intense argument but I would politely support your stance that in order to make someone learn something important and make it as a habit, we need to repeatedly either perform it or remind it. It takes almost 3 weeks to develop a habit and during that time repetition is necessity. Well there is no doubt that people tend to believe whatever they want to even if it is trash.
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: December 29, 2019, 02:52:59 PM
When it's my first time as a gambler, my reason was to earn easy money from gambling, but the longer i play gambling at the casino or in the online casino, i only now gamble for fun or entertainment because i learned that even you win a lot of time in gambling you still lose in the end, so you should put inside your mind that earning in gambling is impossible.
Seem to be honest, I just start gambling because I was wishing to earn a lot of money from it and after that I recognized that it's so risky and we'll probably lose a lot of money so then I just tried to do gambling, but just for fun and to amuse with my friends, I don't really consider it as a source of earning a lot of money!

if the main purpose of gambling as a source of income to get money then that is the biggest mistake and of course has a very high risk. even without us knowing gambling that we do without emotional control can spend a lot of capital to continue playing because gambling can make users always feel curious to be able to generate large profits.
This is the most stupid and biggest mistake of all time that gamblers commit by considering gambling as a source of money and that too easy money. Such people are simply the easiest ones to be fooled by house and they are the ones who fall in tarps of jackpots etc. using the money which they cannot afford to lose and this is how they end up in debts. We can avoid such situations simply by avoiding greed.
