81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEOs drop in value is no threat on: May 08, 2019, 09:42:30 AM
I read few posts today and people keep talking about IEO losing price well here is my own thought

1)IEO projects from popular exchanges are safe and not scam and thats what matters most

2)just because its IEO don't expect quick profits ,they tend to drop in price and that doesn't mean they won't recover at least

What IEO fix is 'getting scammed' and not always profits for investors, thats why I keep telling people not to rely on exchanges only ,just because an IEO is from popular exchange you still need to do research on the project yourself to at least understand what they are introducing

I somewhat agree, what an IEO will eliminate is the most egregious forms of scams such as people creating projects with fake identities and then running away with all the money raised. But they will not eliminate the risk of badly managed projects, stupid ideas or people who are dishonest and don't do what they promised in the whitepaper. All those risks will still exist and you will have to do your own due diligence to screen them out.
IEO with Binance will not only solve the problem of scam faced by investors, but will also be able to cub the number of bad projects that we have in the market. Binance will not only go for the identity of developers for verification, they take time to study the project idea, to be sure that the project will meet the need of people and will pass through the quality phase.

Let us be honest to ourselves, ever since Binance created its coin, how many dumping have we seen? Whatever idea and strategy they use is same thing they will apply to these projects that is going through them, so this is what makes Binance IEO still the best to participate in.
82  Economy / Economics / Re: become rich by bitcoin. on: May 08, 2019, 09:01:05 AM
worth mentioning is success becoming rich by bitcoin. is it appropriate to call success if all of that is obtained from a fraud. What do you think  Huh maybe a successful villain is the appropriate name 😅😅😅
Bitcoin is not a fraud. Take for example I was able to make a lot of money from it in 2017 by Hodl, so it's a success. I didn't engage myself in any kind of fraud, rather I took the risk with my money and invested it in bitcoin and got profit before the year. So I don't really see why anyone should say it's fraud, cause I didn't scam anyone, I did a genuine investment. It can only be seen as a fraud if I had to scam people to get my money. Just like all this ICO scammers and the rest of them that deceives people and run off with their money.
83  Economy / Economics / Re: 2019 Crypto Budget Plan on: May 08, 2019, 08:17:43 AM
There is something I really want to understand on what you have written here. - are you still single or you're married? Cause I don't really know how $60 can be enough for you to feed yourself and also pay for transportation in a month? Unless maybe things are very cheap in your country. Where I live it us not like that, cause I spend more than that in a month and it gets more than that when you're a man with family.

Well, the main truth is that everyone can't live the same kind of lifestyle ,yours might cost you less, but there are people that will have to spend more than that. Do you pay rent and bills? That adds to everything on the list.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN'T RUN FASTER THAN YOUR SHADOW on: May 08, 2019, 07:42:05 AM
This is one of the reasons that its a must for newbies to learn the basics first before rushing to make profits ,knowledge is the only tool to progress in crypto sphere ,when you rush things out you will only find yourself where you began and with no knowledge at all, have the zeal of wanting to know more this is the only way
Majority of these newbies are consumed by their thirst for money to quickly solve their urgent need forgetting that cryptocurrency is not a get rich quick scheme like all these Ponzi that we have out there. To really make good wealth in this crypto, there is need to really acquire a deep knowledge about the crypto space which will help us in gathering all the strategies that we will need to deal with the market and make the best out of it.

When I was first introduced to cryptocurrency, I took my time to fully study the environment, learnt the pros and cons  before joining, and by the time I joined, even the actions of whales was no longer new to me, so knowledge is really power here.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies don't want to learn on: May 08, 2019, 06:37:09 AM
Nice advise, but i think you dont have to say this since there are a lot of newbies trying to explore new things. They also read in every section of this forum that would benefit them. Hence there are local boards that can help every newbies to start with.
Welcome mate, you are in the right place and I am glad that you are among people that are opened to learning and also willing to do everything possible to make it happen, but you don’t have to stress yourself in creating topics for learning purpose, this forum is divided into different sections.

we have knowledgeable senior users, through their experience, who has dedicated their time in creating lots of great tutorials on cryptocurrency for you to learn from, the first step would be for you to study the forum thoroughly fist, that would be the first stage that will open the door for other knowledge to come in.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC To Under 100$ on: May 08, 2019, 06:06:48 AM
I don't think we will see a $100 any time soon, I think bitcoins and probably also crypto will be dead if bitcoins drops below $100, in a perfect storm we cut see bitcoins drop to $2500 and even down to $1000 but the chances for that are very small.
Very small now because most likely we have seen the dip.
It's time to think big now, think of a higher price as it seems bitcoin will have its continues journey upward.

