It's not going to do it anytime soon or likely even within 15 years, but it could in our lifetime I reckon. I think more economic instability in certain countries and maybe another financial collapse/crisis will happen soon rather than later and that could bring in many new people to bitcoin which could have a snowball effect. absolutely not. there is no point in thinking it ever will replace any major fiat currency. just stop thinking/hoping that it will happen. it will not.
Why will it not? If in the future bitcoin keeps going up and fiat keeps going down which is what happens when they print more of it on a whim people might wise up. Money should grow over time not devalue and bitcoin could solve this and that's what's great about a deflationary currency. yes that is right, it is not really gong to happen so soon. i think it will take decades, because still a very little number of people know about bitcoin, while majority of people do not have any knowledge about bitcoin. i think still people need good knowledge about bitcoin. and specially in backward countries where people do not have any knowledge about bitcoin. It will be hard to replace in any ways. There seems to be no strong movement for young people who are getting into Bitcoin maybe because there is there is trend in the popular culture of giving in to easy life. Many of our youths are not thinking about investing yet or even saving money for the future. Maybe what we should encourage are young professionals who are already having a job and are not yet married...they should invest in Bitcoin instead of using their money for worthless things like new gadgets and pleasures.
I have one doubt, do you think the young people will think about their future when they are under their parents. I think no, in this age they need entertainment and having fun with friends. And they like gadgets, mobiles, etc. They will never think about their next ten year future. They only concentrate on what is tomorrow plan that's it. Most of the young people are like this, but we find some people they think about their future, this kind of people we see very less. most young people but not really all. there still are thise who look into their future at an early age though I have to agree that young ones today temd to focus more on the moment rather than looking at what will happen years from now in their lives. for me, it's enough that they have savings first. they can invest on btc and other investments anyway when they feel the need for it oe realize that it's a good way to spend their money Some young people have been thinking about their future since the age of 15. Well i think it is. Technically we store our money there and banks now has no use if we do that. Most transactions dont need banks, investments dont go in banks and you can wait in time for until price increases. It may not be directly that it can be recognized as a bank but the fact that we can have big transaction without using a bank marks the purpose or concept on how a bank workds in the physical world. I save bitcoin for future because i'm not a silly person to enjoy short term things while i can enjoy them for a long term things like having a house and a nice car and having a financial freedom, It is best to wait than to enjoy worthless things like latest gadgets and other stuff. I know that there is always a risk in every investments to do, but to think about investing a long term holdings of bitcoin will actually at risk of 50% chances to fall now due to expensive bitcoin price; and sell price is lower compared to buying price. But if we thing longer terms of investments, well I guess that’s not risky at all and yet bitcoin has a bigger capability to rise higher of it’s price and it’s been projected to reach from $2000 up to $4000 next year 2018. Don’t think of other investments other than btc and you must choose the right path now the answer is digital currency investments; because it’s been profitable for years.
Id been thinking if I need to transfer all my saving in btc now than staying in the bank,who doeant increase even half of the imcrease in btc if I hold it on. I think it will be a good decision since Ive already how bitcoin went far beyond expected from its been before. |

It could happen duo to popularity of bitcoin and cryptocurency that some altcoin rise, but there is low probability that it will indanger or replace bitcoin. Bitcoin is too strong and getting even stronger, day by day. I do not think that any altcoin can replace bitcoin... not in near future that is. to me i think anything can happen as possibility is always there, but still there are very little chance and i do not think that any other crypto currency will overcome bitcoin in next few decades. We can't really tell since there were a lot of altcoins in the background. Some were improving and some getting dump. Bitcoin still on lead but lets just see what may happen in the near future. |
