And you are putting your faith in a "man" that can't even tell a reflection from a spot on a chip and claims to be an engineer. Wow... you guys are up the proverbial shit creek if that's the caliber of intelligence you can bring to bear upon Hashfast.  Good luck!

Hi Organofcorti,

EMC's minimum withdrawal is .001 BTC... I just noticed it was listed as unknown.
83  Economy / Goods / Re: PS-90 Compact Assault Rifles for sale. 50rd mags. Brand new in the box on: April 27, 2014, 05:42:56 AM
They are nice guns... good luck getting ammo... 5.7x28 is rare as hens teeth in the US.. I buy all I can get whenever I find it.  As a side note, 5.7 ammo is not "good for apartments, etc..." to reduce collateral damage.  These rounds, even the blue tip are nearly armor piercing.  They will go through walls and anything that's not very solid and/or very thick.  If you get the black tip ammo, they will go through every wall in an apartment building and end up somewhere down the street in a car or a tree.

Very little kick to the gun, though... they are pretty amazing and the 50 round clip is nice.

I don't suppose you have a FiveseveN pistol available?
84  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [800 TH] EMC: 0 Fee DGM. Anonymous PPS. US & EU servers. No Registration! on: April 24, 2014, 03:23:56 PM
Zero.  BFL has nothing to burn in, ergo there can't be any hashrate from burn-in.
85  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Experience on: April 24, 2014, 03:18:38 PM
Let me clear up a few points here real quick:

  • BFL stole nothing. Unless someone can provide some proof to the contrary, they are lying.
  • BFL has scammed no one. Unless someone can provide proof to the contrary, they are lying. (Go on, ask for proof from the trolls claiming scams, you'll never get it.)
  • BFL gave refund for over six months past the estimated shipping date. BFL only stopped giving refunds after shipping started. Anyone who tells you differently is lying.
  • There was no promised shipping date for the Monarch line and in fact there were big bold text stating that it is a preorder and subject to delay. Anyone who tells you the Monarch is late and that BFL made promises on delivery time is lying.
  • BFL has shipped over 50,000 products in the 65nm line. The failure rate is less than 1% (0.72%) not including power supplies.  If you include power supplies, that goes to 1.65%.  Far lower than industry average and a simply awesome (lack of) failure rate. Contrast to the other mining companies equipment, which has double digit failure rates and it's even better.  Anyone who tells you differently is lying.
  • OP's experience is the norm. People rarely come to a forum to post when they have a positive experience, they usually come and post to complain. After 50,000 units shipped and you look at the complaints, that should tell you something.  Most people are not complaining, just a handful of disgruntled people and a whole lot of trolls who aren't even customers.
  • The only people who get rude responses from me are people who initiate a conversation with rudeness or lies. Go on, ask one of the trolls to provide proof to the contrary, you won't find it.  The secret is being respectful and polite and you get the same in return.  Be an asshole and you get the same in return... funny how that works.

You should be able to re-enable your email now by re-checking the boxes if you've unsubscribed via email.
87  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [700 TH] EMC: No Fee DGM. Anonymous PPS. US & EU servers. on: April 13, 2014, 05:13:48 AM
Is there any way to re-enable the block completion emails if you accidentally click the unsubscribe button in the email?  I've tried disabling/enabling under settings but it didn't fix it.  (Sorry for the double post, I posted this in the BFL EMC forum but that one seems to be pretty dead as of late.

Also, switching from DGM to PPS, or vice versa, doesn't have any sort of negative effect on credit for shares submitted, does it?  I noticed it resets to 0 shares--I figured that's probably just on the front end.

The overall hashrate jumped pretty substantially over night!!  Between like 70-100TH!!  crazy.  I guess some sort of hosted mining center must have come online?

There should be a way to re-enable them, if it's not working, let me look into why... I'll get it fixed.

Switching from DGM to PPS or the other way around won't have any negative effect.  Your DGM score will decay as normal and the reset to zero shares should be by block.

EMC is used as a backup pool by many, so it can have fairly substantial swings if a pool goes offline or something happens.
88  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [700 TH] EMC: No Fee DGM. Anonymous PPS. US & EU servers. on: April 10, 2014, 02:43:35 PM
Yeah, I am seeing the same thing and I'm trying to pin it down exactly... I made a couple changes on the servers this morning to see if that will quiet it down.  I have another change I want to make, but it will require a little downtime on the server so I'll probably do that later today or tonight.
89  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: April 09, 2014, 09:30:39 PM
Yes actually. When you make a pre-order and then expect immediate shipping you are being unreasonable. If you want immediate shipping, don't pre-order. It's simply amazing how many people fail to understand how to do that.

