If you talking about successfull in terms of technology then I am pretty many of the top coins can e justified as successful ICO's
But in terms of profit I recently invested in Electroneum Coin due to lot of shilling coin on the internet. Had invested $200 and each coin was around $0.01 plus some early bird bonus gave me 21000 coins. When it hit the exchange the price was $0.08 and I got too excited and dumped everything with a easy profit of $1480 doing nothing. Now after a month the price is $0.16. I do feel regretted of dumping all the coins tough.
Anyways ICO's are great way to make easy quick money but also a bit on the risky side.

I am hoping that this can create some like an avalanche of support for Bitcoin in the fastfood industry. Once KFC competitors can see the press coverage that KFC is getting for this move there is a big possibility others can follow the same. We know how powerful even the use of the word Bitcoin or its symbol can be. In fact, we need more of something like this not just because of the publicity generated but making Bitcoin get more into the mainstream of the population. There is a big question on Bitcoin whether it can also be a currency while being a store of value at the same time -- and so we hope that slowly people will realize that Bitcoin can also be both.
On point! Its clear KFC is keeping this as a limited time offer. Might be they are trail testing how it goes about. Whether the currency thingy is going to be adopted is a big question. Though this is a good marketing and patronizing awareness for Bitcoin from KFC's end, I also feel people will be reluctant to use on on spending once they see the amount and fee and confirmation time. Its like ordering bucket for $5 and seeing the bill as $10!! One the humor side, does anyone know when KFC/BTC be traded? |

Though both coins offer fast and 0 fee transactions they are made to serve different purposes. XRB has the vision to replace Bitcoin and take over due to Bitcoin scaling. And IOTA is more of a Coin working on Internet of Things concept for smart devices. If I were you I would go for both as they are promising coins and have a great future ahead. Also do note IOTA still doesn't have a proper wallet or a working product. One thats achieved its going to moon. On the other hand XRB needs more of adoption into the marketplace. XRB getting listed on Binnance within 2 weeks should give it a good boost in price. So I feel its the right time to get in.

You are like comparing Oranges and apples. Both Bitcoin has Ethereum have different visions. Bitcoin has a brand recognition and is regarded as the king of Crypto. But to answer your question if you are looking into a long term I would suggest Ethereum anyday. Bitcoin is no way useable today for the purpose it was created. People are loosing their minds due to high fees and the scaling issues. So an alternative will come up to take its place. Where as Ethereum is gaining a lot of traction day by day and 100's of tokens are created having ETH as fuel. This will drastically increase ETH price. Also if you are going into long term again look on other altcoins too. Neo would be a great alternative to get into at this price.

All these cards where issued by the main company by name wave crest holdings. Recently Visa banned all of our cards for reasons which I am not aware of. Hence most of the Crypto Cards and the contracting companies like Cryptopay, Bitpay, Spectro and etc are all down and working on the alternatives.
I believe there are some companies which are directly associated with Visa. You can try TenX or Monaco should work hopefully. But not 100% sure if it works in Europe or Germany though.

JaXX is still in the development mode and it has lots of bugs in the android and IOS both versions.
I will suggest using another wallet which is more stable or for security use offline wallets.
Second this! Jaxx one of the most buggiest wallets I have come across. Never shows the right balance and takes forever to load. The only reason I believe that people would use this is because of the multi asset feature which you don't find in most of the wallets. Since you are on Android give Coinomi a try. I don't think it will change anything at all. It's just a way of checking prices, it doesn't really have any influence on the market. The only thing is short term if people don't realise they may be wondering why the price fell and that could instill some fear.
There was a little impact due to the CMC fiasco. Many people including me first check Coinmarket cap to check the overall indicator of the health of the market. When they see red more people are inclined to sell the coin. This is most common mistake noobies make. Also as a result many new coins not available in the Korean exchange had a nice pump since people sold their coins to buy these. Secondly people who use bots for trading with CMC api may go into sell mode due to this. This is just my speculation though. Anyways CMC should have informed or put up a banner explaining the situation instead of a star mark berried deep in the markets tab . But its their choice anyways to do it or not since they offer a free service. Its the people who need to be cautious and understand why and what before panicking. |

The news is not official yet. This has probably caused the major dip today and people are panic selling with the FUD taking over. Though the Korean government is trying to regulate the Crypto industry I doubt this is ever happen soon. Also in the worst case scenario in which they choose to close down exchanges, it'll take at least half a year for that bill to pass and come into effect. I would suggest people take advantage of this dip and panic buy. Such discounts come only twice or thrice in a year!

