81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CHC] ChainCoin - 0.9.2.4 Update - Cryptopia & Novaexchange on: July 16, 2017, 05:22:58 PM
Here is a link to the current blockchain as of like an hour ago.  This does NOT contain the chaincoin binary for the wallet.  You will need to download that from the initial post.

The contents of the file include the blockchain and a basic chaincoin.conf that includes the current list of nodes that were connected to the block explorer.

To use this file do the following:
Code:
1.) Download the wallet from the main post here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=422149.0
2.) Run the wallet and decide where you would like to store your wallet and blockchain
3.) Close the wallet
4.) Download the blockchain snapshot from this Megalink:
https://mega.nz/#!RSJghILD!N3u5e0QglPstY51PL34RPDPINuqd2jv-KucKlWdDeUY
5.) Extract the chaincoin.zip file to the location you selected when you opened the wallet and replace all files
6.) Run the Chaincoin wallet and it should be near synced

Default location for the data directory is:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\chaincoin

If you'd like to send a few chaincoins to help me get my masternode setup feel free:
Code:
CHC address: CVwfvK3HRnjrwM5HBx2jUJ35Yr5prSyz7B
Remember lets HODL!  Remember to encrypt and backup your wallet in a safe place!

Nodes for your chaincoin.conf.  If you can't find the file in the chaincoin wallet go to tools->open configuration file

Everything you need to get synced can be found in this post:

83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash Miner - easy-to-use best-profit multi-device cryptocurrency miner on: July 15, 2017, 12:56:40 PM
The new "Legacy 1.8" software is awesome...

I put 2.0 on a few PCs and, frankly, I didn't like it at all... I will definitely be upgrading all my mining PCs to the new "Legacy" version =)

Did I understand correctly that there is Nicehash miner v1.8 released somewhere?

84  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ★ ClaimWithMe ★ Most Paying Faucet Of All Times ☆ 13,890sat/min ☆ Free Bitcoins! on: July 14, 2017, 03:38:06 PM
not sure if this is legit or a scam... but the point is play first before you complain... as i read this thread i find out many people complaining about upgrading and buying to get their payout... some are proving that they have their first payout... i know you know that this time consuming but there no easy way to make a money for a day without trying some stuff and trying hard... i'll post again hwen im done to this faucet

Well some people have reason to complain because the rules for payout did change.   The wording of requiring that you "purchase" mars before being able to withdraw makes it sound like you have to deposit in order to get your free earnings.   The alternative would have been to increase the minimum payout amount, but then you limit everyone to that minimum.  The effect of buying mars is essentially that the initial earned amount is 550,000 Sat before your first withdrawal.  After that it really is just free BTC.  How long it will last no one knows.

Logically though the change they made makes sense for the sustainability of the program.  No way it would have ever lasted the way it was and who knows if it will now.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash Miner - easy-to-use best-profit multi-device cryptocurrency miner on: July 14, 2017, 03:28:01 PM
your saying that it is based on basic idea of supply and demand, but if I make more coin from using the others, then should I not do that?
I am sorry but I am relatively new to this, and trying to find a good software.

while claymore runs in the backgrounds I can use the computer to play , watch videos or movies or whatever I wish, it does not affect the performance, but using nicehash it
will tax my cpu and thus cause problems, so...ummm... to me it seems claymore seems to work for me.

You should definitely use whatever you feel earns you the most.  I find that Nicehash is easy to use and requires no knowledge of really anything related to mining, but it also seems to come at a cost of about 20%+ earnings.  So if you're a noob that doesn't want to learn anything about mining then it is a great route to go and pays out very reliably.

Electron (blakecoin)   0.333809 ELT   6.676%   0.00000000   29m ago
what's the point of mining this coin? =) Would be lovely to be able to disable on a pr coin basis instead of algorithm.

It's MERGED MINED and no market so worth nothing. I'll mine any auxpow coins regardless of their value. It takes NOTHING away from miners. It's my own resources that are used.

Please stop whining about auxpow coins and the value.
Very well. I did not know about this. My bad. I wasn't trying to be whiny... it was literally just a question Smiley I don't know every coin in the world Cheesy

It's because I just asked the same question like the page before.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash Miner - easy-to-use best-profit multi-device cryptocurrency miner on: July 14, 2017, 02:38:14 PM
Because on nicehash you are not mining coins directly.  You are selling your hashrate to whomever wants to buy it for whatever price they are willing to pay.  If the demand is low for hashrate rental the price will be lower.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Miner Control 1.6.1 - Auto profit switching miner controller on: July 14, 2017, 02:30:58 PM

Any word on a fix for the dozen or so coins that seem to show extremely high payouts even though they are the same as other pools?  For example I tried using an exchange price on one of them to see if that would make a difference, but it doesn't seem too.  Just seems odd that a few coins from multiple pools seem to have this issue.

