81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is etherium good for long term on: April 27, 2019, 03:59:15 AM
Can i trust on etherium project
I want to hold it for long term 5-10 years
Can i use hardware wallet (ledger or trezor)?
Of course, I believe ethereum is for long term. It is one of the most trusted coins in the crypto world beside bitcoin. Its community has fully supported the development and those that support them solidly did not leave no matter how the price plummet that much.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The End of Bear Market, Confirmed!! on: April 26, 2019, 10:44:33 AM
I think that the bull is just playing in the bear market. No confirmation of the bull trend until the price reach to a certain level or so and continuing the uptrend but if it is interrupted with another short downward trend, the benefit of the doubt is still around.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding a bag of useless illiquid tokens? Like I do? on: April 25, 2019, 07:14:53 AM
I did not bought useless illiquid tokens, but i got a lot of them through airdrops and bounties. My plan is to wait and be patient with them, maybe some of them will succeed at the end.
I did not buy any useless tokens either. But I am hoping one day, they all comes to life as I have also get them from airdrops and bounty. I realized that bounty today is not as profitable as before because tokens released and paid to hunters are turning out to be scammed. It is a waste of effort and time joining if you found out later it is a scam anyway.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is Becoming a Crypto Monopoly on: April 25, 2019, 06:45:02 AM
I don't think that's a monopoly when other exchanges follow what Binance did to delist BSV. They have good reason to defend it and those exchanges that follow thru see also the reason why.

And being in Binance as the number one exchanger today keeps one feel that they are protected from trading their coins. I feel like it is good for me to take and exchange them all my coins and then withdraw it without really trading because I can withdraw it without the fear of doing KYC because my withdrawal is still in the limit level. That's one that makes Binance ahead of the other great exchanges before they impose the KYC on all coins withdrawal.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Vs Trading on: April 24, 2019, 03:59:00 PM
2019 has been a year with mixed feelings for crypto enthusiasts. A lot of bounty hunters have now switched over to trading, because bounty is longer profitable.
Some that have combined the two (both bounty and trading), while larger percentage are still into bounty, despite not being profitable.
I envisage that in two to three years to this time, the population of people on bounty will reduce drastically, because it will no longer be profitable as it used to be.
Trading is more profitable today than bounty hunting. The ICOs are turning out to be scammed and most of them have unrealistic platform and goal which in the present state of the market will truly make them unrecover the effort of the team to succeed.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happened with ADA? on: April 24, 2019, 09:22:52 AM
I thought ADA would ride with the price of Bitcoin. ADA reached an all-time high of $1.32, but just one month later, ADA dropped down to $0.27 and it dropped even lower. They have a lot of plans and good roadmap for 2019 but I don't think that it could recover again. Most Ada holders have switched to other coins which are on top of the list.
I believe ADA is just waiting for the right time not because the lack of any updates from the team may make it not able to recover again. Come on, ADA has a good team behind it and I don't think people are losing faith with this coin. Many investors I guess are holders of ADA coin. So I think if trading is not as active lately it will, in time, recover just be patient and keep on holding if you believe it will take off in the future.
87  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When did you start trading? on: April 23, 2019, 09:02:46 AM
what is your main reason for trading??? that is one capital you must have. if you ask when I start trading of course when the price goes down and at that time I start trading and when the price goes up I also trade
Almost everybody would say that their main reason is for profit and investment. My first trading experience was with the C-CEX exchange. I do not have problems with them because I can play with small capital only. However, because I want to add more capital I switch to more volume trading company and that is bittrex. Most of my trade is a minimum 5% profit and after hitting it trade again. You have to be very patient if you want to gain more than 5% profit.

My advice to you? You need to learn at least basic chart reading and if you have time, learn more about trading.

If bounty hunting is not profitable anymore, trading is another option to consider. However, if you are still consider newbie as a trader, I suggest you to take some trading knowledge or skill before engaging into it. Teach yourself at least to learn the basic trading skill.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DUMP after PUMP! on: April 22, 2019, 02:43:09 PM
The normal is crazy you know. The dump after pump is a manipulation of the price. You have profited and dump again to lower the price of a particular coin and again profit for the dumper. Well, cryptocurrency world is a crazy world. We are all crazy about bitcoin.
91  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest now? or wait for down turn? on: April 21, 2019, 09:22:32 PM
I do not believe there will be another downturn but I believe we are not yet in the bull market. You might be seeing price is pumped and slowly going up but I guess the is just playing in the bear market condition and not really have overtaken already the bear.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BAT - Basic Attention Token ICO (31-5-17)- Worth Investing? on: April 21, 2019, 09:14:28 PM
Investing in a few ICO's to try and get in at the start on some new ICO's that look like they will do well and turn me a profit in the process.

