81  Economy / Services / Re: 0.01 btc for editing antibot script on: February 13, 2016, 01:27:25 PM
nah, it was rather easy.

the biggest problem is that https://github.com/destinybogan/Faucet-Builder this script is rather weird 90's PHP style mess
but it's not completely horrible, can be worked with

0.01 BTC is not enough for such work ofc, but I'm bored

so where do I send result?

UPDATE: email sent.

feel free to ask any followup questions.

85  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: new site for my friend (i'm not owner) 50 satoshi every 0 minutes on: February 13, 2016, 01:09:42 AM
very nice faucet.

increasing the reward to 60 or 70 satoshi would make it most popular among aggressive claimers.
86  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Loyni's Faucet, 250 satoshi every hour! on: January 30, 2016, 09:18:24 AM
Thanks, nice one.

Feel free to add more ads Smiley
87  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Good faucet!! 10000 satoshi every 40 min on: January 30, 2016, 09:01:30 AM
Great, another faucet that tells me to f*ck myself for using a proxy... I use a proxy out of necessity, as I am out of my country and need to get results in google search as if I were in my country. Am I a scammer because of that? I understand you are in your right to not allow proxies, but please do not insult those who use it. Not everyone using a proxy is a scammer.

It's even better for me. Not using any proxy at all.

So sweet and polite to tell users to f*ck themselves.
88  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: I've given up on Moon Bitcoin on: January 09, 2016, 04:13:20 PM
I don't think that you got how it works.
First, you make an account and from that moment you will start earning satoshi with a different rates based on your claims.
More you claim and more you will earn because if you dont claim for some hours your rate will be lower.
You can check current rates from the site's faq like every other thing about how it works.
They pay you every week at saturday or sunday.
Also take in mind that different faucets work in different ways.

I would like to add, that moonbit.co.in is the odd one in the bunch. most faucets work differently, and moonbitcoin has pretty unique system.

usually, you just enter your address, (+solve captcha), click "claim" and receive some satoshi to some middle-man wallet (faucetbox, xapo, etc).
89  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: January 09, 2016, 03:20:14 PM
can we maybe make a centralized service similar to nastyhosts where faucet owners submit bad IPs and other faucet owners can query for it?

it will have problems like false positives, but if we weight it out with more respectable/trusted inputs, I think it can work rather well

But it will only check against "flagged" IPs.

I have been thinking about the opposite. Something like a members only faucet. IP and wallet will be checked at sign up and at every claim ever after. It would allow the faucet to "bind" a wallet to the ISP of the user.

yes, but at least the "flagged" IPs coverage will be greater if all faucet owners combine their resources instead of doing it individually.

also, we can do both!

we can have whitelist and blacklist, and faucet owner can then choose to be super strict (only IPs from white list) or be accepting of all IPs except the ones from the blacklist.

edit: let's pull our resources together! Smiley

Guys, it's irrelevant if captchas can by solved automatically or not. Current protections (captcha, timer per IP address) can be bypassed one way or another, it doesn't really matter how. The only thing that changes is whether we can call abusers bots, human-assisted scripts or rotators with built-in proxy switcher. The effect is the same: drained faucets, and there's only one solution: checking IP addresses.

to this I agree completely.

sorry for flames.

It looks as if I owe Moonbitcoin an apology. They did update my Satoshi awards at a far better rate, and it looks as if it was in accordance with the promise on the site. They have also sent me a payment without any prompting or chasing.

I still don't understand the business model. I seemed to earn more by not visiting the site, than I got by visiting the site. This seems to be the opposite of what I would have expected. The earnings rate is pretty low, so I don't think I wil lbother with any other faucets.

well, it's all quite simple really.

faucets earn by ads, right?

different ad companies pay for different stats. for example, some companies pay for "total number of views". for such ads, most profitable faucets are those they make you click every second (100 satoshi/5 minutes).

some companies pay for "1 unique visitor per day". for such ads, most profitable faucets are those that you visit once or twice per day. (1000satoshi/12 hours)

I'm not replying to these messages anymore because it is a total waste of time.

no one is going to post such script because it's making them money.

I can tell you the algorithm, though...

"Type the letters" = OCR
"Find woman/rotate animal" = Computer vision
"Listen to those sounds" = Voice recognition
"reCaptcha neural net" = reCaptcha solving neural net

tech. on the left side of the table is being developed by private companies. tech on right side of the table is developed world-wide, in academic, commercial, open-source, hacker, etc environments.

but feel free to believe whatever you want.

Sure, I'll accept this answer as being true. Now again, show me proof. Show it to me. You can't. Again, sorry.

OCR = Hard to do when the characters are distorted, rotated, blurred, ...
"Find woman/rotate animal" = True. Have you seen the head images? They are NEVER thesame. They are of 3D heads; They always have a different angle of view, size, color, sharpness... They are never thesame. Try printscreening some of them and compare them. Same with the animals. Never thesame. Oh, I forgot mirrored.

"Listen to those sounds" = Not all words are clear. High fail rate in this.

"reCaptcha neural net" = Yeah sure. Services offering to solve them.

Show it to me.

not all words are clear/not all sounds are clear = that is called noise reduction and is the first step in every decent OCR/voice recognition system.

I told you I'm not going to "show" anything to you. my mission here is to warn people, not to make them feel safe in their imaginary castles.

you should read up about how recaptcha works (it's a neural net, trained by our input). if you believe that it's impossible to train another net with the same input, OK, more power to you.

Edit: and if you ask the captcha providers themselves, they'll tell you it's not about drawing a fine line between human/machine. it's about A RATIO of successful testing. the ratio changes in bot's favor as soon as captcha providers stop providing new challenges.

AND IT CAN NOT bypass the captchas, wether it is FunCaptcha, Recaptcha, ...[/b] If you are reading this and you are not agreeing; Again and again: SHOW ME PROOF. I have years and years of experience in programming. It can not be done. Show me proof, I'm begging you, please. I will pay you for it.

I keep spotting and reading about new faucet owners with less or no programming knowledge who believe that "bots" are bypassing their captchas etc. Come on people, you really believe this?

Bots can't do it. It's simple. The answer is on this forum. The "bots" are actual people solving the captchas.

no, it's very simple to bypass most captchas using little to moderate programming skill. sorry.

thanks, bookmarked.

Ah! Thnks for posting that. I claimed, andit immediately gave me a count of 6. I think they could explain that you need to claim even if you are asking for payment to be sent directly to your own wallet.

np. it might be confusing if you never used faucets before, but "where is the claim button and how often can I click it" is what's on everyone's mind when using a faucet. hope you get to your 5500 in no time now Smiley
98  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: I've given up on Moon Bitcoin on: January 07, 2016, 10:26:38 AM
As far as I know, there isonly one claim amount, and its title is "current claim amount". It's been at 2475 all morning, and it was around 2530 yesterday.

OK, I understand now Smiley

you've been playing it wrong. find the claim button and press it. you'll get 2475 to your balance, and the timer will start filling up again.
99  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: I've given up on Moon Bitcoin on: January 07, 2016, 09:52:48 AM
I'm in England (we used to be a rich country Smiley )

I ws at 2530, and when I visited the next day, it had dropped to 2470. It takes away 5 points fairly regularly, and then adds them again shortly afterwards. I'm on Windows 10 - do you think Microsoft is messing with my linking? (maybe they need my Satoshi now that they seem to be out of favour again Smiley ).

ok let me get this straight: are you talking about your overall balance or the "next claim is going to be" number?

after farmsatoshi I'm not going to play any of their games, no matter how pretty the design is. those people don't have my trust AT ALL.
