81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you wish you could do the most with your Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2020, 01:03:25 PM
To be accepted in almost any online shop and local merchant alike but that would make bitcoin price stable and the occasional surge or spike will not be as big as today, but I hope almost everyone on the planet will know about bitcoin.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto online stores? on: July 02, 2020, 12:56:08 PM
Gyft, Overstock and Newegg to name a few known online shop that accepts bitcoin as payment mostly are file upload and download server that implemented crypto as payment, other company uses a gateway to accept bitcoin, I am not sure if microsoft still accept bitcoin to add money into your account.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season, scam altcoin projects will appear. Check their Githubs first on: July 01, 2020, 01:10:48 PM
It is given that every time there is a successful project there will be a clone of it no need to look on github the Anne threat shows it all even the white paper sometime is a copy-paste with a little revision on it, some scam project will be too lazy to even make a presentable website most of them will just use what it is already on it and add a little text on it, Defi or not has the potential to be a scam.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or there are others who have same thoughts? on: July 01, 2020, 12:00:00 PM
Is it just me or others think same way? I mean are listed bounties intentionally using bounty campaigns to create hype and before the bounty is over they dump part the tokens making it lose value and make bounty hunters share what's left??? I'm kinda confused with bounty projects that are trading

Actually to dump is not the purpose of the bounty campaign. It is to spread awareness and if possible hype to the project.  It is one of the marketing strategies of any business that opt to fund them through people's money, .a.k.a ICO, IEO, ITO, IPO, etc.   The major reason why several projects get dumped the moment they get in exchange is that many of these projects offers discounts on investors.  Like their regular price is x USD but they give it at the price of x/3.  So who is in the right mind won't sell if they saw 2x 3x profit?  Thus, dumps happen.
Not just a discount but many of them offer airdrops that anybody can join with a small amount as a reward never knowing that those airdrop participants will sell their token or coin the moment it got listed on an exchange, one more example are those that do a 2nd phase ICO which they will sell there token a tad bit higher than the first, bounty hunters have a part on it too.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: June 30, 2020, 01:49:28 PM
The question is will the current bitcoin, eth, ltc and other altcoin/token become zero value in the future, as some of you know some government are trying to develop its own crypto and other have tested it on some country Canada has digital dollar, Uruguay has digital Uruguayan pesos, the possibility of returning to zero is there but it is never gonna happen as long as there are investors willing to invest on the current crypto.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible to retrieve my invested BTC from Plustoken? on: June 30, 2020, 01:36:51 PM
Its a big scam and it's all over crypto news sites the authority will surely find a way to recover all those stolen funds but surely not most of it and small investors might not get their funds back and it will take a lot of time months or even years.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICO vs Bad ICO on: June 29, 2020, 02:06:16 PM
Good ICO are those that have their own solid chain and a well-versed developer on that field but after being around a bit I watch a lot of good ICO failed not because of its developer but its CEO making the wrong decision or being greedy knowing that the project will succeed.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: June 28, 2020, 10:47:36 AM
Since the bitcoin surge way back 2017 and the sudden burst of smart contract ICO DEX have become number one go-to if a traders want to unload his portfolio but the unstable network and congestion that leads to a delay of transaction for almost a day makes them return to a centralized exchange.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I won't bet on this on: June 28, 2020, 10:28:50 AM
PayPal is planning to implement crypto payment, that's not a bad news at all and we already have DeFi projects making Ethereum bullish this days.. that's two major news that can trigger bullrun soon but..... Don't make a bet on this, nothing might probably happen, actions speaks louder than words, maybe if PayPal actually get this done then, just maybe .......

