So, these new q-addresses, I can use them instead of the 1-addresses, right? Even from exchanges?

hi guys.. anyone have any suggestions on getting a wallet to sync?

<SNIP>...

How are people getting this wallet to sync?

Thanks so much if someone can help.  Huh

Maybe someone can post an addnode .conf file that is working?

I get it to sync with this, albeit slowly and in bits, now and then, not a steady stream.
Code:
listen=1
#daemon=1
#server=1
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=somethingdifficultorimpossibletoguessnumbersandothersignstoo
rpcport=5557

If you move funds from say wallet 1 to wallet 2 they should reset the stake however you will have to wait for them to mature again also folks im still here i have been having some computer issues as of late here losing all my linux dev based os so i got parts in yesturday getting everythhing back up and running sorry it is taking longer than expected
Yeah, you and me both, I've had 2 disks slightly fail, my linux SATA and my main Windows machine, lappy.  Undecided I did however have sort of the linux in older iterations spread out over 2-3 older PATA disks, so I can get 90% back, but now I'm installing Debian anew. The 9-something.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DGC] DigitalCoin | Multi-algorithm Cryptocurrency Founded in 2013. on: January 03, 2018, 03:42:57 PM
hi ...thanx for replying... DGC was the first coin I mined back in 2014 with a GPU with 11x algo (GPUs could still mine x11 @ a profit back then....) i don't own any ASIC machines... I guess its not to much trouble to mine GPU coins and trade for DGC ...I kinda miss mining DGC &  I think it could benefit DGC.. If distribution is spread to a bigger group of miners

glad to see DGC is making comeback , Im buying!!! & Happy New Year to you all Smiley
Happy New Year!!! DGC was one of the first coin besides LTC I mined in Spring 2013, I even mined a solo-block that same year. Tongue

Nice to see Barry back at the helm. Smiley

I get two nodes, but it doesn't sync. How about you guys?

Can you give some more detail on what the problem is? At this point my client has 1492961 blocks and the last block (PoS) was minted 12 mins ago.

on my to do list sorry if you would like me to upload somewhere else or if you want head to the growthcoin website and if you click the current block button it will allow you to download  the current bootstrap I understand if you wanna find the current wallet I honestlu don't remember where I got it from I swear it's clean but I understand if you don't download was just trying to help you out.
The current bootstrap is old, I provided a snapshot of a recent one, and the newest wallet 1.3.0.1 is available on github: https://github.com/iamunick/growthcoin/releases

That's several years old.

I was talking about a brand new, updated with the latest bitcoin core code from 2017.

Is anyone working on a v1.4? With new BTC 0.15 core and 64 bit perhaps? Would be nice to have.

That did it!  Thanks for posting the archive.

When staking, I noticed that instead of splitting the staked block it created a new one that was larger than the previous block.  Do you by chance know what the split block threshold is for this coin?

Thanks again.
NP, Merry Xmas Wink I have no idea, I usually keep mine in plenty stacks that wont cause too many small, nor too few big blocks.

Wow, this wallet is the pits.  I am trying to get it up and running on another box.  It has been loading the bootstrap for 24 hours from the growthco.in site...  I only seem to have one connection as well...  Undecided
Did you try my blockchain archive? I'll get some nodes up here. Updated!

Nodes, from "getpeerinfo".

If anyone needs the current blockchain, here is a .7z snapshot of it from yesterday (21th Dec), in 4 files.

I gave away some GRW to someone I know. I would like to see a new wallet based on the BTC core, 0.15, or something.
96  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: blockchain.info -> Electrum on: December 15, 2017, 01:01:41 PM
That worked like a charm, thank you!. First time, it fell on the derivation, the https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ page told me to use another one. Stupid of me.  Undecided
97  Bitcoin / Electrum / blockchain.info -> Electrum on: December 15, 2017, 03:53:40 AM
Hi, is there a guide or thread about getting the key out of the blockchain wallet and making a new wallet in Electrum and importing it? I can only find a 12 word seed on blockchain.info atm, no base58 uncompressed or compressed key/keys.

I'm helping a friend to migrate from Blockchain into Electrum, if possible.

Thanks.

I also am gonna give you guys a little insight about the pow and pos and why I came up with these ideas

POW - To put it simply conformation times due to the nature of pos and people not needing to have their wallet online to stake conformation times suck like almost 2 hours to get 200 confs to be able to get grw to trade miners can help fix this the more transactions that can be processed the faster everyones conformation times will be

The growing reward capped at 30 yes it seems high but almost all other pow/pos coins have the reward half so far that people stop mining it because its not profitable which leads to decline in prices and usage example sprouts, vector, hyperstake ect. a growing halving should slowely gain traction with miners and make it worth while for them to put hashing power towards GRW

POS -  The current problem is that there are more coins generated than there are people to buy them also with such a high inflation the value of grw will continue to hang where it is or allow for massive selloffs and pump and dumps to happen as a community we should want adoption creating something that can be so easily manipulated by the large stake holders against the people trying to get into the coin will most definitely kill the adoption of GRW Crypto is built on trust and having a high stake rate is inherently untrustworthy

Please feel free to weigh in on the subjects or propose something that maybe i haven't thought of also I will maintain transparency with the community throughout the development if you would like to donate to the development you can send here appreciated not required

5000 should stake.  Not sure about Raspbery.

it is more than 5000 dollars (
why so much?
Give me your GRW Address, I'll send you a few thousand. Smiley I used to solo-mine this coin in 2014.