No one has ever been forced to pre-order mining gear. If you don't like it and everything it implies, don't do it. Easy.

if i respond with intellect to your comment do i get 'welcome to ignore'?

LOL

here is my response.
Josh, I have BFL equipment mining at home and it's very reliable (although i've swapped the fans because my missus likes a quiet office room) so .. i expect you are likely to get some ridiculous comment about how awful you are or something like that (i haven't read further than this post atm). You and I both know the game we are in, and often things happen out-with out power. I can understand this.

response(most have on ignore  Cheesy): i see preorder as the means to an end for both consumer and provider. in my previous comment, which was totally far too intellectual for some, i remarked that if I waited long enough for a mango to fall off a tree, someone would come along and swipe my mango before it fell. this is the market we exist within and simply because "we have been butt hurt - boohoo" this is not a viable reasoning to dismiss viable companies who are going far and beyond the reasonable market statistic to ensure the hash-power of bitcoin mining is spread (does anyone remember, or even care about this?).

summise: being delayed by one promise, should not make you lack trust. it is only the worst of us, who expect others to perform to the abilities of our own expectations, when our own expectations are far and beyond reasonable allowance. I'm quite happy with the rig I have at home - i've kept up with difficulty and I mine around 1BTC per month. it's cost me a sum, but i'm an enthusiast, not a day-trader. I enjoy bitcoin and don't expect to be able to 'rape it' ahead of anyone else. I'll take what I can get and I will enjoy some of it, spend some of it and speculate on some of it, for the future.

thanks.

The only people I have on ignore are the ones who are incapable of making cogent arguments and post the same thing over... and over... and over... and over... without any regards to facts or reality.  This basically amounts to a handful of trolls who are either failures in their own (Bicknellski, et al) or whiny trolls who haven't had an original thought in years.  Otherwise, I respond to people with the ability to communicate like adults.  Your mango reference wasn't lost on me Smiley  I pretty much agree with everything you've said so far... so I'm sure that makes you on the ignore list of the people who like to put their hands over their ears and yell "LALALALALALALAA" so they don't have to hear the truth.

You would probably be marginally better off on Dec.
sorry  im still a bit new to this what do u mean dec??

Stupid autocorrect... I meant DGM.

Pretty sure VMC was around before Hashfast... can't swear on that though.

Gotta say it's quite the strange turn of events, though. Very perplexing.
94  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: [ANN] Eloipool - FAST Python3 pool server software - GBT/stratum/dyntarget/proxy on: March 22, 2014, 01:58:50 AM
What's this got to do with Eloipool?

Mining is already centralized, there's only about 12 miners on the network at the moment.  Cloud hashing farms will help to decentralize the currently ultra-centralized mining.  If you are mining into a pool, you aren't mining.  You are contributing work to the pool, who is mining; The pool is the only miner of the thousands of people using the pool.  If you aren't creating blocks, you aren't mining, either.  So "contributing" your CPU hashing power to "help support the network" isn't doing anything for the network, you're just consuming power.

All of this should be split into a different thread, though.  Maybe a mod can split it off, I'll be happy to continue the discussion in a thread that's not the Eloipool thread.

Yeah, I don't want to be a bank for anyone, so if you request a payout, you get the whole thing.
96  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [500 TH] EMC: No Fee DGM. Anonymous PPS. US & EU servers. on: March 21, 2014, 01:26:35 PM
I don't know what's happened to EU. I've redirected it to US2 for the moment.  I have a trouble ticket in, but the raid array on the system is not behaving properly.

Unless you were using the IP address to connect, you should seamlessly be redirected to US2.
97  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: March 20, 2014, 03:20:45 AM
You guys do realize that "Garrett MacDonald" is Garr on these forums, right?  The guy who scammed tons of people out of money, lied about his shill bidding of auctions, etc...
98  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: If you're thinking buying mining hardware, read this first on: March 20, 2014, 12:11:21 AM
Yes, but not until the next generation of miners are deployed and active.  Until then, it's a race to just keep up.  Once the next generation is out there, we are up against a technology wall that will slow down the pace of new hardware being rolled out dramatically, giving the miners and the manufacturers time to breathe a bit.

Not at all!  I appreciate it very much!  It's a heck of a lot more than most people donate.  Average donation across all the users of the pool is about .01%  hah.

Yes that is correct. 1/2 percent.