I guess you are new to Bitcoin. Anyways confirmation depends on the Fees you have paid for the transaction and the network congestion. Both are proportional. If you have edited the fee and made it lesser it will take forever to get confirmed. Might take 5-6 days also.
If you can send your TX ID someone here could help you out by accelerating the TX and getting it confirmed sooner.

There a many ways you can make use of this money and least earn more than 5 times the investment.
1) Like you mentioned you can go for the big coins like ETH which are guaranteed to rise in 2018. But I would suggest NEO instead. As it also has a great potential and lot of ICO's coming on it.
2) You can trade the funds. Now this might be risky but if you do it right and with patience you can reduce the risk and earn quite a lot
3) Invest in some promising ICO's coming up. Do some research on your own and invest to get the coins for a very cheap price. I recently invested $200 in Electoroneum ICO and it gave me almost $1200 when it reached the exchange. Also the bonus coins helps.
4) Invest in some coins that are <$1. Again do your study and find some promising coins. I would suggest REQ, BNTY or DBC or similar ones.
And now that the maket is down today I would say it the best time to hop in before it comes back up. So instant profits coming your way.

You have got a lot of shitcoins in your portfolio. But remember they can also moon anyday without any working product. From my research I would easily hold on to NEO, ARK, REQ, IOTA, XLM, ICX. These coins I believe have a good future.
Try swapping some coins for XRB, VEN, PRL and BNTY. These I feel will surely be a hit. Again this is just my speculation. Take it or leave it:)

Bought BCH coin during the pump and dump. Converted my BTC to BCH during high price and suddenly the price fell and lot a of 100s. Since B2X fork was called off many people started acclaiming BCH would overtake BTC and BTC is going to die and blah blah. Never listen to such moron. Do your own research and go by your gut feeling. Since I was a noobie back then I have leanrt how the market works now.

Its not easy as it sounds. Unless you got some workaround to solve the second step. I will give a similar example from my country India.
Since different exchanges are from different countries, the supply and demand price is based on that country. Thats why they are premium priced. People usually exchange within their currency. For example the price of Bitcoin is $18000 in India when its $15000 in Bitfinex. If you send BTC from Bitfinex to Koinex (India) You can convert the BTC only to fiat (INR). That is you have only BTC/INR, ETH/INR, BCH/INR Now if you try to buy some other coin with the INR you got form the BTC, it will also be higher priced like BTC. So you won't be making any profit sending it back and forth.
Also since more and more exchanges are bound to KYC compliance from their own country it will be another roadblock.

Lots of people getting on board to make some quick money. AFAIK Binance has started the registration process again yesterday. But stay away from some shady exchanges. I have lost 0.02 BTC on Bitfinex and still haven't received any reply from the support. Also the withdrawal times take like 4 hours for many poeple. I guess this might also be one reason registrations are suspended since lot of support tickets are opened daily.

this is my new project this 2018 i got 0.004 btc and i just injected it to a trading site so here's my strategy please help me decide  1. invest it in 1 altcoin (short term/long term) 2. putting your eggs in different baskets which means i will divide my 0.004 and buy at least 3 alt coin (short term/long term) what do you think? I would say go with option one. But not long term. Go for short term and rotating the same with different coins. Make a list of certain coins with good track record, real world adoption. Mostly the ones with <$1. Why this is very important is because these coins tend to come back to their original price if not higher whenever BTC rallies and Alts go down. Also try Kucoin exchange and put some money on the new coin that gets listed there. Again do some research. For Eg: BNTY was trading 0.13 when it hit Kucoin. And within 20 days it reached ATH of 0.91. So a lot of profit there. And remember any small profit you make is profit. As your BTC get increasing, you should see some exponential gains later. 20 days back I put $350 on Kucoin exchange. Since I follow r/Cryptocurrency, there a some coins that get a lot of shilled there. So I bought BNTY, PRL, DBC, QLINK as soon as it got listed there. Now my investment is worth $2000. I am a beginner trader. And some protraders might lol over this method. But it has worked for me and I know it will work again. |
