81  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Small Wallets, large withdrawal fees - help ! on: April 20, 2021, 10:54:21 PM
First, it not that people can't keep their coins on exchange but they are advise not to keep their big holding on exchange
Second,  I am not use to the Gemini exchange but no crypto exchange site on earth will provide withdrawal for his user for free because they are not the miners and miners fee must be pay by the senders. Or are you relating to crypto to fiat currency withdrawal?

If you are going to make the withdrawal from Binance to Gemini you will have to pay the transaction fee
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is falling down. Is it the end for it? on: April 19, 2021, 12:08:55 PM
The last few months of solid growth have instilled confidence that Bitcoin is unstoppable. Each time Bitcoin updated its maximum and even managed to get close to the $60,000 mark. However, then its price fell sharply in a few days and for many investors it came as a shock… for some reason.
Bitcoin reach $63K price before the dump and the dump in price of the Bitcoin market does not stop Bitcoin from be an unstoppable crypto if you understand the volatility aspect of the crypto currency market. But, I read that the arbitrage trader switching to gold was the reason for the last bloody market we experienced

Is it really the end of the Bitcoin rally or it’s just a pause before another storm? Let’s try to figure it out.
No one can tell if this is the end of the Bitcoin market rally but the crypto market still follow the previous rally market trend it will be December before we see the end of the market rally.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BNB is at it's peak price? on: April 19, 2021, 11:18:24 AM
If I get it correct, than those BNB, that were distributed in 2017, Binance is planning to burn also (proof tweet ). What do you think about that? How do you think market will react?

On one hand this will decrease the circulating supply and should increase BNB price. Probably after that, so awaited $1000 will be reached. On the other, how they gonna compensate those BNB to people who still hold them? Will they rebuy them or simply will take away/burn?
If CZ plans was indeed to burn the whole 40% holding by the Binance team during the ICO, it will does help BNB gain more surge in price in the future but I can't burn all the 40% holding this year or two and he's (CZ) making a tweet about it now just to create hype.
Having said that, BNB can reach a $1000 price but it all depends on the Bitcoin market momentum.
84  Economy / Economics / Re: Janet Yellen to call for unified global corporate tax rate on: April 19, 2021, 10:11:03 AM
President Trump makes a wonderful decision by reducing the corporate tax to 21% and in the season when the pandemic has caused alot of damage there's a need for an increase of corporate tax but the 28% seems too big and I think 25% will still be fair.

I don't understand the rules and regulations the G20 nation use to operate but countries like Puerto Rico will suffer if they comply with the plan to increase global corporate tax and I don't think it will fair to them if they are forced to comply.

85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: April 18, 2021, 10:40:06 PM
From the first minute we saw that jake paul would take this match. Ben askren wasnt motivated at all or doing any damage
Lost to this youtuber is a shame even with a KO in the first round
Although Jake Paul did well by winning the fight through KO and I know the fight won't last long before it end right from the first 5 seconds of the fight but I was disappointed in both the fighters because they are fighting like kids even Ben who have fought professional fight couldn't prove himself.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: April 18, 2021, 10:08:34 PM
First I respect the referee for stopping the game after the first half but no matter the reason behind the obvious rigging of the basket ball game both the team involved and their officials absolutely disrespected the game of basket ball, they should be penalized and the big fish behind it.
They must be salute and Give rewards because they are the reason why this case being broadcasted and surely will be the basis of the investigation from now on.
Of course they will be reward and gain more trust around the world.

That's one positive thing with this scandal. The organizers were quick to noticed that the game was rigged or this something fishy about it. I may say that whoever had the intention of rigging the games did not succeed as the game was stopped.

As what i've said in my previous post (other thread), only one team knows that the game were to be rigged and the other just poorly handled the situation but still they are liable for their actions. Rigged games were supposed not to be played that way, very obvious and even the not so fan of basketball can notice the anomalies.
Yes, the game organizers did a wonderful job by spotting out that something is wrong somewhere about the game but the people that rigged the game are a gambler, they have already succeeded because in the gambling world some people bet on the activities they believe will happen in the first half of the game.

I think the reason why they play an obvious rigg game is because the people in charge of the game rigging are the one control the game.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos: Internal notifications, message inbox vs Email. on: April 18, 2021, 09:46:34 PM
I believe almost all casinos are guilty of this habit at some point (sending email about their promo and not sending email about TOS update) but there's a casino that offer sports betting which I withheld the name, I place a boxing game bet on there, never login for a long time and the fight is yet to happen but the last time I login there I don't see the bet I placed or the balance I had on there.

