How it changes perception and perspectives - it opens up a whole new dimension to how things can be done.

Was it in the 100s or 1000s? I tried googling without any luck.
Also, a quote I saw a lot after the recent talk by everyone's favourite: “Fuck Raspberry Pis, if you can't afford a $20,000 node to help the network, piss off.”
Watched the whole thing and what was actually said: “Quite frankly, I don't care about Raspberry Pis. If you have been in Bitcoin since 2009 and you can't afford a $20,000 node to help this network, piss off.”
So, what would that mean? How much would that help in terms of decentralization and the network in general if everybody that was into bitcoin in 2009 had a $20,000 node?

Depends on my mood, I sometimes hear rap to classical to RnB and sometimes to rock music. Don't really have a specific genre on which type of music I listen to.
I usually listen to Pop, RnB and EDM because these genres have this capability to make me stay calm. I often listen to songs with these genres when I'm reviewing or studying for some major examination because listening to music makes me more focused on doing something. Also, these genres are not disturbing to the ears unlike metal and such. I'm not against metal genre but I think you can be much more relaxed when you listen to these genres. Mood and setting absolutely has something to say. While I enjoy other genres more, sometimes I'll want to get my diva on and I'll listen to some pop-ish albums, Marina and the Diamonds, Lorde etc.

Great to see you still working on this will, I hope when we get merged folding working to a point in which we can comfortably and easily offer it again that you will be back as your project is a perfect fit We're experimenting with this and that, keeping our eyes open for anything that might be interesting. It would be nice to support folders and vice versa in some capacity in the future.

The players connect directly to Spotify or iTunes/Apple Music, maybe they were having some issues.
It works fine on my end both on desktop and mobile.

Some of you might be interested in this since we're undergoing some changes: http://www.blocklabel.com/announcements/2016/4/30/overhaulWe're making some changes to the site and will do a complete overhaul of how things will work going forward.
It has been a good learning period to see what works and what doesn't, it's an experiment and it will still be an experiment, but now we want to improve on what we have started. We're going back to the drawing board and hopefully we'll come out better, wiser and stronger.

So fantoken will no longer be distrubuted on the merged folding platform? Hi Will H, I'm sorry for your experience with the merged folding. Perhaps best to plan a chat with you, me and Robert soon. I'll find out what is going on. No problems Jona, just to be clear so there aren't any misunderstandings: To lighten the load on the foldingcoin team I was going to do distributions of FANTOKEN to folders myself. However, to do so I need to use LTB/Tokenly's share distributor. Something which I haven't actually got access to yet. Since I'm dependent on that and I think what's been discussed on slack about creating “receiver tokens” can turn out pretty good, distributions of FANTOKEN for now will be given as a monthly draw. Folders will have to enter the draw with their folding name (the one they use for foldingcoin) each month to be eligible. It's more like semi-merged mining.

what is DEVPARTY ? new surprise ? are we suppose to get more tokens payouts ? there was talk here about SCOTCOIN and they delayed payouts? also MAGICFLDC and FANTOKEN didn't arrive lately I understand in the meeting video what you say about being busy with your job we are all busy, and difficult to work and focus after being busy whole day and week. so everything takes a long time. still pushing folding@home WUs patiently ... Hey SalimNagamoto! Have you joined foldingcoin's slack group? There are more discussions going on over there. Here's the link: http://slack.foldingcoin.net/Any input and thoughts from a hero folder would be great!

Will from Block Label here. Some of you may have noticed “FANTOKEN” is now part of the merged mining. It's a token that represents 10% of our profits. I wanted to say a few words to be clear on what that exactly means. The question we're trying to solve with “Fan Tokens” is: “How do we find a way for people to receive a few BTC whenever they share one of our songs with their friends?”It isn't feasible to track every single tweet or blog post, nor is it possible to track when people share something by word of mouth. That's why Fan Tokens represent 10% of our profits. By having a token that represents any success the project may or may not have we welcome anybody who wants to be a part of it. While we're at it, we might as well incentivize doing good as well. E.g. you have Fan Tokens and you share a song with someone: 1. That person listens to the track. 2. Which in turn generates profit for Block Label. 3. A more profitable Block Label is better for those who have Fan Tokens. 4. A better Fan Token is more desirable to others and more people would want some. 5. Incentivizing more people to fold. 6. The more people that fold, the more people that will receive Fan Tokens. 7. More people likely to share a song... Full circle! Anybody want to make a nice flow chart of this? That's the idea anyway, whether that will be the case is whole different matter. Oh, another thing I wanted to make clear is the daily distribution amount. It's 100. (foldingcoin's announcement stated 1000) I've made a (test) page so it's easy to check your stats, however, Robert would have to confirm if this is correct. I've merely assumed that this is how it will more or less tally up. Take a look here: http://www.blocklabel.com/fan-token-distribution/Thanks Will! For the people that missed the announcement: We are pleased to announce our next partner in the Merged Folding platform, and thats Block Label! Block Label is a project for artists from anywhere in the world to easily get their music on digital platforms and services (e.g., Spotify, iTunes/Apple Music, Tidal). Using blockchain technology, Block Label distributes its profit to artists by the amount of tracks they’ve contributed. In other words, artists own a share of total profits generated by Block Label. Block Label utilizes the blockchain to give artists ownership of profits by using the Counterparty protocol. Artists receive a “Block Label Token” (a token that represents a share of profits) for each track they upload/add to the catalogue. This token works as a tool for the artist to receive their payment over the Bitcoin network. Fans who have “Fan Tokens” will also receive a share of profits. For more information please visit the Block Label FAQ page. The FANTOKEN page will be setup on Thursday for my next full day of FLDC work, so look for it then. Here is the distribution schedule for FANTOKEN: Counterparty Token : FANTOKEN FANTOKENs distributed per day: 1,000 100 Start Date: November 1st End Date: TBD Thanks and as always you can email me rross@foldingcoin.net with any questions or concerns Since it was mentioned in the last public meeting of the time constraints that the foldingcoin team has, because it's basically only Robert and Jona, I wouldn't mind doing the FANTOKEN distributions myself. That's one less task for you guys to deal with. I guess I'd have to ask Adam over at the LTB network for access to the mass/share distributor. I'll send him a mail.