Yes, a fix for this would be great.
I have resorted to just turning off or removing those coins/algos with the super inflated numbers.

There is a setting that you can set to ignore outliers, but not sure if it works or not.

Which exchanges are supported for the exchange option?

For the moment it reads exchange rates from public APIs of
Cryptopia, Poloniex, Bittrex, Bleutrade, Coinexchange, Yobit, CCEX

Exchange rate is taken as the "last trade" rate.

Thanks that's what we needed!

crackfoo, I have to warn if I don't get all my money before tomorrow, I consider the theft (for QRK) & intolerable attitude; & I share my zpool experience (along with my opinion on ur business insides) with public out of this topic. We'll c if public opinion meets ones of ur toadies. Just to prevent u from deleting or editing posts again: evrth is saved Wink

Except all the evidence is right here proving that you're the one who mined yourself into a deficit and not willing to wait per the pool rules.  You can say anything you want, but the evidence is perfectly clear.  Besides what's a newbie poster on these forums going to do?  You can get your coins as soon as you recruit some people to mine up your shitcoins that you picked.

As mentioned before your other balances have to wait for the blocks. I'm not going out to the exchanges and buying coins to fill others wallets.

As I mentioned before, I had already done waiting for blocks for these coins once, but got no payment because of, let's say, pool bugs. So, as I mentioned before, please, do supply me with 4 coins before Saturday. U r exchanging miners' coins at poor rate daily, do exchange few urs, not much at all Wink WDC, TGC & SBC (mining now daily, probably pays itself).

And u still keep off mentioning QRK. Don't forget about it, too, please, I really want to close evrth & forget about zpool.

crackfoo, the problem is with unprocessed for many days tickets, otherwise it would had been already closed a week ago, keep it in mind, please.

The pool clearly states that if it doesn't have coins to pay out in the currency you are requesting that you have to wait for blocks to be mined.  It also states that if the coins get removed that you lose your earnings.  That's the risk of not being paid out in coins that don't have blocks that are regularly found.

93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: July 13, 2017, 05:03:04 PM
I've seen that as well with my Neoscrypt mining that the pool seems to show 0 hashrate, but the local miner is showing it mining just fine.  No errors are indications of rejected hashes or anything.  Must be an issue with the KlausT CCminer as that was the one I was using too.

I just rebenchmarked Tpruvot and Carsenk's update for Tribus and they are better hashrate anyways.  We'll see if they work better.

Love this faucet, hope to see up for at least 2 months

Well, if you are only "hoping" it's around for 2 months, you may as well call it a ponzi and not a "faucet".  Look anyone who deposits any real money here gets ignored and never get their money back.
Not true, i get helped by admin in facebook like yesterday. And i deposit for Psyduck. And my planet is back now, thanks for admin...

How much did you deposit and how long did it take admin to answer you?  There is still the guy who lost 2 BTC and then got ignored by admin.

Little strange that guy hasn't posted on the forums at all since then though.  Hard to know if it was real or not.  There were certainly pics and stuff, but these days hard to know if they didn't just doctor them.

I decided to pull the trigger and deposit a little from my miners and see what happens.  I'll probably withdraw at least my initial investment if it makes it the 10 days.

No doubt that no one should put in any money they aren't willing to lose entirely.

I would love to get paid in LTC, I know that the pool does not mine that, but is there any way for that to happen?

Nope only can be paid in the coins that are mined or BTC.  You could always use a wallet like coinomi that has built in exchange capabilities.

WTF NEED TO DEPOSIT AND BUY MARS FUCK
ive been visiting this faucet 2-3 week now and ive been using earth because its free and im good with the threshold and withdrawal fee so ive been claiming claiming claiming using earth because i dont have a btc to deposit and im happy with that and right now the update WTF need to buy shit mars to process withdraw wth i thought this is a faucet and faucet remains free FUCK

You don't need to deposit to buy mars, you just need to claim until you can build up to buy it with free earnings.   When you buy it 10 days and you can get all your earnings back again and withdraw.  Then you have 20 days of the higher earnings to withdraw if you want.

Until it becomes worth something and you get all that free moneys  Wink

Electra is worth a tiny bit now on Nova.  Not sure how much we ended up mining of that when it went super bonanza mode.

yeah pretty much.

I think only ~600M

Only...I personally mined up like 45M of it just in case.   It does seem to be building a bit so maybe it will be worth something someday.  Any way to back pay some of that if it does end up making some money?

Okay just thought it was strange we were mining up coins that were listed as 0.  Other times I've seen it there were problems with those coins like when they moved to PoS.  Just letting you know.

Looks like something is up with blakecoin pool.  Electron is showing up with a 0 value.
