That's right, it's not certain that someone will just stop gambling with punishment, it takes a long process and time if it's not balanced with a real intention to stop gambling.
I agree with your method, if you give rehabilitation sanctions or stay away from your beloved family (prison) then gamblers will be deterred and want to stop their gambling addiction, it sounds very scary, but nevertheless I think that is the only best step.
But even though gambling addicts are in rehabilitation, they must be determined to cure their gambling addiction. Otherwise, they may return to gambling after the rehabilitation period is complete because they think they can pretend to go through the healing process to get out and return to their gambling activities quickly. There must be awareness from the gambling addict that he is addicted to gambling, and he comes to rehabilitation to cure his gambling addiction for the sake of himself and his family. And his family must continue to encourage him so that he can cure his gambling addiction. Indeed, it will take time and sometimes longer than scheduled because it all depends on the physical and mental condition of the gambling addict.
With strong and serious determination and motivation to recover from your beloved family, including stopping someone from gambling and it also takes a long time if he doesn't change his mindset that gambling will make him miserable because he will lose the money we have. And maybe he also lost his own family. It is true that if someone is crazy about gambling, it will have an impact on their physical and mental health, such as looking anxious and confused when they lose and when they want to gamble they don't have any more money.

It affects both physical and mental, you will notice that as a person who is already addicted doesn't care to anything aside from continuing to play and lets his desire to be accomplished.

we always haveour option, either if you are in side of the gambler or if you are on the side of the person who
are caring for the person who are involved with this kind of activities, you need to work on how you make things
right and have that self-will to make things happen for the betterment. Either you or is it someone who is affected
on it.

-snip-
Oh, and Serbia too, without Nikola Jokic I thought they were stopping at the quarter-finals but surprisingly they are now playing for gold. There's so much talent on that team and I bet even the Joker is surprised and happy about what is happening to his country's team.
Sure thing Joker is proud. It's a great feeling to see your fellow countrymen playing excellent basketball in the World Cup,and it's hard not to be proud and happy about their achievements.

But if Joker played in this tournament it might change how Serbia plays and affect the game's result for better or might worst, no one knows. Eventhough Jokic is a superstar having one on your team doesn't always make it better, remember the 2012-13 Lakers season having Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Howard and Steve Nash look how they end up on that season.

He sure is proud. Anyway, never change a winning team, even if it's just hypothetical. With him on the floor of course they seem better, but the smallest changes sometimes can have a big impact.
They are where they are because they played together as a team with a great game plan. No need to think about what could have been.

Basketball isn't Jokic's priority, it's just his job, as he stated himself. He had a long season, won the chip and enjoys his well deserved offseason.
Also, obviously he loves his horses more than basketball.  Grin

They are already in the finals and we don't know what might happen If Joker is playing with them, but for sure he loves seeing the achievements that his fellow countrymen are gaining.

Almost just one more game away from winning the title. I like your comment about what he loves and he really
enjoying his time with his horse.

The upcoming NBA season is nearing, and he's enjoying his break and I'm sure after the enjoyment it will be
back to reality and start conditioning and practicing for another run, chasing for another title.

regarding beginner gamblers who still do not know how to analyze whether a gambling site is legitimate or a scam, its actually very easy, just ask a friend or anyone who is more experienced in gambling and its very normal for beginner gamblers to still be confused about how to research a scam site or not because of the large amount of gambling nowadays. It always makes us worry about gambling scams and for those of us who are on this forum, we are very grateful to be able to choose a trusted gambling site that has been analyzed by trusted members and one of them is Stake.com, this is the biggest site that has had amazing developments.

IMO, for budget issues to try new gambling sites or beginner gamblers not need to use the amount of $50-$100 just $10-20 it will be safer and if we talk about better saving for the future I think it is already out of this gambling scenario because gambling is always recommended using cold money from the remaining daily needs.
I agree or better if you could share this forum to them as well. As what we can see, most of the well-known gambling sites that is about or related to crypto has an ANN thread here and if someone is still confuse about something we can post this in this forum and ask for feedback. There's a lot of new gambling site wherever I use any soc media platform. And we can say that it is bigger than before.

Sharing the forum will help them find related updates and information about the gambling site they wanted to use or if they have a concern about it, they can heck and post it here.

With the emerging technology, all platforms are now being used by business owners to attract
possible players to use their services, you can point them out here or you can point the socmed
that the business is using for addition information.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Typical scenario when you are losing on: September 09, 2023, 11:00:50 AM
I am not typical waking up early what ever happening are loser in gambling or not, but when position loss more will try wake up as late possible how to forget with loss. For upcoming day, change small budget and use as limit possible for betting and use small fund in the next time until earn big winning to change amount for betting. Many unpredictable scenario happening later when in the loss position, bad mood is usual habit and spent all time in bad room than communicate with friend.

