81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Profiting from BTC: just luck? on: March 15, 2024, 08:50:15 PM
for some yes, for others no so much.  A lot of people have no clue what bitcoin is and have made money from buying lower than they eventually sold from (or have).  That I would say is luck.

Should we call it luck if they have made investments intending to earn profits from it because they have heard it goes up in value over time? I don't think so. Even if they don't know much about it, they at least know the fact that Bitcoin has a volatile price and it can go up which can eventually earn them profit which I think is enough for them to stay out of the luck category.

When will you hold BTC until?"- Information I don't think anyone should share with each other.

I don't understand why you wouldn't want to share information about until when you would hold your Bitcoin.  Cheesy I think one should only not share details about their funds and how much they hold but giving a general idea about what you have planned would do no wrong.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still Dead? on: March 15, 2024, 08:30:16 PM
Already seen a thread like this before. I don't really understand why people think Bitcoin is dead, this ain't dead my friends. Not gonna happen in a million times, even the government cannot stop Bitcoin. If you are saying that bitcoin is dead because the market of BTC is falling, it is normal. The up and down is normal, just like any other coin in the market. Bitcoin do really need to be balance.

Bitcoin being between $60k to $70k is it being down? I don't know what's it being up is then. People who make such statements are those who don't follow the market very closely or follow it at all which is the reason why they feel this way or maybe they have hatred towards Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general which is why they are always trying to spread FUD.
However, someone reading such statements should evaluate the situation themselves and see whether what is being said has any logic in it or not, and this statement of Bitcoin being dead doesn't even need close evaluation because it is clearly not true and one know it very easily.
83  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading good for beginners? on: March 15, 2024, 07:52:05 PM
I believe the OP indirectly wants to know if it is risky for a beginner to trade. But there is not road to riches that there wont be any form of risk and sacrifice. There is always a start from a newbies and soon they will reach there. What should be more important is how will they be able to control their emotions during this growing stage. Of course there will be loss and wins which will cost them to either start over or fall down to some middle part.

First of all, though I understand your reference, trading is no road to riches and a lot of newbies often have this misconception thinking that they can earn a lot of money in no time from this industry which isn't true and people who manage to do that are either lucky or already have very high capital to begin with because the amount of profit you can make from this industry depends on how large your capital is.

Trading and newbies is an unending debate, however, the main discussion about it is that when a newbie gets into trading, their first step should be to acquire enough knowledge about the market so that they don't face problems when they involve finances.
84  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people mostly fail in trading on: March 15, 2024, 06:53:49 PM
Another thing that makes investor that day trade to fail in trading is when they start accepting huge sum of money from people thinking they can double the money or triple it. If they eventually loss in any trade the fear of holding someones money will put them into unnecessary pressure causing them lose more if care is not taken. In conclusion the reason why traders fail most times is greed.

One of the biggest mistakes of newbie investors is that they think there is more profit if you make more trades, and even though it does increase the potential profits if you make a higher number of trades, it also means more risk to manage, and if someone isn't experienced enough, they will barely be able to manage so many trades at once or in such a short time.

So it is important for new investors to understand that they aren't supposed to try and push their limits to make more trades because that will only increase the risk of them losing their capital if they make a wrong trade in between or if couldn't manage the trades properly because it is not as easy as one might think it is to manage multiple trades in a short period.

87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new meme coins with potential? on: March 15, 2024, 02:27:56 AM
Meme coins do indeed carry a considerable degree of risk, but they also present an opportunity for substantial gains if timed right, allowing room for potential exponential growth. I'm not familiar with PENG, but it seems promising to consider its potential within the Solana blockchain. I only recently saw trending meme coins on social media, like BONK and WIF, which caught attention and gained support from exchanges.

Meme coins, in general, are for people who have money that they can risk and afford to lose because as you said it, they carry a considerable degree of risk and due to that, one can lose their money in case the meme coin they have invested their money in doesn't manage to gain enough hype and investors in the market and ends up dying soon after it is launched.

