Freequant should be ignored, I really wish there was a way to block specific users from a particular thread, it really would improve the general tone of these forums.

but more importantly, what if Freequant is actually Inaba and is pulling the old double switcheroo ... actually, come to think of it, Freequant is likely Satoshi and using this entire BFL/Inaba/Freequant scam to manipulate the bitcoin market

87  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: MAJOR UPGRADE @ BitcoinPool.com ~ No Fees ~ Are you still paying to be a miner? on: June 14, 2011, 10:41:15 PM
Strong recommendation to avoid this pool.  The operators are rude, childish and extremely unprofessional.  Search their previous posts and see for yourself, many examples of swearing and unprofessional conduct.  Avoid!

Will you accept btc as payment?

Well of 349 get works so far 143 had no results
that's better than 1/3 that were worthless to hash to the last bit
these numbers are from poclbm-mod which continues running even now and has been running since yesterday on at least 5 different blocks

still  only  seeing like 1 in 8 above 75%

and FYI
after 4 days of excluded low efficiency's  the pool efficiency is still around 80%

Why do you use this pool if all you do is complain about it?
90  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~70 Gh/s Mining Pool] INSTANT PAYOUT,+1-2% with LP! +1.2% for no failed blocks! on: April 07, 2011, 03:37:43 PM
Also, the "BTC in last 24 hours" in history column is real earning, not theoretical or expected value.

wich is a giagantic peice of the site that i love

Could you make it so that your pool shows how many Blocks (50gen's) that we've found, I've found One on slushs' pool and i've been mining in Deepbit for 3x the length that i've mined in Slushs' pool.
But the #1 that bugs me is the rate of auto payout!, it needs to be Much more than Once a day without

I disagree.  Deepbit has one of the best implemented and most flexible payout configurations of any pool.  There is no delay for block confirmation, there is customization for payout threshold which triggers the automatic daily payments and on top of all that there is a pay now button.

I fully agree with your post.  Very well written.  I agree with you that one of the reasons for all of the hostility is because the pool owners quite often lash out with harsh language and obscenities.  They are also very quick to threaten expulsion from their pool for anyone who disagrees with them or dares post a negative opinion on the forums.  They also follow through on these threats, as I am aware of several users who have been banned from their pool for speaking up.  I also fully concur with your conclusion that these are not the type of individuals that I would trust or do business with either.

I do not believe I was shouting.  Sorry if my opinion offended you.

It is my opinion based on experience, not an attack.  I am sorry if you share a different opinion.  That is why we have freedom of speech.

97  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: [NEW POOL & MINER] - BitcoinPool.com - Jump In! ~NO FEES~ :) on: April 01, 2011, 11:07:28 AM

TBH, if someone thinks that the measures you take may affect their payout badly, they will just leave. I personally find deepbit's system right now great

Sounds like an opinion to me ... I thought you said these were not allowed?
98  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: [NEW POOL & MINER] - BitcoinPool.com - Jump In! ~NO FEES~ :) on: March 31, 2011, 03:43:09 PM
I strongly advise all users to avoid this pool!

why? Don't just come and troll here, without a reason on top of that

I strongly advise you go fuck yourself? I mean seriously

It is my opinion that users not use this particular pool.  It appears that based on your response that you have a differing opinion.  I do not believe that the fact that you disagree with me negates my ability to offer my opinion.  I also do not believe that name calling and abusive language is an appropriate response.

Do you really think that swearing and utilizing capital letters helps you make your point?