But is risk have to faced when choosing bet, if won't that happen not try betting as way to earn money but for enjoying game only is not prohibited.

A kind of habit that may allow you to forget about that loss. If you can just wake up and forget that losses it will help you to cope up.

We know by the fact that losing in gambling is not new to us, understanding your chances in gambling gave
you have the right impression to handle both winning and losing.

It's up to you on how to adapt and not to let your emotion to bring you back and keep pushing to recover
your money, it will just lead you to lose more.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: September 09, 2023, 04:53:16 AM
Everyone should know how he will spend his money before earning it. It is much easier to spend money than to earn money, so if we do not spend money in a controlled manner, no matter how much we earn, we will not have any money left. You must buy the things that are necessary in the world and it is better not to buy the things that are out of necessity that will last you a day. If you have a habit of eating in restaurants with your friends, then you have to change that because the restaurant meals are usually very expensive. Also, if you have 4-5 friends and you pay the food bill of those four or five friends, then your restaurant bill will be a lot. Money will go away. Maybe your friends will speak differently to you some day but develop habits that will bring good things in your life. Money is worth a lot in life, so if you spend money unnecessarily, you will understand the value of money when you need it a lot.

I think the buttom line here is to set yourself up nicely because there are still people who enjoy the luxury of eating out and eating with friends even in the economic meltdown. It is all about what financial capacity you have. Of course the example you gave is apt for those who are going down in finance or having dwindling financial returns so they can cut down on cost and follow a more prudent lifestyle and that includes to live a secluded lifestyle. When you don't have much financial capacity city then you could start avoiding people and friends.

It usually happened, even in this type of economy people continue to spend more compared to how they earn their money, with a kind of gestures it will be tough to cover your finances.

Controlling everything in the right sense and in the manner of saving things for a better future may help
to use your money from what you need and not for not what you want, it's your knowledge to save up
some of your spare and make sure to have that limitations in terms of overspending your money.

The recent rise in streamers and influencers pushing this story has definitely sped up the growth of the business. It's true that governments get tax money, but the moral side isn't taken into account, right?
Truly, the rise of influencers in the digital world, not only on Youtube but also on various social media, is currently making this business grow very rapidly. Not only that, because nowadays, the era of technology is increasingly developing and becoming more accessible, gambling promotions can also be obtained from various other media. In fact, they are always in advertisements for various games and also online books or novels. This is crazy, they really do a big promotion to attract new users. In fact, it's not just one or two, but more and more online gambling sites that are different and easy to access.

Gambling owners are willing to use every platform and spend more money just to advertise their business. With the help of each platform that allowing those ads, it can easily reach more people around the globe.

We know by the fact that the money that every casino can spend will easily be recover once more gamblers start
to play and use their services, it's just a small slice of the possible benefits once they successfully earned the
interest and trust of each gambler.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learning from those who have experience on: September 09, 2023, 01:25:00 AM
I want to ask those of you who have a hard addiction experience in gambling and then you can treat it yourself, and today still playing gambling but with the principle of good management and financial management in gambling.
I want to know how you break away from the addiction, you can mention the actions taken or what kind of steps? And how long do you need time to break away from the addiction that has been experienced?

"I want to find out because I think your experience in the case as I mentioned will be useful for readers, especially for me personally"

I am not addicted to gambling but if we search the internet there are lot of documentation about gambling addicts and their experiences.  Here is some of them:
TikToker trapped in gambling addiction that nearly destroyed his life - BBC Newsnight
My Gambling Addiction | On The Red Dot | CNA Insider
My Gambling Addiction Ruined My Life | Minutes With | @LADbible

There are also streams where they discuss about how one can recover in gambling addiction like this one:
Gambling Addiction - Despair to Recovery - 12 Step Therapy

With those references you can learn something from someone's experienced, it's really needed if you wanted to avoid any mistake that can be resulted with the same outcome.

Addicted gamblers often realize mistakes or big mistakes when they are already empty, they will start regretting
and thinking of what they've done wrong once they don't have anything with them, with those write-ups and
video streams, you will learn something and if you take it seriously, then you will not experience that same
problem or if possible from those experienced, you will not go to even start your own gambling journey.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 09, 2023, 01:16:25 AM
^^ It's no surprised that Filipino boxers spar against each other, I mean they are going to support and so we have seen two great champion in Magsayo and Tapales sparring and trying to get as much experience specially for Tapales as he might have a upcoming fight against Inoue.