So someone who has a limited budget, knows they can't gamble with their money, should never invest in meme coins just because they give an opportunity to the investors to earn substantial profits because that isn't guaranteed. You can't keep gambling just because there is a possibility for you to hit a jackpot no matter how tiny the chances of that happening are.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value on: March 15, 2024, 02:07:56 AM
If you join bounty then 90% altcoins you receive, will shitcoin or scam. And what can people do with those shitcoins or i don't know that how to use them cause most of the time, they won't bounce back. So better to sold instantly what most of hunters do. But sometime if you receive altcoins with low volume but you found potentiality in it, then its okey to hold it for better price after that altcoin being developed. That's what i thought about low cap altcoins

Do tokens that people get from bounties listed on exchanges by the time the tokens are distributed? I used to think that most of these tokens are not yet listed and people who get them from bounties will need to wait for a certain period before they can sell their tokens because the project teams would be working on the developments and everything when they are running the bounty campaigns to promote their projects.

You are right though that if one gets a bunch of tokens from a bounty and if that token is listed already, they should sell them immediately if they know the project has got no potential and their tokens might lose value instead of gaining.
89  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stay off any missed opportunity on: March 15, 2024, 01:50:38 AM
I don't know if here is the right place for this post,  but if it's not, please redirect it,.
For the short time I have been into this crypto industry, I have observed and experience many things, especially when trading the spot market, it's very important that you stay off any missed opportunity,  like if a coin has already rise to a very high figure, don't just try to look if you can salvage something out from that particular market, because the price of that particular asset  might collapse on you, you will be used to clear liquidity, so it's best you look for another opportunity, in another asset, than to try try to salvage something from the missed opportunity.

I know that most of us here might have experience such before, and have been used to clear liquidity in the past, but it's very important we learn from them, opportunities are countless in the crypto industry, what is required is just patience, just wait for another opportunity than to do anything that will make you lose money.

There is a specific term used for what you are trying to explain, it is called FOMO which stands for Fear Of Missing Out. When a person sees a cryptocurrency has gone very high and is still going, they know they have missed the opportunity to ride the wave but they think of making a quick entry followed by a quick exit with some profit, but when they make the entry, the cryptocurrency starts losing value because it is already overbought.
I have had a lot of such experiences as a newbie in the market, and I still remember how much money I used to lose because of FOMO in new and old tokens because I didn't know about all these things and I used to think that is how you earn money in trading.
90  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are your assets safe on Kraken?? on: March 15, 2024, 01:35:09 AM
Hi all.
I was about to make another deposit through Kraken app, as I was prompted to update the app.
I followed to an App Store to try and make sure it's the right App and all and before updating I started reading this App reviews.
To be honest I am a little concerned now, because there people saying in the reviews that their accounts were closed without any explanation for security reasons.

Could you please tell me what you think about it??

I really need to figure something out, because I haven't got a hard wallet yet. For a simple reason that I thought my money is safe on the exchange.

What is your opinion on the matter?

Are you funds in Bitcoin? If they are, why don't you use Electrum to store your Bitcoins until you get a hardware wallet? Electrum is an open-source, noncustodial Bitcoin wallet, there is no third-party involved when you are keeping your Bitcoin in Electrum, it is just you and the wallet because you are the only one holding the keys and everything to your wallet, so you wouldn't be worried about anything as long as your device is safe.

Keeping funds in an exchange is never recommended unless you use those funds for regular trading activities, but if you don't, you shouldn't keep them there because an exchange isn't a wallet and it serves a different purpose.
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price will you bitcoin holders sell if we have a major price spike? on: March 15, 2024, 01:17:25 AM
Well I think you are right about the number 100k. That number is such a high number and I think people will start to sell and take profits when it does go that high.  And now I do think it there is a good chance it does see that price this year.

