81  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: March 24, 2016, 06:02:18 PM

for the few places that do accept bitcoin, do you currently spend the coins you hold at any of them?

I know places like www.takeaway.com accept bitcoin and i even heard CEX.co.uk accept bitcoin in stores now too, but does anyone spend the bitcoins they have or do most just onto hold them? (Or gamble them lol)

I wonder if there will ever be any retailers that only accept bitcoin.

i use pruse.io mostly, you can buy stuff from amazon using bitcoins there so i think it is awesome site, and yes of course that i spend bitcoins, sometimes it's even cheaper to pay something with bitcoins then normal money, i think that everyone spends their bitcoins, atleast few $ in month
82  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: March 24, 2016, 05:59:51 PM
If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house?

Ive been thinking if it went into very high figures i could cash out 80-90% of bitcoin and buy a house outright with no mortgage.  Is that even a good idea though? - basically 80% of networth in a house hmmm.  On the other hand i dont want to have a mortgage and im fed up with renting due to landlords, letting agents and lack of control.

of course because price can drop any minute then so faster you will spend them, happier you will be

also if bitcoins will be so expensive then i don't think that you will need to change to fiat, because everyone will accept them as normal money
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: March 24, 2016, 05:56:56 PM
Lets say I want to buy bitcoins today and store them for 20 years to use a my retirement fund.  Live comfortably, but don't need to buy a yacht or anything.  How many do you think I would need to buy?

you would need around million $, so that would be 10 bitcoins, pretty real that price after 20 years will be 100 000$ for bitcoin, because of halvings and China, bitcoin is so popular right now that more and more stores accepts it so price will really rise
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: March 24, 2016, 05:55:32 PM
What are the future projections for Bitcoin?
Everything stating about the future of Bitcoin is just a blind guess, anything can happen to bitcoin price, it may even drop to 200USD but even then may people will invest considering it as a price drop and the prime time to buy BTC

i don't think that it will drop to 200$, that's way too low since price now is 430$ and it still rises because of halving, everyone buys bitcoins to sell them after halving

and halving will happen in July and that will boost price for sure, so i think that bitcoin have potential

How to earn money with bitcoin ?

Simple hodl them  and wait the "revolution".

to hodl, you need to have bitcoins at first, and if you don't have any, then it is a problem

just buy bitcoin or two and gamble, if you're good gambler then you should win lots of bitcoins, and you're bad one then invest them, risky too but less risky than gambling
86  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: March 24, 2016, 05:49:49 PM
I know that people give out loans but what's up with people no returning what they borrowed?? I want to know this because I might give out loans myself and I want to know what to watch out for... I have ~800 BTC at the moment and would it be a bad idea to start loaning? I bought my BTC back in 2010 mid August January(when it was about $0.07 per BTC) and I noticed the price went up a ton! Also what would be some other way to grow my BTC? Any ideas on what I should do?
Lol I don't believe a word you say about your bitcoin holdings, no offense.  And what's up with people not returning what they borrow?  Hello, are you new to the world?  It's greed and dishonesty.  I assume you're probably not new to this forum either.

of course they don't want to give back money, there are lots of scammers that does that,  so loans are very risky

if you want to do something with them, just invest in gambling site, less risky than loans, or just keep them for longer
87  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 24, 2016, 05:47:00 PM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

i think it is really good to invest not matter where, better than just keep them

and if you can, don't invest in gold or silver, but invest in bitcoins because their price will rise this year for sure so you can't lose, just win money
88  Economy / Goods / Re: How much would you pay for this? on: March 21, 2016, 05:53:02 PM
Just wondering, how much would you pay for this?

The product can come in many different colors and sizes.

Thanks,
James.

i wouldn't pay a lot for it because it is small and tiny, so it shouldn't be worth a lot too, but i have to admit that it looks really awesome, on hand it looks even better, i would pay for them around 2$ but not more unless you would add something more
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it a good idea to buy bitcoins now ? will bitcoin go up or down in next 2-3 y on: March 20, 2016, 02:08:31 PM
hello guys i know a bit about bitcoin but not sure if it is a good idea to buy im trying to save some bitcoins on my wallet 2-3 years will sell them .

not sure if the price will go up or not so im askin the expert what do you think. i got about 700 dollars going to buy 2 bitcoin or 3.

but i will start will low investment how much shall i get  for my 75 sterling pounds  i checed on preev it shows 0.4066  sould i get that price
people sometimes asking me 1:1 what does that sign mean im confuse.
where can i exchange my paypal fund to bitcoin

first of all, no one can predict price correctly, we cna make mistakes so don't blame others if you will lose your money because of what we said

and second, i think that price will rise for sure by 50$ or  i hope even more, so you should be save if you'll buy bitcoins now
90  Economy / Speculation / Re: why I bought on: March 20, 2016, 02:05:20 PM
Reading over threads on this forum I've learned quite a bit about mining and the community in general.
But the reason I bought bitcoin has nothing to do with the former or the latter.

You see I'm one of a small percentage in the USA who reads/listens to news outside the USA. Most people I speak to have no clue what is happening in Europe, how the death of Petro-dollar is meaningful, ZIRP influenced stock market Bulls, overinflated housing valuations, trillions in student loan debt, Vehicle lending bubble, crashed Baltic dry index, emerging economy bond debts, low income per household,  oil hedge covering by the Fed and Treasury, COMEX price rigging, overvalued dollar, FATCA, TPP, on and on.

Pretty much I've sounded like a crazy person to most but that's OK.

