Just donated 10% of my holdings to the foundation.

Also, Its really sad to see that cryptonight has stolen roughly $34,000 from supporters of IOTA. Hope you guys learned, just sorry it was on this project ;( Hopefully some justice will be served in the end.

People must be smoking good kush in here if you think we 'stole' their logo. I don't even think I've ever seen that logo before. The IOTA logo is the Tangle structure seen from infront. Imagine that you cut a rope/tangle/braid in half and then look at it from the front, that's what the IOTA logo represents; tangle growing toward you. Secondly the amount 'large strands' are 3 = trinary which are made up of further 9 smaller strands = IOTA is 9th letter, you may have noticed the importance of 9 several times in IOTA. So no, we have not 'stolen' anyone's logo.

But we stole rope image, didn't we? Probably we should put some amount aside for civil suits from rope manufacturers...

It's called a cross-section guys.

Hi David,

Will this be the first stable version? No risk of roll back?

I'd like to know this as well since I have several trades set up through escrow and would like to donate to the foundation once I receive them! Thanks for keeping us up to date guys. Hope everything goes smooth!
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: June 03, 2016, 12:39:33 PM
I currently have 3 purchases of IOTA in escrow awaiting a usable GUI. I will donate 10% of that amount to the foundation.

Can i send btc from poloniex or not?

I did it from polo and went thru.
I too, the transaction got 34 confirmations and have no waves yet.
How much confirmations are needed?

WAVES ICO said after 2 confirmations, but they're obviously having massive issues.

So far in this thread, I have the highest amount of confirmations at 69 now.

I'm sitting at 34 confirmations. Sent BTC from my Polo account. Still no Waves in my account... Will update when I've recieved my ICO purchase.
89  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitfury: "16nm... sales to public start shortly" on: April 08, 2016, 03:47:35 PM
just a predication but could be we won't see 14/16 nm gear until halving on public sale because it's too profitable for them to mine for themselve before the date and afterwards they will release it to public overpriced.

1. mine privately with 14/16 nm until July 2016
2. sell overpriced 14/16 nm gear to public after July 2016
3. Huh
4. PROFIT!!

is the human nature just as this greedy scumbag, lord?

No, It's just the nature of a businessman. Profit is king and most corps could care less how they get there anymore.

I usually use 8 GPU in a system. 4x7990 + 4x other GPUs. AMD allow up to 8 GPU in the Windows sytem. So I use 8.

Most people don't like using the 7990s becuase they are pretty finicky and a pain to keep cool. I haven't had too much problem with mine after a pretty big underclock. I had one GPU go out on me while the other worked, and I had some problems with another one constantly crashing my system. I'd rather just run (5) 280Xs with no system downtime. Hey if you actually got 4x7990s running with no issues, more power to you. Your rig is like what 2100 watts?

I have 4x7990+4x7970. I undervolt and underclock them a lot. 950mv, 850/1500 MHz, the power is about 1330 and hah rate = 156 MH/s.

I have similar configurations. The hash rate is just 149 MH/s. So the DAG file size has reduced the hash rate by 3%.

What are you guys using to undervolt your 7990s? Just looked at mine and realized they werent actually changing from stock speeds. This may help me keep them running 24/7 since i still get the occasional crash form my 7990.

Kotarius, I need a little help.

It is very difficult to help set up over email/skype/forms, but I will do my best.

This is all done automatically in the background. All ethOS commands are visible when you login, or if you run helpme.

This should be plenty to get me started. Maybe you guys should make it a little easier to find all this info. I could have easily overlooked the link to this somewhere though. Maybe add a link to the setup steps on the GPUshack page. Anyways thanks for the help, I'll work on this tonight.

Kotarius, I need a little help.

I recently purchased a SSD with EthOS on it from you guys at gpushack. Some questions:

1)I have no idea what i'm doing in Linux. What commands do i need to do to get going?
When I try to change directory to /home/ethos/local it says it does not exist.

2) How do i set my pool up to work at dwarfpool?

3) I tried the typical command line of ethminer -G -M and there is the JSON problem how do I generate the DAG?

Been trying to get this running for a few hours to no avail. Any helpo would be appreciated. Also thanks for the 6 cards I've purchased from you guys. You even threw in an extra high speed fan in my last order. I'm assuming because the zipties holding on the original were brittle and breaking. Thanks for the help!

I'm looking into the Tesla Powerwall batteries for my 21kw system.

If you are talking about the wall mounted space age looking ones..I have buddies who have batteries for solar farms
and if I remember right a current 'ugly' set of such you can get twice the capacity for 1/2 the $$$

(but they don't hang on the wall and are kinda ugly)

same stuff thou if I remember the convo

just a thought so do your research

as to the feasibility of your plan I leave that to others..the above just 'jog'd' my memory of this coming up in chat with some folk

on the release of this wall mounted battery device by tesla at least what you supposedly can get bang for your buck equivlent

good luck whichever

Agreed. In a house (which doesn't move around much) there is no better bang for the buck than either a T105 or L16 based bank.

That said I run 12-370's and 12-400's in my shed because I was too lazy to build a battery box to vent them properly. Don't be like me.

I'm just going to leave this here....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bk50IuWXg-c

Last price on NXT Asset exchange is 3.4 NXT  Shocked

https://nxtportal.org/assets/10966270007977442520

Maybe it's because of declining NXT price?

CFB, If I sent an NXT asset to poloniex NXT address by mistake is it gone forever? In this case the asset was BBIOTA from nxtcrowd.fund Sad I've contacted polo support but nothing yet. I've also been in contact with the seller I got it from @blackyblack1 and he's been very willing to help any way he can. I'm afraid the asset is gone forever. Any advice on how to handle it?

Hi Come-From-Beyond and Yassin
i want to buy at least for 1.5 btc , please could you explain with details how to do ?
thanks
Hi, you can buy some IOTA (Alia BBIOTA) here http://nxtcrowd.fund/  Wink

or you can download wallet nxt here https://nxt.org/  or you have this (not need donwload blockchain) http://nxt.coinomat.com:7876/index.html#  Tongue

and you have all detail seller here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1360660.0  Smiley

Ps: your password is your account NXT, if you lose your pasword, you lose your account NXT

Can you explain to me how this works? Does the NXT wallet address have to be a cold wallet or can I send it to my NXT exchange address? I bought about .75 btc worth of BBIOTA yesterday from nxtcrowd.fund and I'm worried that i won't be able to get my IOTA since I used my exchange address ;(

Hey guys, I need some help.

I've got two rigs for mining right now and one is running pretty solid with a 7990 and two 7950s. My problem is that my second rig I'm trying to get going is being very fussy.

Rig 2 only has two Saphhire Radeon 280Xs for it right now but I can't for the life of my get it to run ethminer without crashing.

When I run ethminer it instantly crashes after creating the DAG and the error is always an appcrash with reference to msvcr110.dll not working properly. Here's some things I've tried to no success:

Uninstalled and reinstalled all redistributables
Tried newest catalyst drivers as well as the older ones that came on a CD with my cards (brand new from GPUShack)
Tried both Crossfire enabled/disabled. Tried one card by iteself.
Updated all BIOS on my motherboard as well as the whole system's drivers
Fresh install of Win 7 64 bit
Brand new EVGA 1000 PSU (eco mode on and off)

I also cannot get the blockchain to sync in Geth...ever.

Has anyone ever ran into this msvcr110.dll issue before how did you fix it? This thing has me at my wits end, need some help from the pros. Thanks guys.
