I guess the safest way to trade altcoins without losing out is to invest in ICOs of good coins. At least you are sure of making some profit once the coin hits the exchanges.

1. You can use coinbase.com or cryponit to exchange paypal and bitcoin if you are based in the US or in any of the countries within their sphere of operation. Head over to their site to register, provide ID verification and deposit/withdraw with either bitcoins or paypal.
2. Alternatively, since you are paid in bitcoins, you can go to localbitcoins.com to sell to people in your country. You will be paid in your local currency.
3. You can buy a reloadable virtual card from uquid.com or coinzy using bitcoins, for $1 $0.5. Load bitcoins on the card and pay at stores in USD, Euro, GBP etc. Check the fees if you are okay with it (they not high though).

Big investors might consider crypto worthwhile by 2020 because I heard that big banks are preparing to have their own coins for exclusive in-house transactions.

Even if the internet gets faster in the future, downloading 1000GB of data is going to be somewhat of a big feat.
There is no running away from downsizing.

That's the thing, new traders jump in with after doing some guess work on one or two coins. When they run of luck, trading starts to look like gambling.
|
|
|
Well, that is a good move. Wishing them all the best in the venture.

I see no reason why a millionaire will not use bitcoin, they are the whales behind lots of altcoin pumps. Probably some of them even did a bitcoin pump.
|
|
|
So in short they are planning to reduce the size of the bitcoin blockchain to a manageable level...

The first thing I bought was a virtual credit card from Uquid. I have not made a physical payment with bitcoins before.

I can't say if exchanges fake volume or not but even if they do, I believe you should be able to sell your coins and get your money even if you are trading with a bot.

I wish it were possible to develop a POS coin with NO transaction fees. It just logs itself straight to the blockchain with no help from miners whatsoever.
|
|
|
I suppose bitcoin can still scale the hurdle of transaction fees if something can be done about the size of its blockchain.

We all know there are so many altcoins claiming to be innovative asides bitcoin, but since everyone is making money off it - I see no harm to bitcoin. It sorts of portray bitcoin as the good old granddaddy. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I could just test the waters with a small amount of bitcoins to see how the exchange is. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

With all these scam stories flying around the crypto community, I think it will be safe to test new exchanges with only few funds before trusting them with bigger funds.

Please add: Pesobit Cloak coin They are two new coins but are already been traded in exchanges.
Also, is it possible to have the option of listing all coins on a single page? It makes it easier to navigate and compare pries just like coinmarketcap. Thanks.

I wonder how secure their site is because there seems to be a new lucrative job in town, it's called exchange hacking.
Not that I know anything about hacking, just trying to play safe.

Once a new coin gets listed in any exchange it should reflect in the coincap database. I guess the coin is not showing now because it has not been listed in an exchange yet.

I have known this exchange way back when I am active mining on minergate,it's so easy to exchange your coin here but hopefully they can add more coins some of the coins that they are adding are of cryptonote algos..
They have many coins for a new exchange. But the 0.5% rate is not as competitive, some exchanges go as low as 0.15%

I hope you will sell ICN coins as well once it launches. The price of the coin is really going to soar high