Paypal would definitely get it done. Many of the payment processor are already into buying and selling crypto and Paypal would not stay behind. With paypal letting users buy crypto, it would be easier for a large group of people to buy crypto with their bank account/salary. This would be a positive thing for crypto adoption as many people are still struggling to buy crypto due to the hassle involved. There are many dapps in the past that has made Ethereum's network congestive but had no impact on price, the current Defi boom seems to be similar. Though ETH 2.0 is what we are expecting to boost the price of ETH.
If paypal will ever consider using crypto as payment they might consider using a stable coin or create their own chain, BTC is too volatile to use as of now, and as for selling and buying crypto there is a lot of reputable exchanges out there that can offer better security.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum transactions not going through on: June 27, 2020, 01:19:25 PM
Whenever I make a transaction i always follow the gas on myetherwallet there is only one time that a transaction got stuck when cryptokitty started, congestion on eth network can happen any time, a large transaction or a spam on the network can clutter things up.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherscan or Ethplorer on: June 27, 2020, 11:40:15 AM
For a clean look and easy to navigate etherscan is always on top of other ETH explorer, as for the price of tokens its a matter of who update first on their server, etherscan give you the ability to view almost all information about a token and even warn you if its a spam token.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: same private key? on: June 26, 2020, 02:01:40 PM
Yes they can spend all of your funds on that address if your using a seed phrase to generate your address and someone from the other side of the world coincidentally make the same seed phrase but the chance of it are so slim, generating an address from  BTC client without using any seed phrase will not make any duplicates.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: June 26, 2020, 12:58:57 PM
Almost all old coins that I hold in another drive are dead looking back at those old coins make me realize that I have spent too much time collecting fork coins and cloned projects, reviving old coins have a lot of risk in it, old coins such as reddcoin have put a lot of effort developing their coin but still they are under top 100.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did dogecoin survive? on: June 25, 2020, 11:39:21 AM
Dogecoin was created to be fun as meme for bitcoin while ltc is a direct fork of bitcoin, the large community of dogecoin makes it survive even when bitcoin make a plunge from 20k to almost back to 1k USD  the support from the holders is amazing, it will stay afloat as long as bitcoin is on the top.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when price is dump?? on: June 24, 2020, 11:37:26 AM
Hodle and wait don`t panic keep your eyes off of the chart it can develop the urge to sell, you only do this to established altcoin but for newer token always sell if you have gained a bit of profit because new token get dump and it will have a hard time recovering.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum (ETH) Price on Course to $300 on: June 24, 2020, 11:26:59 AM
Since ETH price is still tied to BTC and if another surge happens and btc reach 10K USD or above maybe we can see eth beyond that price in the coming months or it will stay on $225 to $250 at the most.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Oikos a scam project or what??? on: June 23, 2020, 11:34:01 AM
They already raised funds but still extending their bounty? it seems shady. Well bounty extension sometimes are necessary for their part to spread awareness however its not good for hunters side because they are hoping to get their rewards soon but if the campaign keep on extending hunters cant leave or else they will lose their stakes. If you can bear the rules of the project then continue to do your part however if you see an indication that it will turn to another scam then its time to move on and quit.
Maybe they are aiming for maximum exposure to get noticed by reputable exchanges for easy listing, bounty extension is also good for hunters as long as the project is successful and has a guaranteed exchange listing.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of repetitive projects and old ideas on: June 23, 2020, 11:10:30 AM
Many new altcoins will die in the future because there won't be many investors investing money on them and as we know it we have many scammers here who will keep creating useless tokens and coins, if you are a developer and you think you are serious enough then try as hard as possible to come out with something new and different, enough of repetitive projects and same old ideas

Bring in something NEW or don't bother at all
Because they are all the same smoke and promises better invest in projects that have solid blockchain a well known dev and a big community, that is if you can find one since smart contract is kind of popular when it comes to copy paste codes.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: June 22, 2020, 06:41:30 AM
Mostly Greed that makes a human commit financial mistakes, not knowing about the project can easily be resolve by reading and researching but even doing it so some folks got scam, why? because of its developer, every project can turn into scam even the greatest one of them, many still believe that crypto can get you rich in an instant while that's somewhat true many of the wrongdoers take advantage of it.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Possible Binance DEX or Atomic Wallet hack on: June 21, 2020, 12:26:53 PM
I change the password from my phone app. But when i try to access the wallet from desktop app with the new password doesn't work.
Now i can access the wallet through desktop app with the old password and from the phone app with de new password. WTF?!
Is something wrong with this wallet. It's smell like a scam, be carefull.
It seems this ks the reason why you lost your funds, Where did you downloaded the app for your phone? If you did somewhere other than official website thst the app you downloaded got malware which sends your old password to the hacker so he accessed your funds and stole it.
This is the possible reason, you should always download your app to official website and check the URL if its really the site, some site can be highjack and you will be redirected to another site, hoping you don`t keep many token on that wallet.