Can we know on what gambling site you've been talking? Also its bit unusual for someone to make out bets even if the game is still very long time for it to happen where
you can expect that you might really forgot that one but well losing all of your balance and lost bets are bit shady.
I have said it earlier that I'm going to mention the name of the sports betting site cause it will tarnish their reputation and no one complain about this issue before and after what happen to me i don't think mentioning name will be good and the last time I check it just a few dollar bet.

About TOS updates and emailing its users then in all the years ive been playing this stuff had never happened. They will simply secretly altered those things if they wanted to.
This will only happen if the sports bet you use are those that require email address for registrations or after.

90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 Best Cryptocurrencies To Invest in for 2021 on: April 17, 2021, 08:13:46 AM
I hope alot of people are aware that the Yahoo finance list of the best 10 cryptocurrencies to invest for this bullish market is not investment advise because they make the list footing their presumption, the slot hold by the coins on capital market and there daily volume. However, the Yahoo finance don't know the profundity thing to know for in a project before choose a crypto
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how Bitcoin will deal with lost tokens? on: April 17, 2021, 07:28:31 AM
What happens to all the coins in lost wallets in the Bitcoin system?

Nothing will happen to the coin, they will be among the total 21 million coins that will be ever mine but they will lose forever inside the wallet where they were sent to if the owner of the coin can't access the wallet.

If there are only a finite number of coins, won't they become increasingly scarce as people lose them over time?
That's a finite number of coins in the Bitcoin ecosystem already and the lose coins will help the pump in price of Bitcoin market.
This is the reason why some people believe if Satoshi accesses the Bitcoin in the genesis wallet it may affect the price of the Bitcoin market.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My first two ICOs will be Mina and ECO. Good idea? on: April 17, 2021, 06:46:12 AM
Just so you know, your plan about invest in ICO is terrible because we are in bullish market season and the best thing every cryptocurrency investors should do is to invest in long existing coins that are doing well in the market, have good market data, and real life product which will make it gain the attention of the crypto community in a long run. However, most of this newly created coin will only try to get the attention of investors for now and major investors won't dare to invest in it.
to do this when you are just starting, of course, it is more reliable, but in order to make money quickly and increase your bankroll for investing in the beginning, it is better to take a risk.
When an investor is still a newbie it reliable for him to invest in an existing coin but if he want to make a quick profit which will approximately increase his bankroll it better to invest in an altcoin? Please explain what you particular because altcoin investment is never for once a good investment for newbies and having the thought about making quick profits is what causes greedy in most newbies.
for example, he recommended to his friends who entered the crypto market to go not to BTC and eth, but to near, dot, kadena and so on. These tokens made a lot more xx than btc and so on.
Then you don't understand the intuition of the crypto market surge in price, you just see those coin market surge in price but in the realtime they are all lagging behind BTC and i will advise you not to be blind by the x256% surge in price.
This altcoin is highly manipulated and can dump in price just as they gain pump in price.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Simpsons predicted an endless Bitcoin price growth on: April 17, 2021, 12:43:15 AM
This is a joke and nothing more, do not take it seriously.
You from the angle that it all a joke, because the cartoon producer shoot the film series to make the viewer have some amusement or laughter watching the movies but I Simpson producer seems to be a crypto enthusiast or investors because an ordinary person couldn't understand the possible trend the Bitcoin market will pose.
If we look into the fact of the Simpson prediction I dont see it as a joke.

It should be understood, that you cannot immediately believe the coincidence that happened regarding The Simpsons. We all have to understand that all the things that happen now and have been filmed by The Simpson, do not mean this animation can see the future. They drew a picture on every frame, and everyone was looking for the current phenomenon to match The Simpson series so it could be said that it had been predicted beforehand. Ridiculous
This is just a coincidence.
Anyone can make predictions, but why are your eyes more on The Simpsons?
You are right and I don't say people should accept every price market predicted on the Simpson cartoon because no one can predict accurate price of the market and when the market is in ATH alot of people usually use the moment to create false reductionin other to be popular but what I am saying is that if we don't open our eyes to view other possibilities of the issue we may ignore the fact.

This is a joke and nothing more, do not take it seriously.

It is a joke once you only use this kind of way for an indicator to buy/sell or anything that involved money, extremely nonsense and risky.
But the good thing here is adoption, the more exposure of Bitcoin to the crowd, the better, The Simpson is one of the famous cartoon episodes now. Let's just be thankful they feature Bitcoin.
If you also agreed on the Simpson to be one of the famous cartoon episodes then you shouldn't consider what the producer show in his episodes as joke.
1) If the price prediction was provided footing his thought it means he's trying to influence the price of the market just like others did (Elon etc)
2) He could be a crypto trader or knowledgeable investor.
94  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the cheapest way to buy bitcoin? on: April 17, 2021, 12:12:38 AM
If you live in the USA and cant buy it on binance.