Although the fight has been scheduled already, we haven't heard though the official announcement. Nevertheless it will not hurt if Marlon Tapales will also prepared or preparing because anytime, the fight could happen.

It helps to build better stamina, knowing Magsayo with really solid combinations. If they will take this sparring seriously, I think it will help
a lot, as Inoue is expected to have that strong type of punches.

I like the way Pinoy champ supporting another one, both can boost their skills from one another,
hopefully Tapales will learn things from how Magsayo play his strategy and execute his own
style of fighting.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: September 08, 2023, 11:58:42 PM
If they still have a poor mentality, usually when they win a lot of money, of course, they will use it for something they have never bought, then they buy it, even for useless things, they will also spend money quickly without thinking about how the money should rotate, if their mentality is already rich, of course they will use the winning money to do business so that the money rotates and makes money.

I often find people like that around me, they even buy a big house but they don't think about how they are going to pay for electricity and water even whatever is in the house without any other income, that's why before gambling it is necessary to have a rich mentality because with a poor mentality it will be difficult to control finances properly.
This happens because those people cannot think long term, most people do in fact buy the most expensive house they can afford not realizing that if you have a bigger house now you need more and better furniture, the costs of maintaining that house will be higher and it is possible the utilities will be way more expensive simply because of where the house is located, so a lot of people end up losing their houses as they never imagined all the new costs associated with it.

It should be balance but that's part of after-effect if you don't know how to manage your money, like in your situation even the lucky person can buy a new house with his winning money,.

But without a source of income, the house can become a liability as maintaining a big house needs money
to cover your expenses, you need to plan well with your money and better to make that money works
for you in terms of putting up business or investment that have potential good outcome.

Sad to see the United States get eliminated before even reaching the Final in the FIBA World Championships. While I don’t think these were the best players we could have sent, it seems like USA’s domination of basketball is losing its grip. They’d better send our best to win the gold at the next summer Olympic Games.

Not the strongest but I think the decent roster to fight for gold medal but they come up short and left behind by 2 points. This is huge upset to them since fans really believe that they are the one will reach up to the finals easily but the germans cut those expectation and show up some great dedication to beat up the giants then take home the win for their country. Guess this is better luck next time for team USA and for sure next world cup they might think about sending more stronger roster and also veterans that can help their world cup run.

They've been losing grip though not just in this FIBA but years ago, just look at who is the last MVP in the last couple of years, it's all European or at least not-American, Giannis, Jokic and then Joel Embid.

And then they sent just a decent player, there are no superstars in the line up except just players of pure hype. And so I'm not surprised if team that have been playing for so many years beat the US and Canadians for that matter.

I just had a thought though; I'm thinking that the team USA might've done it in purpose though. I mean it's clear enough that their roster was just a pure hype and it's too much to ask really to think that they can reach the finals round because there are teams like Germany and Canada who are more deserving and talented than them.

Now, I'm thinking that they just sent these young star aspiring players to have some experience before they go back in reality where they are NBA players who are playing for their respective franchises and their goal is just to qualify for the Olympics where in that time, that's where they will send their best players.

That's possible, it will bring hypes again for the league, if they will send superstars in this upcoming olympics and then win the title.

But for me it's better to completely dominate the whole tournament not just the olympics, still a pride for them
and an extra boost for other countries who see that even team US can be beaten in this league, but for now,
let's give credit to Germany who fought well and advance to the finals.

We can't resist it, we can only do what we want. Although gambling is banned in some countries, but see many who play gambling games very easily through their smartphones. The law does prohibit it, but it's just a piece of writing that doesn't mean it will deny them to play. The gambling industry is one of the biggest industries today and the technology is constantly evolving. There is a lot of easy access that can be reached, with applications that are camouflaged as games in general, but the game inside is gambling.
The world is advancing, the same thing applies to gambling, with just our smart phones, we ought to know the specific time appropriate for our gambling activities. At the same time, we ought to be extremely careful when dealing with system because it's table risky level. Gambling is broad and there are numerous sectors we have to take crucial notes about. Gambling have been into existence since day one, and we can't resist it, rather we should look forward to adjusting our time and also having some spare time where we would make statistical analysis on data.

Indeed, it's really advancing and keep on adopting whatever the technology is bringing, gambling industry is a huge business that we really can easily access by means of the internet.