Why am I writing this?
Well its because people seem to have a brain around here so if anyone wants to hear some very interesting info Jim Willie (goldenjackass.com) gives some animated, resourceful and so far accurate underground info regarding government level corruption and how it will crash the dollar which chases wealth into other Venue's like gold, silver, BTC.

You see BTC isn't going up just because its the nextgen of wealth.
It isn't just going up just because working BTC commerce and investment platforms have surfaced (yet to fully mature).
BTC is also going up because people like myself don't want to play Yosemite Sam guarding home based Bullion, nor do we wish to gamble with TSA screening for metals. Bitcoin is perfect for its time and the incoming wealth is just beginning.

Well done and enjoy the ride (don't sell).

Btw BTC market cap of 7billion is nothing in grand scheme.
With Commerce support maturing I'm seeing 3-5k per coin (or per 100,000,000 Satoshi).

If retirement wealth comes around we are talking above a market cap of 1trillion.
This is a worldwide platform, very private, and very secure.

Nice one. Doubt you'll ever regret it. Crypto is not going to go away now, genie is out the bottle.

I'm a big fan of the jackass, dont remember if he ever talked about bitcoin though.

yes crypto will never die now, it's way too popular now and best thing is that others like all crypto monies and more users buys them each day

and buying bitcoin is always a good thing, your money will grow in future for sure so you will be even happier later
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving - Will we see a new price high? on: March 20, 2016, 02:02:36 PM
We are moving fast towards the bitcoin halving. In about six months the mining supply will drop to half. Do you think we will see a rally in the price before or after that? Do you believe this can set a new high?

will we see huge price? of course, compared to what price we have now, will it be new price high? probably not

to see new price high we need  to have large price now, and now we have pretty small price, 400$ only, so we will be lucky if we will see 800$ after halving
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much you lost money in gambling? on: March 20, 2016, 01:58:59 PM
how much money you lost in gambling?
after losing money are you still playing?
if anyone addicted to gambling what to do?
you think gambling id good way to earn or just fun?
Edit:most of the gambler takes loans to recover loss but the also lose loan.anyone here have same situation?
Thanks

i didn't lost any money, i just won extra money, not like other gamblers sadly when they lost money only

and with loan taking to win your money back, it is very risky and you can lose that money too so you will be in deep hell, but if you won money back the your life would be normal again
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you gambled? on: March 20, 2016, 01:55:16 PM
Did you win? How much?
Did you lose? How much?

i won around 1btc now, and spent 0,4 btc so i won totally 0,6 btc and i am happy with that, others gambles 3 bitcoins and wins 1 only

i also played poker and sport bets only, you can predict who will win in football or what others have in poker while you can't predict dice game based on luck
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your first gambling experience? on: March 20, 2016, 01:50:06 PM
Over the course of your life, no doubt you have gambled at least once. It did not have to be a direct bet (heh) but you could have indirectly chosen to risk something. Remember, you don't have to be in a casino to gamble. You can be anywhere and wager something. So, in full, I'd like to see what your first shot at the dice was. Your prime dice, if you will.

terrible

i can't remember my first real life gamble moment but i remember my first gambling on primedice ( i think) i gambled with 2$ and i won 2 times so i got 6$ and i was very happy, i'm not addicted to gambling now, but  i gamble time by time with my extra money tho i don't always win now
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: March 20, 2016, 01:45:41 PM
Gambling don't fix my life, and don't wreck my life either. I only gamble with extra money that I earned for free (like BTC from signature campaign). However I won't gamble all of them, and if possible, I will only find some low risk/positive expected value gambling sites.
P.S. A positive expected value site I am using is dadice, which their jackpot system gives that (you bet 1 satoshi per time at 1/5,000,000 chance for winning 0.2 bitcoin).

my life is totally same with or without gambling, i just gamble when i feel bored and want to have some fun or i have some extra money,  i'm not addicted to gambling so it never could wreck my life and  i never won anything large so it never fixed my life
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: March 20, 2016, 01:40:30 PM
I see there is so many people trying hard to stop gambling their money because they've losing so much
If you not ready to lose your money, then don't even try to gamble!

gambling on its own is not a problem. but "addiction" to gambling is a huge problem and it is a very common one.

i think you should have discipline when it comes to gambling your money. which means setting aside a fixed amount and play around with that much. and that amount doesn't need to be huge either. it can be as small as you are comfortable with taking a  risk on.

yes it's pretty common thing, that's like drugs or smoking, you only try once and you want to do it again and again, same with gambling once you win something you think that it can't go wrong you so gamble again and again till you loose all of your money, it's a huge problem
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ALL IN!!?? on: March 20, 2016, 01:31:44 PM
Ever go all in  Shocked  and have a positive result?

depends where you bet everything, if on poker then you can win lots of money if you go all in on right time, if on sport bets, then you can win some(or lots if huge risk) money, but also you can lose everything while going all in so you have to stay smart while doing that

99  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and Litecoin in 20 years on: March 19, 2016, 06:49:28 PM
Bitcoin will become the "gold" of the internet while Litecoin will become the "silver." With Bitcoin trading above $3000.

Sad part, there will be a lot of unclaimed Bitcoin by that time.

Just my thoughts.

Well of course that bitcoin and lite coin will be very popular in future, but i don't think that stores will accept litecoin, they will bitcoin only so it will be more popular, and price yes, might be around 3000$

if everyone won't buy/sell/use bitcoin, bitcoin would die

personally i like to use bitcoin because very easy to bay with it, not many stores accept it but it's still nice to use it, if everyone would just hold or gamble them, there would be no more bitcoin accepting stores in future
