81  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Official btcQuick Support Thread (Active Customer Support) on: October 17, 2013, 01:19:56 AM
I opened a ticket about my account level a coupe days ago.
Please advise.
Thanks
Please give me an update. I opened a ticket but have received no response.
Thank you

What is your membership order number?

Where can I find that on the site?

Click memberships on the left nav bar.

Sending PM that does not have a number any where when I click there other than Order number.

Any chance you could read my PM or tech support ticket to get this resolved?
Thanks!

We will be having Sam Cole posting as well and keeping everyone updated. Like I said, keep googling my name and my info all you want but I am not going anywhere. I am not a criminal. This group buy went wrong due to crisis that happened recently in my life.

Gathering of all your information is already complete as I mentioned in my email.  Name, Address, City, State, Zip, Phone number, Birthday, photos, where you went to High school, college, facebook pages - Everything

So if you are a criminal you are a stupid one  (trying to help your cause here)

Asking on behalf of the group:

Have you cancelled ALL KNC orders?

What is the status of the refund from KNC? International Wire transfers do not take this long unless there was a problem with the info provided.

Provide a list of refunds you have provided via BTC with transaction records
Provide a list of refunds provided via Paypal with transaction numbers

Provide an estimate of what is remaining to be done.

Your best course of action is constant communications and daily updates.

You have handled this all poorly but you can make it right, the choice is now yours.

Simple, concise and easy to do right? This should take about an hour to post all this information and we are months in.

I wanted to make this thread in hopes that the questions will be answered and it will help others. I am currently doing escrow with John K and there is some confusion from me and the buyer as to how to properly verify his sig.

Here is his public example

Hey everyone,

I figured that as I've been getting requests here and there for escrow services, it would be better that if I made a thread about this to consolidate the matter. I'm providing this service FOC and as a service for the community, but tips are graciously accepted for my time.

I will issue a contract signed by my GPG key below, with the Bitcoin address embedded within the message. Please do not accept a Bitcoin address that is not GPG signed. Anyone who has dealt with my escrow services before knows what to expect in my contract, of course.

On the event that any problems arises, I will release the escrow to whichever party that presents me with the most convincing proof after an open discussion with others and/or theymos. I've invoked this point twice only in my escrow 'lifetime' , and both resulted in a satisfactory settlement by all parties.

As always, PM me if you need me - I'm generally responsive if you see me online.

Best,
John

If I wanted to  create the steps what would they be?
1) download and install Kleopatra
2) create a .asc file with ?
3) verify message against that file ?
4) ?

etc....

Thanks
DBA

IIRC: get the public key of the sender. Then copy the whole thing in your clipboard. Right click the Kleopatra icon in the task bar. It will give you the option to verify the sig from clipboard.

Under Windows I preferred Cryptophane.

Thanks I will look at that.
I am trying to dumb it down even further so someone that has never done this at all can do it and feel confident.

1) save message text as ....
2) save signature text as ...
3) Your suggestion to go to IRC (

Is there any interest in a mediator?

After having a conversation with the roommate, it does not seem like anything Tom has said has been bullshit.

Any interest in someone else hosting the devices instead of a refund? Seems like there is very little time left before they are delivered.

Where is Prodigits?

Read this 10 times from fydel....

"prodigits7 claims to have met OP and that he will take care of the refund process now.
But actually only one participant has been refunded with 0.55 BTC. The other refunds have been Paypal chargebacks."

If that's not enough then you should read every post in this thread. These guys are so full of bullshit its unreal.

I just emailed him,

I have his real name and his personal email address, which I will be releasing if I don't get my money.

FYI Stephen Lincoln is his housemate. Raging's first name is Tom.

That's not the name I sent paypal funds to.

Are they in the US or elsewhere?

:takes the podium:

As one of the larger investors in this venture (33 BTC) I'd like to throw my two cents into the pile.

Legal engagement is a costly option. There's a growing sentiment of running this through the legal system. Know that lawyers love money almost as much as we do, and will likely take a large share of the recoupment. If someone knows a pro-bono guy, that's a different story.

Regarding other options, there is a growing lynch-mob sentiment growing here. JohnK has yet to unload the nuclear option. Should he do so, it will most likely be to one or two trusted members of this group buy. ragin's info will not be publicly posted until all other options are exhausted. That's just bad business to send the mob out with pitchforks.

Give it a break guys, or get in direct contact with JohnK. Put pressure where pressure is most effectively put. Personally, I went into this with the knowledge that there is risk inherent in this type of investment. Act like men and shit or get off the pot.

:drops the mic:

Nice try, ragingazn.

Heh!@ even if this wasn't Rag this would be something. Some how you are acting like a man while be fucked out of 33 BTC. Nice try indeed!

John K. did not escrow this GB so it is not his responsibility. If he chooses to release information that is his business. With that said what is great about this is we don't need him, things will balance themselves as they always do. You guys are stealing other people's money and they are going to be upset about it. You have had enough time to square things up and have decided ignore, delay, etc. etc. What happens as a result of that will be well earned.