Though some still love the old fashion ways but more and more are adopting what the new generations
are offering, with the internet all you need is your devices that can operate and you are good to go.
Not hard and in some ban locations, they still trying to use alternatives just to play and risking their
money together with their freedom, in case they've been caught playing.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Typical scenario when you are losing on: September 07, 2023, 08:17:31 PM
It is important to take notice of our emotions and how they affect the decisions that we take, when people are emotional they take all kind of decisions which deep down they know are a mistake, but at the time they do not think about it as they are fixated on getting their way no matter what, however once they calm down they realize their mistakes and now instead of just moving on and accept them they want to correct them, which leads them through another round of losses.
If they can realize their mistakes, it is time to stop gambling without thinking about previous losses. If we want to recover from losses, it will definitely be difficult because we will face more losses. And it's really good if they can calm down, especially after experiencing many losses, to reduce their emotions due to their loss. And immediately forget about the loss and don't remember it because it will only make us sad and there is a possibility that we will want to keep trying to recover.

Chasing your losses can lead you to addiction, practically speaking chances of winning back will take place but because of greed inside
instead of quitting after winning back,

The chance of pushing or continuing to play for more will take place, thinking that you can win more
and you may have something decent before quitting, and that's something that will lead you to keep
trying for more.

There are many gamblers who at some point became addicted gamblers and have been able to recover from it. I myself have had experiences where I was able to realize something after losing a big assets. Because I was dreaming of realizing big dreams from gambling which at one stage taught me that gambling platform is not a place to realize dreams.

With having loss or gain one should get pleasure. When I saw that if I had invested or deposited the money which I lost every month, I would have saved a lot of money today. After learning this education I have been able to control my gambling. I still gamble but with full of control.

For sure, there are many people got that same sentiment as yours. After losing huge, realize that there's a big problem when you already become addicted to gambling.

You will just notice those realizations when you already experienced something like that, good for you that you manage
to change your mindset though gambling still exists, but dreaming big out from gambling, chances that you will chase
for something big that can lead you to lose more.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: September 07, 2023, 05:23:50 PM
I am aware that in some regions, gambling are illegal and anyone that tend to promote gambling can be prosecuted for breaching the law. It is very important for us that are gamblers and can not do without gambling to always check the regions we intend to do our vacations so that we can know if the place support gambling activities or not for our own safety and adventure. I have been to a region before where gambling is prohibited and even influencers are ban from promoting any gambling activities backed by the local laws.
Maybe it happened in some areas because the local government did not want to see an increase in the number of people who would get into trouble with gambling so they would seek and sue them for breaking the law. But when it comes to the internet, where everything can be accessed easily even if they come from a country where gambling is prohibited, they can easily find gambling advertisements and immediately visit the casino. So it's normal if the area prohibits gambling or anything related to gambling and will be subject to sanctions by local regulators if they still don't want to comply with the regulations.

Yes, it's better to have that reference to avoid any possible problem when you are inside the place where gambling is not supported.

It's also for your protection, since that kind of place does exist. They don't want anything related to gambling
and even you are an influencer you are not exempted from that law.

Though the gambling industry is not a small anymore and with the help of the internet, it will continue to grow.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Solana hit $40 this year? on: September 07, 2023, 10:36:07 AM
Solana may not worth buying as many new alternative is already rulling the crypto market. Recently i see a good news where visa announcement of utilizing solana, which can make solana price drive in positive way but not that much conversing for investment. Many months have passed away but you can see solana price is still same and i think $40 will be a long journey for solana to be happened within this year

Maybe not this year yet, but once the raging bull start to pump back, I'm positive that Sol will be one of those assets that will
bring a decent pump.

So far still in the situation where the value is still not moving that much, but if you trust this project, I'm sure you will be
able keep buying and holding your coin, there's still good potential to make this coin reached such target, though
it will going to depend on how you analyze and understand your investment.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: September 06, 2023, 09:30:47 PM
I agree with the first point. that's really necessary. Even some influencers who are really rich say that rich people are actually people who buy things they use, not just for prestige. that is their principle when they become rich. I also try to follow this style to save more on expenses.

Valuing money over your luxurious way of life will affect you in terms of your financial capabilities, if you can control and manage
your finances the right way.