$100 is not an opportunity anymore, it's a price when bitcoin will collapse.
Don’t mind those ones that wish they could turn back the hands of time to 2015, 2015 is gone and gone forever, we cannot see any situation that would make bitcoin dump that hard except government place a full ban of cryptocurrency, that is the only thing that would make most investors including the whales panic sell and dump their coin.

So, they are just dreaming to become billionaire in future like the people that invested when bitcoin was at that value, I sometimes do wish that too but that is already the past and we should just look at how we can turn the market to also favor us in this our own time.
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good idea to buy some bitcoin now? on: May 08, 2019, 05:34:45 AM
As currently, Bitcoin price is about $3400, almost the lowest price of past 10 months.

Is it the right time to invest some for the moment?

Thank you for any suggestion
For me there is no time better than 2010 in investing in Bitcoin . The current price nowadays is greater than the price last 2017 and yes it is fairly enough to invest at this moment, not only for your own sake but for the rest of the crypto community, but if you are not ready yet to invest you can store your Bitcoin or convert you own assets into another assets which you can use and I recommend Darb also for performing a faster way of making transactions.
This current price now might be our own 2010 in future, imaging someone buying the coin now at $5000, and the value later turning to $150,000 in future, there would be no difference between people that invested in 2010 and cash out in 2017.

People that would invest now and cash out in 2026, because by that year, I expect BTC to have grown to such amount of money if we are patient enough to keep our investment till then and not rush into selling like people that did when bitcoin got to about $100.So, now is the best time for bitcoin to really enter the portfolio of some investors for the future.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One of the largest banks in France issues a token on Ethereum blockchain on: May 08, 2019, 05:01:51 AM
https://www.coindesk.com/societe-generales-work-with-public-ethereum-is-a-big-deal

What do you think of this? How much does eth benefit when a new token is issued on it's architecture. Does this have any influence on you wanting to buy into eth, or is it not a big deal?
It does and it does not, what makes the market value of ethereum grows is when people add money to their ethereum wallet, and since purchasing new token requires that they fund their ethereum wallet which they will transfer to the project developer, at that point they deposit fiat and change to ethereum, it will definitely add up to the value of ethereum.

The reason why its effect will later be reduced is because the ethereum was deposited for a purpose, it is just like paying salary with it, ethereum deposit for salary purpose will not stay long in the market, so as ethereum deposited for the development of project will not stay long in the market too.

Project developers must definitely cash it out in fiat to carry out the project, if the entire project that had carried out their ICO through Ethereum had left their money in the wallet, the value of ethereum would have probably reached ~$2000 by now.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right or wrong path? on: May 07, 2019, 11:55:32 AM
I think it's still doable but just be patient because most bounties nowadays are fake and scam, even the veterans here are having a hard time getting profits on bounties right now. I hope you chose a quality bounty for you to achieve your goal.
Patience and research is just the key to getting quality post nowadays, most projects we see now, even if they are not scam projects, they have very low quality products that the propose to the world and may not really get much demand from users that will keep the value of the project up, we just have like 30% of new projects that are really worth it, and it takes time getting them out.

Another way to also earn easily now is airdrop, I think that is the new era now, as most people no longer want to waste their time hunting for these projects again, at least airdrop take less time to participate and get the reward.
90  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm so happy to receive a reward on: May 07, 2019, 11:15:59 AM
Couple of days i always recieve a reward for other bounties and other ways to earn in crypto that tokens giving to me. But in past days its no use and not profitable because lot of them has no price and different ico projects get scammed.
I think some of these campaigns are beginning to pay now, probably they are reacting to the backlash they are receiving from these forum users about how they have been irresponsible in paying their hunters, secondly I am suspecting that they are all beginning to buy into the idea of bitcoinBULL RUN approaching, because during bull run is when a project that has not entered exchange in 2 years tries to enter exchange, there is usually more of demands for altcoins when bitcoin is going sideways during its bull run, anyway, we need these tokens now inpreparation for the Altcoins season.
91  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance traders are making more money than other traders on: May 07, 2019, 10:37:57 AM
Binance for me is the most good exchange platform that i see. So many people like binance because it is the top 1 exchange platform with no fake volume. Because in other exchange lot of is making an fake volume and traders always complaining from it.
Some people  are not seeing all these positive side of Binance, all they see is the monopolistic nature of Binance and complaining what is  not there, while they are complaining, Binance is busy focusing on making their platform better and how they can add more benefit to their existing customers.