Most holders wouldn't even wait that long in my opinion, and selling will start immediately as Bitcoin hits $90k because people who have bought Bitcoin when it was priced below $30k will surely take some profit when they see they are getting more than 2x of their initial investment which isn't a bad deal.

That being said, on a second thought, I think profit taking processes have already started because Bitcoin is already pretty high and some people might be taking profit even now thinking that the market might take a plunge from here and they will buy again after taking profit right now. Such people will miss out if the market doesn't go down significantly, but if it does, they will be on the brighter side for sure.
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: Im new here but Im old trader i keep eyes on Market. on: March 14, 2024, 11:44:53 PM
I keep eyes on market specially now everybody want to know what btc will do next.
There is also theories that 70k-75k price range btc will fall hard back to 30-40k , it seems for now impossible.
On this thread i start reporting my analyse daily i hope it helps Smiley
Btc today now price 69k-70k there fight with bulls and bears and WHALE activity what i see that whales are loading bags full now.
Off course many traders will sell to take profit now and many will fear and many will Open short positions but shorts will be liqutated the long orders power its stronger until next btc price target 75k +
I see btc price Will be in 1-2 days 73-75k easy.
I just bought btc eth and some altcoins right now the 69k price range strong support zone for btc.

As pointed out by others, I don't find any analysis in what you said but they are all general statements based on speculation and predictions without any proper analysis or data back up. What makes you say that there won't be a correction? Even if it wouldn't make the price of Bitcoin go as low as $40k or $30k, but a correction will surely hit the market very soon.
We can't expect the market to keep going up straight because if it keeps going up with the same pace, it will cross $200k in this bull run but that is barely going to happen because there will be ups and downs in the road.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe in savings or investment on: March 14, 2024, 07:56:29 PM
If someone save there money on some strong currency like bitcoin, Ethereum then this will be good but Fiat currency value decreasing day by day in every countrys so if someone save there money on fiat then they will loss the value of there savings day by day. so in this situation investment is a best way to protect your wealth.

What if one invests their savings in Bitcoin or Ethereum and after that, the price of the asset drops significantly? We know that happens because there are both, a bull run and a bear run, in a full market cycle. So if their savings that originally had a value of, let's say, $10k, would possibly drop by 70% and become $3k. Now, if they face an emergency situation in their life and need funds immediately, what will they do? Because they can't withdraw their funds from that investment because if they do that, they will lose $7k straightaway.
So the moral is, never invest your savings in a market that is highly unpredictable and volatile or you will possibly have your money stuck for god knows how long.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: Early exposure of children to wealth and investments on: March 14, 2024, 07:26:35 PM
Is it right to tell your children all the investment you've made even when they're not yet matured enough? If no, At what age should they start knowing about those investment?

No, it is not right, and children should be kept away from such things until they grow big enough to understand each and everything about money and finances and be able to manage businesses and investments of their parents.
Children can't handle complex matters or things, and if you get them into such things at an early age, chances are that they will lose focus on a lot of things that are important for them such as their education and it will also be an hurdle in their way for growing up with a good upbringing because children should be raised with good teachings and have good etiquettes about things they do, they shouldn't be put into monetary issues at such early ages.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have known Bitcoin and other currencies since 2014 on: March 14, 2024, 07:06:23 PM
I have known Bitcoin and other currencies since 2014, but I did not move a finger. I did not benefit from anything. I mean, I did not invest anything now. I am serious. I liked this forum a lot. A long time ago, I decided to start investing, even if it was a small amount, in some other currencies. Perhaps it would go up significantly and make profits. Perhaps I would. It is late, but the opportunity is always there. I know that many people suffer from what I suffer from. Many people now talk about Bitcoin, but I preceded them in knowing it by ten years. I want your advice for me. I have high hopes for digital currencies. What do you think?

