No es que tuviera una muy buena acogida,

su precio alto en relación a las otras Altcoins es porque se va a producir una cantidad muy pequeña de monedas
(por eso le llaman bitbar, y el logo es un lingote...), y quien paga ese precio alto es porque cree encontrar una relación directa
entre esa escasedad y un futuro precio...

Lo que ocurre es que la escasedad no es el único valor para un precio, ni el más importante; puesto que lo más importante son el mercado y la comunidad, las tiendas que lo aceptan, los desarrolladores que estan dispuestos a hacer nuevos proyectos con esa moneda etc...
(por ejemplo hay muchos más litecoins que terracoins, però litecoin vale más porque tiene un mercado creciente...
