But I don't think Bitcointalk is a suitable platform for "gaming" discussion as in online gaming. One, almost no gamers visit this site. Two, there is no chat or streaming capability. Who's gonna build a live chat in PHP of all languages? (Not Facebook, that's for sure.) So I think that it would be better to actually just use something like Discord for that sort of thing.
Considering "not suitable", you can put almost anything in this category. It's a forum and anything can be discussed as long as there is a board for it. Adding a gaming board is not going to make Bitcointalk great again but it will give a scope for gammer to build their own community like we have gambling community, altcoin community. |

We've been there. It's impossible to stop fraudulent traffic when you don't change the way the site operates. We were criticized when we changed the hourly roll to a daily roll but that's what saved our faucets. If you want to overcome this fraudulent activity (and don't end up like freedoge.co.in had to shut down) you need to start changing your business model. First of all paying 3 sats at minimum roll is a pure suicide and doing it on a hourly basis is a disaster waiting to happen. Change your business model first, then worry about how to stop the remaining fraudulent activity. The change itself will deter fraudsters from draining your Bitcoin reserves. Hopefully TheQuin and their partners are reading it. It's not always easy to make such decisions when you are too comfortable with years long site operation but at some point a massive chance is needed for longevity of a project. If someone is willing to spend months communicating with a binance and investigating + evidence that they are scammers, so that their addresses are blocked, then something may come out.
But no one really knows how to do it correctly or does not want to waste their time on it.

OP, when you don't want a board or sub-board to see then go to profile - Ignore Boards Preferences - press Ctrl+F [windows] to find the board or subboard name - mark check - press the button "Change profile". The board will disappear from your eyesight. You will not even see any topic or post from that board because it is ignored from you.