It's more on how you see the possibilities, if you have that chance to buy what you need and not what you
want, it will develop good control over yourself, more on self-will and good managements of your self
control, very usable to give you a better life in terms of financial capabilities.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 06, 2023, 09:19:25 PM

One of the things that most excites me about this boxer is that he is when it comes to challenges, rematches, and above all when there is a belt or something similar, well, he assumes it and prepares himself with more intensity, perhaps the fact of being a A very disciplined person and that is what marks him out compared to others, I want to see this fight and see what kind of strategy Tapales will use, but where I went, my strategy was to be on the defensive, make him get tired and counterattack, because the truth is I can't think of any strategy against him, because he really is a boxer who can quickly read the other boxer's plan, and I think that is also the intelligence he uses, and that is quite difficult for some, For me, boxing is 80% intelligence and 20% effort with the body, however, what you train the most is your body to resist the blows that you are going to receive.

It is the advantage of Inoue. He anticipates his opponent's strategy and adjusts things at the right timing.

If he sees that he can absorb his opponent's attack, then expect him to be more aggressive. I used to remember the first fight against
Donaire where after being almost taken down.

When he manages to get up and compose his self, that the time he really become aggressive and really attacks the most, then
he earned that fight a win.
The first fight against Donaire, it was the last time that we have seen Inoue almost lost the fight. It was a hard fought give and take and he absorbs all what Donaire can bring to the point that he suffered a broken orbital bone and yet he pushes for the fight and win it.

But there are fans or even boxers who thought that Inoue lost that fight. If I'm not mistaken, Roy Jones Jr was one of them. I remember as well though, that Jone is a big fan of Donaire so he might be biased on that.

I think that is why a rematch has took place and that is to end all the issues once and for all, eventually, it was a 2-0 in favor of Inoue and Donaire haven't even had the chance to rally back and regain a momentum because he didn't anticipated the fact that he will face a much stronger and unpredictable Inoue who finished their fight in just like a whim. Although years have passed before their rematch but it's all the same to me, Donaire's good but his years are already over.

Legit, Donaire, is good. Maybe if they met during his prime, the winning chance of Donaire is far better, but in that rematch
we all witness that Inoue already ignoring Donaire's strength.

He continually attacks and takes that counter and he didn't stop till Donaire kisses the floor and lost the fight,
that's how Inoue fight. Once he already understands his opponents, he will not hesitate to keep attacking and
throwing solid punches.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: September 06, 2023, 09:03:54 PM

I intend to punish those addicted to gambling who act against ethics, affecting society and even family members. They can do anything to gamble. They will steal or cheat to get money to gamble. They even kidnap and extort money. They stop at nothing to get money to gamble. I need really heavy legislation for people like that. Even their relatives punish them to prevent addicts like them from becoming criminals.

It is difficult what you are saying because the death penalty also doesn't keep people from killing others and get sentenced to death for murder.

I think if someone is willing to lose it all and even risk everything from someone else, including the health and wealth of others, they are probably so fucked up mentally that they need medical help and therapy at least in combination with legal consequences like jail or other punishments. The file isn't closed when you just send them to prison although that also helps sometimes.

Good point, not because there's strong punishment means those addicted people will stop. If the addiction already pollutes their minds,
it's hard to predict things that they can do.

I agree that more deep sanctions for people who are involved in addiction to be punished, they should
not be allowed to reason their addiction and justify what they've done. Better to send them to prisons or
rehab, since they are not doing anything right anymore.

Well, harsh punishment doesn't stop them, either. But we need laws to protect those around us. We cannot let them roam outside the law. Please put them in jail and be strict with those who commit too serious crimes. Be tolerant of those who know their mistakes but still maintain some morality. Get psychological treatment and help them overcome their addiction.
And the final punishment they will have to suffer if they do not know how to correct their mistakes. That's loneliness. No one will want to be near them, including relatives.

They needed that kind of treatment since even they know what the consequence of the act they made, they are still willing to do it.

With harsh punishment that will give law, a hard claw in terms of those gambling addicted
crimes, it will help those people who are affected, not only the gambler itself, but those
people behind him, people that are affected by the crime he made.

I saw TMZ reporting over the holiday weekend that Draymond Green slapped a bartender at a Los Angeles restaurant after the bartender had some nasty comments to say to LeBron James. This resulted in Draymond being arrested (allegedly?). I haven’t seen this making the news rounds so maybe it isn’t true? If it is true, I wonder if Draymond will be starting the year suspended.
Several articles say that it was just false but if this has happened. He shouldn't just slap anyone out of nowhere if he hears something bad about anyone in the league except himself.

And if the fact that he's arrested, he can always settle that with the money that he got.  So, that's the solution, a talk and a settlement and probably an apology would be enough already for that person he slapped.

Still waiting for some valid and accurate source about it.

With money, it's easy to cover and negotiate, not unless the person involves got something behind or also capable of sucking more from