I have been using Binance since they got to the market, and not for 1 second have I got any reason to complain abit their service to me, how many complain have I seen in the market about other exchanges? So many of them, now when they say Binance users/traders are making more money, they will start arguing blindly.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: REBELLIOUS Discussion Thread on: May 07, 2019, 09:49:29 AM
I was about asking whether there is any official thread for the REBL, before I came across where you wrote that there isn’t one. So that means that you’re the one doing the advert. Anyway, I might check them out and do research about  but from what you have listed out, seems this is going to be a good coin and they are taking their business very serious.

Most of these projects these days don’t take their business serious and they don’t give steady update to their investors. Another problem is that they don’t even give support, but since this one does, then they are going to grow for sure.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are IEO's bad? on: May 07, 2019, 08:19:33 AM
My understanding for IEOs is basically instead of project handling raising funds etc. It will be for an exchange to do so.

An IEO hosted by Yobit or Binance can clearly not be compared. In other words, the exchange gives more credibility to the project regardless of whether it's worth it or not.

Am I the only one who thinks this is actually a bad thing and make people focus on the exchange hosting rather than the actual project and what the team is offering etc.?

No they are not bad. It is a good step in the right direction. Despite the fact they are taken advantage of by exchanges, and not entirely foolproof, yet it still solves the intrinsic problems of cryptocurrency volatility contributed by fraud from project developers.
Your point is a very vital one, yes we know that IEO project are secured and so on, but there is no guarantee that IEO projects are solid even if they look solid to the exchanges, most of these projects they bring our are all on trial, because they have not engaged in it before, and if they don’t know how to manage the project very well as a starter, they will definitely fail, no matter which platform they come with, whether it is IEO, IPO, STO or ICO.

So like you pointed out, we still need to Do our own research and not completely rely on these IEO because the platform is also been created by Man that is not perfect in all things.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 Reasons why IEO is better than ICO on: May 07, 2019, 07:48:24 AM
Personally, I prefer the usual ico on ethereum.  There is much more transparency.  And the advantage of ieo is only in the fast listing on the stock exchange.
That is not the only advantage or reason why people are running to IEO, you are  not a newbie and you already know what Ethereum ICO is already going through, how it has been destroyed by scammers and has made investors loose interest.

Ever since IEO platform was created because these top exchanges promoting them makes sure they do their own due diligence in ensuring that the project is a very reliable one, many investors have made their ways back to the crowd fundingscheme and still supporting these good projects in establishing it. So ICO and IEO are totally not to be compared.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulating bodies on: May 07, 2019, 06:57:21 AM
Online gambling is very popular nowadays, specially those who also uses crypto for playing. With this popularity, there's ton of gambling sites/operators available. But the problem is who to trust? who plays fair and pays fair?

Are there any regulating bodies that verifies, rates, and promotes gambling sites that is genuinely fair to its customers? Not just on fair plays but also gambling sites that protects its customers identity etc. Thank you.
Having a regulatory body for online crypto casinos will not be easy at all, Don’t forget that some of this gambling sites operate from Caribbean island, and  I would have suggested that the best way to know trusted gambling sites is to check for the ones who are licensed in their regions but most licensed casino sites would demand for KYC and this is what most gamblers hate to hear. And some are licensed but yet reputable, so we still can’t judge by that.

If you have fear of been scammed, then I advise you carry out a good research before  you play on any site, For me the way I judge a reputable site is on how long it has existed and the reviews on the site, but  a regulatory body for crypto casino is never going to happen.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I spend the daily expense by playing gambling? on: May 07, 2019, 06:18:26 AM
Earning profit in gambling is just a secondary goals that a gambler will do but it could depend also on individual that gambles. Of course, money is so hot in the eyes of everyone where some might get killed because of it.

Now, it is not all the time that you will lost when you gamble. There some.instance like a certain day that you will be lucky and will be winning home with huge profit. This is why a gambler will never stop gambling because of enjoynment and excitement felt diring the play with the intense on possible winning.
Exactly. I do not expect any sane person to depend on gambling for daily expenses considering how unreliable the game can be.  One can win today and cannot predict the next time it will come again.
Gambling is supposed to be a game of entertainment and anyone depending on gambling for daily expenses will soon end up stranded.

