Don't trade here unless it's with a very well known and well established user. Basically most people here are scammers. You can also try localbitcoins.com, I've bought btc with paypal there several times with high rated traders and never had a problem

I'm considering getting a hardware wallet and the ledger nano s seems like a good choice for the price. how many people here are using it to store their coins? is it really that much safer than a web or desktop wallet? looking for opinions here before buying it. Thanks!

seems like a nice project. you have my south american vote

Fairly simple question but I'm having a hard time coming up with a real feasible answer. what's the safest way to invest 1 btc for a small daily profit, from $5 to $10 a day, that obviously doesn't involve gambling? thanks!

Eventually a porn star will win the presidency in the USA. it's just a matter of time

Tradingview.com offers a nice feature called paper trading where you can trade with fake money. I've been playing around with it for about a week. it's much better than trading with your real money when you are learning. I'm planning on doing it for a few weeks and eventually try real money trading.

without access to a credit card I had to find a way to buy things online. started using btc and realized how amazing it is. now I hate fiat and want to use btc all the time

if you've been using and buying bitcoin since 2012 then you know the overall tendency of price remains. weren't you here when bitfinex got "hacked"? FUD makes price drop, wait a few days, then price continues to move up as it has for the last 3 years.
The long term tendency remains. watch any weekly chart and you'll see how bitcoin price has increased steadily for the last 3 years. these kind of movements are expected.

as people have mentioned, with amazon gift cards you can use purse.io. I've been using to for a while with no problems.
You can also try giftcardexchange at reddit, but be extremely careful. Assume everyone else is a scammer, just like you should be doing here anyway.

There's one problem with bitcoin. sometimes absolute freedom is too much freedom. People need to feel "safe" about their money, even if it is just an illusion. Banks, Paypal, etc give people that safety. Bitcoin on the other hand, where every single transaction is final and there's no central authority, makes most people a little uncomfortable.

knowledge and adaptation is growing and that's good, but is far from even being considered an alternative to fiat there. hyper inflation keeps growing and people are obviously desperate to find ways to avoid it. It'd be fantastic for entire country to have mass bitcoin adaptation but I think we are very far from it yet

Started reading about bitcoin here and there around 2014, using btc in early 2015 but sadly, didn't have much money back then and couldn't buy lots of cheap coins. but I still think that anything bellow $1000 per bitcoin is still cheap, because price will eventually go much higher. so just hoarding at the moment
Of course central banks are going to do these kind of things against bitcoin. it's just a veiled attempt at controlling it. Sadly, bitcoin can be manipulated this easily but not for very long.

you should try https://www.iptvsubs.is/I've been using for 3 weeks and haven't had any issues at all. very good quality (not HD) and lots of channels
the ledger nano S it's also a great hardware wallet and it's also cheaper. seems like a very secure way of storing your coins safely
A couple of web wallets right now, probably buying a hardware wallet in the next months for added safety.

I'm confident a $1000 btc is something we will look back as incredibly cheap. Bitcoin is the currency of the future and no government or central bank will stop it. Using bitcoin now feels like those first few days downloading mp3 with napster. I know it was the future right there, the same thing will eventually happen with BTC. maybe a year, maybe five. which is why I'm trying to hoard as much as possible in btc
Gambling away 0.7 btc about a year ago. would have 700$ by now I guess that's the price I had to pay to realize gambling is stupid and I haven't done any gambling ever since and probably never will again.
been thinking about getting one of these, with the rising price of BTC. I guess it works like any other kind of cold storage, but more convenient (and probably less safe) than a paper wallet. But I don't really like paper wallet, because those can't be recovered. nice video!