(Binance totally locked up my account for some reason and wont get back with me, which is whatever because I didn't have any crypto on it anyways... and I guess they think I'm trying to do something against their rules as they wont let me create another account)
Yes, Binance is one of the cheapest way to buy Bitcoin in the US and if Binance locked up your account for some reason it mainly because you sign up on Binance.com instead of Binance.us but if you canll have problem with that best alternative are cashapp, coinbase, kraken or coinmama.
All exchanges will certainly provide the best service and comfort for their customers. Various methods are used to attract customers and each exchange is different, such as giving discounts or giveaways, for example.
This is not the season some exchange provide the best service for their customers or use some various method to attract customers because more customer will join the crypto investment and this usually make every exchange site to experience huge traffic and some unresolved situation this day.

there are fake exchanges that provide promotions with big profits, in order to attract customers to be taken advantage of, or to be cheated later. Maybe you already know, which exchanges are official and not.
This is one of the strategy used by crypto currency scammer but there is a list of almost all reputable exchange site here.

However, there are also beginners here, who knows this can help them.
The idea of asking beginners (newbies) for help is unwholesome and I will advise not to do that.

Don't, stick to the promotion, all exchanges must have a license.
It not all good exchange that have license and the last time I checked license is only important for centralized exchange.
95  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there such thing as a “safe strategy”? on: April 16, 2021, 10:17:12 PM
To be sincere, there's no safe strategy anywhere because every investment strategy in the cryptocurrency have its own risk involving this is the reason why new investors are advised to learn more about but it good to have the required knowledge and awareness in making a profitable investment decision that can be used to prevent lost.
I hope it was clear enough for OP and for the newcomers who seek safety assurance here as they can't find it. Even expert traders had no escape from this how much more for the beginners.
For you OP, if you can't handle the stress and wanted safety assurance in trading, you'll better not try this thing because you only just be disappointed and that might curse you. Don't bother yourself trying if you were afraid to lose as this is a possible and normal scenario.
I support what you said because cryptocurrency investment is for those who can take the risk and make use of it to profit themselves but I study the OP question and I think he asks the question out of curiosity so he can know if there's a strategy that would minimize the chance of making losses.
96  Other / Meta / Re: Meriting a user who just merited you on: April 15, 2021, 11:12:40 PM
It's so hard to get merits, I'm always on the collectibles section buying items so I feel like I never have the chance to be merited. One day I will have activity of a legendary member and still be a junior member 😅

Any advice?
The collectibles section is for auction between the seller and item collectors and most of the merit source don't usually visit the section, for you the get merit you need to make a good contribution on the forum in the sections where the merit source and also create some informative thread which will enlight the newbies in the beginners and help section.

99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT keeps getting better on: April 14, 2021, 12:17:27 AM
One reason is enough to hate USDT which is centralization because they are in the complete control over the coins and they keep minting tokens from nowhere which means the coin is highly inflated.
Centralization is not always bad as long as the authority keeps everything transparency and clean. The main reason people hate usdt because of many shady activities, not because of the centralization. And even though it is criticized, you cant refuse its benefit of making cryptocurrency trading smooth.
Centralization will be bad at some point and if the authority keeps every transparency now, there's no guarantee that the system will remain the same in the future when they see that the crypto is affecting the trust and the usage of their Central Bank Digital Currency. Have you not know that's the reason why the Chinese government never support Bitcoin and the last time decentralization was among the reason why Satoshi created Bitcoin then.
100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price fall to Zero? Possible or not? on: April 13, 2021, 11:50:28 PM
I guess, those might be a possibility, but even so it's kinda impossible for it to reach zero. Maybe it will be worthless, but it might still have little value, not suddenly turned into zero.
And i guess, bitcoin is still so strong, even
Please read to understand the concept and the potential of Bitcoin with the advantage block halving because the chance for Bitcoin to be worthless is zero even before the institutional investors join the crypto investment.

without many option of using it to trade into goods or services
There are many options of using Bitcoin to trade for goods and services if you're well informed about the crypto activities created by PayPal, other online stores, and payment apps/platforms.

and bitcoin getting banned in a lot of countries, bitcoin still can rise up high up until now. There's no other cryptocurrency that seems to be able to overtake bitcoin position too for now. So i guess no need to think about it too much for now.
The government doesn't have power/control over Bitcoin its impossible for them to ban Bitcoin but they can place a certain restriction on its uses.
