81  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Class action lawsuit against Cryptsy.com on: January 17, 2016, 04:27:52 AM
What is happening with crypsy? Too many noise about them to be mtgox 2.0...

If you haven't noticed, it's already mtgox 2.0 CONFIRMED
they claim their btc were stolen, so basically insolvent
82  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cryptsy Legal Posibilities on: January 15, 2016, 04:46:16 AM
they now have there now blog post
http://blog.cryptsy.com/
and also a class action

when they ran into insolvency they still run the site without any notice to their customers
and they try to run the Ponzi scheme

I really don't think they can just get away with all these unethical business conduct even they file for Chapter 11

their current liabilities is about 10,000 BTC, given the current BTC value how many % of these liabilities can be recovered from their asset (if any) Cry Cry

their chat window seems off line now

Been with local stores lately and found no ATI Raedon R9 290x series there are 270x and it cost about $330 here. Sad

is GPU mining still profitable?
I haven't mined anything for about a year, got like 5 cards collecting dust in the basement
Winter is coming so I can use the heat and the electricity is about 5 cent here

But, I've been out of business for such a long time, need to do some catch up

is NVIDA mining faster than AMD now?

Must be worth a try and I mean its just 5 cents maybe trying it for a week and see which coins/script works for it.

Doing some catch up studies in the forum and will give it a try as bitcoin price is rocking recently, it might be profitable

Depends on the algorithm. If you have a Maxwell chip, they're far more power efficient though.

they are all old AMD 7950/70s,  i used to mine Scrypt coins till ASIC is out
I changed to X11 last year for about 2 days, and the good/bad thing is they don't generate enough heat in the winter Sad

Still doing my studies in the forum

could you please let me know the price in BTC? I am not sure which rate to use for the conversion
thanks.

I always just use preev.com since you can type a USD amount into it. I assume you are USA based?

preev for $70.00 = 0.2001BTC

Just sent the payment and I will PM you my address.

Anyone hijacked WITHOUT using CGwatcher or CGremote?

that will be me, first I see my CleverMining account has 0.00 speed registered and go to check my miners and notice that all my cgminers are pointing to these 190.xxx ip address,
and I don't know for how long they've been redirected. Sad

So I switch to ScryptGuild for now.

Just notice that my withdraw is pending for about 3 hours 20 minutes, actually this is my second attempt during the day, the first one is pending for about 4 hours, so it's about 8 hours and my withdraw is still pending Undecided
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: January 11, 2014, 02:15:01 AM
It looks like today is a new high of BTC balance.

with 4.4M hashing power I am getting about 0.035/day, can't complain.

I tried to switch manually according to CoinWarz profitability (switch coin till it drop out of top five) and I got similar result.
I guess it could be better if one doesn't need to sleep Grin

97  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: List a Powercolor 7970 on eBay - starts at $300 or $390 buy it now on: December 24, 2013, 04:55:26 PM
Grin, temp is ok for me, they are running@70C pulling 650K each @ 0.988v
I can only OC one of mine to do 700K,  the other one will just crash when RAM goes to 1800Hz
