I figured out a way to resolve this myself I think.  Just waiting on the rest of the confirmations on the withdraw.

Thanks for the information and you worded it so much better than I could have.  You explained what I wanted to explain to other new bitcoin users.

That being said, I have not withdrawn the complete balance from my bc-casino account yet because I was afraid of exactly what you described below.  I withdrew 1BTC to test last night and see if somehow it would make it back to my wallet and it did not (the transaction completed and it went to the address at bitstamp that isn't me so bc-casino did what it was supposed to do).  I still have the remaining balance in my bc-casino account minnus the 1BTC (bitstamp can keep that one...) and that is what I'm worried about.

I'm just hoping that bc-casino will help me out and offer an alternative method to withdraw the remaining funds like you mention below.

So I thought I knew how my wallet at bitstamp.net worked because I've been using the same address to deposit funds into that account since I started using bitcoins.   I did not.  I'm hoping bc-casino can help me since they are part of the bitcointalk forums so I'm posting the contents of the message I sent to their support department here as well.  What I sent is below:

I've enjoyed playing at your casino since I first started using bitcoins around a month or two ago.  I've made numerous deposits during that time (>10 I believe although I can't check from work) and they have all been from the same account at bitstamp.net.   I saw the note about making sure I can receive coins back to the address I sent from and I've always thought I could do that and was doing that (I've withdrawn from bitcoingamer, bitzino, dragon tales....now I understand how the withdrawals were getting to me at those places, I was giving them an address to send to) but I actually can't receive payments back to the same address I've sent from when using bitstamp.net (which is the only wallet I've had since starting the bitcoin thing).

So I finally have a good streak playing at bc-casino and when I go to withdrawal I see a completely different address than the one I think I've been using this entire time:
XXXX

When I was expecting to see:
XXXX2

I panic and start taking screenshots of everything so I can ask about it on bitcointalk (where I found bc-casino as a recommended place to play).  I have images of the balance in the casino software, the balance on the webpage, the transaction history from the webpage with all confirmed deposits and me logged in, etc (if you would like to see them or need them).  I feel ill but I finally realize that I didn't understand how the addresses work from places like bitstamp.  I sent a test withdrawal of 1btc last night thinking maybe somehow it would show up...but it has not of course.

Is there any way you can help me get my winnings back to me?  I'm posting the same information from above to the bitcointalk forums and I want to help explain to the newbies like me how the wallet thing works so no one else misunderstands the process like I have been.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks you,

Edit here:   The BTC transfer did work fine and came through at 47 hours 30 minutes.  Their service seems to work great.  I was just frustrated not knowing about the 48 possible wait time.

I attempted this last night and it worked I guess but they say it takes 48 hours to do some things "manually" before the bitcoins will be sent to the address provided.  I wouldn't have used this if I would have known I wouldn't get the bitcoins until days later.

Someone was asking if bitstamp.net was down.  I found an article saying they were intentionally getting hit so I made an account to share.
