81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [PSB] pesobit speculation on: October 12, 2016, 11:41:44 AM
I guess the safest way to trade altcoins without losing out is to invest in ICOs of good coins. At least you are sure of making some profit once the coin hits the exchanges.
82  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to Paypal/Credit on: October 10, 2016, 11:35:55 AM
1. You can use coinbase.com or cryponit to exchange paypal and bitcoin if you are based in the US or in any of the countries within their sphere of operation. Head over to their site to register, provide ID verification and deposit/withdraw with either bitcoins or paypal.

2. Alternatively, since you are paid in bitcoins, you can go to localbitcoins.com to sell to people in your country. You will be paid in your local currency.

3. You can buy a reloadable virtual card from uquid.com or coinzy using bitcoins, for $1 $0.5. Load bitcoins on the card and pay at stores in USD, Euro, GBP etc. Check the fees if you are okay with it (they not high though).
83  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-10-06] Will investors flee to bitcoin in times of distress? on: October 10, 2016, 11:24:25 AM
Big investors might consider crypto worthwhile by 2020 because I heard that big banks are preparing to have their own coins for exclusive in-house transactions.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: COD Infinite Warfare's size is 130GB, and people cry about 85GB of blockchain? on: October 10, 2016, 11:22:45 AM
Even if the internet gets faster in the future, downloading 1000GB of data is going to be somewhat of a big feat.

There is no running away from downsizing.
85  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes in trading that lead to loss of money on: October 10, 2016, 11:18:05 AM
That's the thing, new traders jump in with after doing some guess work on one or two coins. When they run of luck, trading starts to look like gambling.
86  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-10-10] Financial institutions investigate Blockchain in leading investment on: October 10, 2016, 11:07:39 AM
Well, that is a good move. Wishing them all the best in the venture.
87  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would u still use Bitcoin if u were a USD multi millionaire? on: October 10, 2016, 10:54:56 AM
I see no reason why a millionaire will not use bitcoin, they are the whales behind lots of altcoin pumps. Probably some of them even did a bitcoin pump.
88  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-10-07] Roger Ver to Hold ‘Free Speech Party’ for Scaling Bitcoin Attendees on: October 10, 2016, 10:43:37 AM
So in short they are planning to reduce the size of the bitcoin blockchain to a manageable level...
89  Other / Off-topic / Re: The First Thing You Bought? on: October 10, 2016, 10:40:45 AM
The first thing I bought was a virtual credit card from Uquid. I have not made a physical payment with bitcoins before.
90  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do exchanges manipulate order books, add fake transactions? on: October 10, 2016, 10:37:25 AM
I can't say if exchanges fake volume or not but even if they do, I believe you should be able to sell your coins and get your money even if you are trading with a bot.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you were a coin developer... on: October 08, 2016, 01:59:41 PM
I wish it were possible to develop a POS coin with NO transaction fees. It just logs itself straight to the blockchain with no help from miners whatsoever.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC has too few coins to function as a global currency. on: October 08, 2016, 01:57:11 PM
I suppose bitcoin can still scale the hurdle of transaction fees if something can be done about the size of its blockchain.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FUD] Innovation, Currencies & Schemes on: October 08, 2016, 01:36:55 PM
We all know there are so many altcoins claiming to be innovative asides bitcoin, but since everyone is making money off it - I see no harm to bitcoin. It sorts of portray bitcoin as the good old granddaddy. Grin
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RAWX altcoin exchange (former mcxNOW) | LAUNCHED ON AUGUST 7 on: October 08, 2016, 01:35:18 PM
I could just test the waters with a small amount of bitcoins to see how the exchange is. Undecided
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: New Altcoin exchange EmpireX.ch on: October 08, 2016, 12:56:37 PM
With all these scam stories flying around the crypto community, I think it will be safe to test new exchanges with only few funds before trusting them with bigger funds.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WorldCoinIndex.com - Cryptocurrency price index on: October 08, 2016, 12:53:34 PM
Please add:
Pesobit
Cloak coin
They are two new coins but are already been traded in exchanges.

Also, is it possible to have the option of listing all coins on a single page? It makes it easier to navigate and compare pries just like coinmarketcap.
Thanks.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Yo-Ex.com - New Altcoin Exchange Launch on: October 08, 2016, 12:43:51 PM
I wonder how secure their site is because there seems to be a new lucrative job in town, it's called exchange hacking.

Not that I know anything about hacking, just trying to play safe.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinCap.io- Realtime Market Data of All Cryptocurrencies and Digital Assets! on: October 08, 2016, 12:41:16 PM
Once a new coin gets listed in any exchange it should reflect in the coincap database. I guess the coin is not showing now because it has not been listed in an exchange yet.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Changelly.com - Exchange cryptocurrency at the best rate on: October 08, 2016, 12:33:24 PM
I have known this exchange way back when I am active mining on minergate,it's so easy to exchange your coin here but hopefully they can add more coins some of the coins that they are adding are of cryptonote algos..

They have many coins for a new exchange. But the 0.5% rate is not as competitive, some exchanges go as low as 0.15%
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOU market by Liqui Exchange - discussion thread on: October 08, 2016, 12:27:51 PM
I hope you will sell ICN coins as well once it launches. The price of the coin is really going to soar high