I've been in the same boat as you, I came to know about Bitcoin when it was priced around $200 or something, and back then, I was a student so I didn't use to have a lot of money that I could invest, and honestly, I didn't know much about it, how it is used, where to store it, how to buy it, etc. I know that I could do more research and find everything out but I didn't have enough time or money back then.
So I can relate to you about that, however, there is nothing you can do about that and you should focus on the present now instead of living in the past. Bitcoin has already gone up very high by now, but you could make an entry earlier when it was below $30k if you have been around, or you could buy when it was $18k during the bear market. For now, you will surely need to wait, I believe.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to adopt the BTC program for your company? on: March 14, 2024, 06:46:00 PM
I'll never forget how I got a chance to sit down with the CEO of Xerox Ursula Burns to discuss an idea I had to cut costs and build a new line of business.  Bitcoin was at $2 and I was urging her to buy half a million BTC and empower me to launch a program to move our international transfers to the blockchain.  It would have paid for itself in the first month and would likely have set Xerox on a path to be one of the world's most valuable companies and leader in blockchain technology.  Why didn't she follow through with my plan and give me the opportunity?  She was dismissive because her next meeting was with Barack Obama to receive an award for being a black female CEO.  True story.

I don't blame her, honestly, considering how non-spread and unknown Bitcoin was when it was priced $2, no company would have been ready to do that unless the owner or the CEO has some personal interest in it and had been following up on its progress and updates even back then.
Maybe if I was in place of her, I would do the same because if you are suggesting something that I have no idea at all about, I would barely agree to continue with it.
However, if we talk about the current times, I don't think a company would refuse an offer like that because the performance of Bitcoin and its significance is not an hidden fact anymore.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Thriving in 2024: Should We Embrace More Crypto Fun? on: March 14, 2024, 04:56:41 PM
However, I can't help but feel like we need more meme mania in the crypto space! These meme-coins have proven they can captivate investors and enthusiasts. Imagine if more platforms and projects embraced memes, hosting contests and challenges for the ultimate meme maniacs. It could engage communities, spark creativity, and even discover the next big memecoin sensation.

So with this, I'd like to ask. Have you come across any meme contests lately?

What is a meme contest? I have never heard of this term before, we do see platforms holding trading contests from time to time, but I have never seen anything like this nor do I feel there is a need for it. Meme coins might be fun to be around but that fun is only for those who are earning profits from them, what about those who are losing money because of them?
We need to understand that not every meme coin investor manages to earn money because a lot of meme coins are not here to stay and only a few manage to gain enough hype and investments to have their prices go up and provide profits to their investors. Cry
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you continue to trust Trust Wallet? on: March 14, 2024, 02:52:23 PM
I would like to know your views on crypto wallets:
  • Are you using TrustWallet? Will you continue to trust TrustWallet?
  • Are you using other crypto wallet apps?
  • Is a hardware wallet really necessary for your crypto investment?

1. Not usually, but I do have it. When it comes to trust, I wouldn't mind having a couple of hundred dollars lying around in it, but when it comes to larger amounts, I would not store them in a wallet that doesn't allow me to have my private keys and everything.

2. I sometimes use MetaMask, but I don't always keep funds in it for security concerns as I have heard a lot of stories of people getting their wallets compromised or hacked.

3. Yes if the amount is significant. You don't need to buy a hardware wallet to store $100 or even $1k or $2k, but if you have invested a lot of money, you shouldn't keep them in a closed-source wallet.

I think the most difficult choice to predict any team for today match. Multan Sultan wins most matches in the contest and Peshawar Zalmi also just closed to Multan. If Peshawar have Player like Babar then Multan Sultan have also Rizwan who know to play till the last. Usman khan is most dangerous player in the Multan side. I am predicting Multan Sultan for today match although I like Peshawar team aslo but if any team loss they still have a chance to qualify.

First Qualifier match: Multan Sultan team vs Peshawar Zalmi team

Toss Win: Peshawar Zalmi