Currently investing in:
MobileGo
Minexcoin

Will invest in:
Sonm
Footballcoin (possibly need to do a bit more reading)
BAT - Basic Attention Token - https://basicattentiontoken.org/

I like the idea of BAT and think it could work if they can get users to adopt a new browser, what do others think could this be a good investment?
ICO is 31-5-17 but im not seeing much info on this forum regarding it, unless ive missed it but done a lot of searches and cannot find it?

Also anything else that should be on my radar?
I also like the idea or presentation the BAT project had. It is interesting to consider it for investment. There are so many ICOs nowadays which after being launch wasn't able to make to the market because investors find out futility in the idea. They just invest and not researching the project whether it is legit or not.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the future price prediction for Ripple? on: April 20, 2019, 08:20:53 AM
IMHO I would sell all XRP at 1.2 USD level) IMHO they are great for speculation. But there are too many coins in their supply.
More supply will be dumped by the ripple foundation because the pre miner coin is not yet distributed to the market and that will create a big dump to the ripple consider about the company was holding a lot of ripple coin. That's not a good choice for me. I'll pick another coin.
I am not a follower of ripple simply because it is centralized. Second, too many coins were in the ripple foundation. It is scary to invest in ripple because they, the foundation, are holding too many coins that anytime they will be just dumped in the market controlling the price to go up.

95  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now a stable coin? on: April 20, 2019, 07:08:06 AM
here's a pretty interesting forecast on this

matter.

Bitcoin Price Prediction 2019 - BTC Price to Touch $23500 in 2019

https://coinswitch.co/news/bitcoin-price-prediction-2019-btc-price-to-touch-23500-in-2019
I guess, the price of $23500 is way too high but I believe that anything is possible in cryptocurrency world. Just like when the 8K rallied into 20K in the yearend 2017. Everybody doesn't expect it will happen that too soon and those that make predictions of bitcoin being near the 20K mark regained reputation. Let's just hope for the best but expect less as what are others saying it.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bulls strong enough to end the bear market?? on: April 20, 2019, 06:48:41 AM
Fianlly a day of green market after the extreme dip.. do you think that bull are strong enough to revive the market again.. i am specifically to the people who are in crypto since 2011..
It seems the bull is still very weak to escape from the bear market. He is just taking time to use his energy but now, the fact that it can't go ahead and there are still fewer investors and buyers to be expected, crypto world needs more institutionalized investing and mainstream media promotion and introduction of the importance of blockchain specifically bitcoin in the financial world. This may seem to help propel the bull to run.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Stablecoins have a future? on: April 19, 2019, 10:00:06 AM
Stablecoins can only be used as a precautionary to reduce loss and serve as a safe haven for investors money. It is not a highly volatile coin that's why investors, in time that bear dominate the market, use the USDT market for their high risk coins.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is growing. Someone's pouring money into it. on: April 18, 2019, 09:23:05 AM
Ethereum in early April was not in the best shape. ICO began to withdraw funds and the coin fell sharply to $ 400. Miners in a panic, and traders saw the picture and bought. Now ETH grew up and went to school. But thanks to what he was able rage?
Do you think EOS really affects the price of Ethereum?
Why EOS? Why not the whole cryptocurrency market? It is not only the ethereum value that goes down but the whole cryptocurrency market becomes red. We are still in the bear market but we can see that the bull is playing in the bear condition. The market, altho slowly turning up, it is becoming stable in the 5k level. Ethereum is slowly picking up and let's hope it will run with the bull when it goes up.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC defeats the purpose of Crypto. Thoughts anyone? on: April 18, 2019, 09:11:50 AM
yes, this has deviated from the original crypto goal which created an anonymous and free payment method without having to involve personal identities and documents. just positive thinking, maybe this is a first step in getting legalization from the government related to the existence of personal identity.

I just hope you are right that this may signal the start of just legalization of crypyocurrency in other parts of the world. However, as I see and observed about it, it is just being use to scam people of their identity and later on abandoned the project which in their white paper it is too good to be true and tempting to invest.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in ICOs decreased by 5800% on: April 16, 2019, 03:29:25 PM
As compared to the Q1 of 2018, Q1 of 2019 saw a dramatic decrease in amount of investment done on ICOs. The amount collected by ICOs has been decreased by 58 times as compared to previous year.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/report-icos-raised-118-million-in-q1-2019-over-58-times-less-than-in-q1-2018/amp

Edit - It's not just 5100% but is 5800%
That decrease, 5800% is so big but I guess, and I hope that those decrease can bring the fake or scam icos down too when it comes to totally eliminating them as a playet too.