I have been gambling for over 3YEARS NOW AND WHAT I HAVE INVESTED IS MUCH MORE THAN I HAVE WON. I CAN EVEN count the number of times I have won, I am not bothered because I am enjoying the fun in the game and that is all that matters.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling securely and sensibly online on: May 07, 2019, 05:31:40 AM
The most important thing you should have in gambling game is controlling yourself. Nothing else. By controlling yourself, you will be able to know when it's time to quit, how much money you can use in the bets and else. Controlling yourself will not easy to do because you need to have a strong mind to be able to stop in anytime.
It is greediness that makes many gamblers to actually lose money.  There is always a time to quit and most times that is when the sweetness of making money do push many of us to start over gamble for profits.  Whenever you are over gambling you should be rest assured that you are already on the part of losing heavily.
Not for me now, personally my experience help me a lot not to loss more money, I loss but a small amount of money and I can easily forget it.
What experience told us for most gamblers, is that we learn the ability to minimize our loses, and that's better than expecting to win when we don't have the capacity.
Experience is truly a great teacher. It’s unfortunate that many would never learn. I didn’t even need experience to understand that in gambling, it is good to play with what can easily be forgotten or any amount that I can easily afford to loose.

It was so easy for me to always gamble what I can easily afford to loose because I saw gambling as a game of entertainment. I knew I didn’t have to commit an amount that was too much for me just because I needed fun, and I quit the game as soon as I exceed my limit even though I do not make any profit, I will just be glad I had fun and that is all that matters more to me.
The reason why you have been able to minimize your loses with ease is because you have a good knowledge of gambling and I think that is where many are derailing. It hurts me a lot when I see people who are proud to call gambling their major source of income and am, like Seriously? When did gambling become a corporate organization and who are the management lol.

Gambling has been on for many years, even our fathers played it for fun, it was a good way our fathers of old entertained themselves and as well make little money, it was never meant to make anyone rich overnight, so those who get greedy because they want to make so much money on gambling only end up in frustration.
98  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader don't speculate? on: May 06, 2019, 06:32:10 PM
Well, I agree that we don't need to speculate. FOMO is just for them who are not willing to learn something that related to their area. if we have enough knowledge to do anything, we can speculate it, even it won't be right but at least we have a reasonable basis.
Speculation does not always mean being fomo. It can just be predictions at to what price is going to be on a future date and then preparing accordongly from beforehand. The Reddit storm of speculation is definitely cancerous and something to avoid. Most of the accounts there are just shills promoting their shitcoins and blabbering like kids playing in the backyard.

But normal secularism does happen and the wall observe threads are proof of that.
Sometimes when I see some speculations, I am sorry to say, I usually ask myself if the person was even born with brain at all to see that there is no sense in what he or she is speculating, some people come here on this platform to just play around and say whatever they like without basing it on facts and real life things. The worst people are even the ones that act on their speculation too without making further findings.

This is the reason why majority of them are not even traders, because I believe there is no professional trader that will just speculate with intuition or emotion without really studying the analysis severally to arrive at a final reasonable conclusion.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All ICO Project Proponents Must Also Submit KYC on: May 06, 2019, 10:19:06 AM

The KYC requirement in many ICO projects has been the bone of contention of many investors and supporters with many thinking and feeling that this is not needed as this is the industry that proposes decentralization, anonymity and privacy. However, a project can argue that it is the law that requires them to know their customers and they are in fact just following the regulation. The problem is that KYC is not a guarantee that a project can never go down the coffin and run with the investors' money...maybe travelling to the "moon" and have an indefinite vacation in there until the victims can forget their misfortune of trusting them.

Now, if these project owners can require us to undergo the KYC process...should it not be rational that they themselves submit to the same so that we can be sure that we are dealing with real people with real address?
I have said this times without numbers too that KYC by these developers is also very necessary, but the challenge now is how to push for it, since they are the ones developing the system that request for KYC and we investors have no system to do this, and ordinarily, if there is no system enforcing this on them, there is no way they will comply with mere words of our mouth, it will only fall on deaf ears, but if we have anything we can hold that would enforce it on them, that is the aspect we need to be looking at now.

I think it is only bitcoin talk that can make this happen, since most of them come through bitcoin for bounty hunters, before this developers can push the campaign out through this thread, they must do KYC before their ANN paper can be published.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICO'S Scamed since last year on: May 06, 2019, 09:46:58 AM
Because people see the explosion of crypto in late 2017. Many ico created to take away the money that investors entered. They see that many people will join their ico and they will play tricks on people's greed

Scammers always come at any time, this is what makes the market red, I'm sure when they get crypto they immediately sell to fiat so that the price drops.
Of course that would be their practice because they would not keep it in an exchange, They convert it immediately to fiat and leave the market, although some of these scammers are still among those making investment, some of them still end up being the whales too with the amount of money they have scammed from people.

ICO market has already been polluted, so I think the most focus of people now, especially investors is on IEO projects, at least we still have some faith in IEO projects based on the judgment of the reputable companies that carried out the project for the public to buy into.
