Why would you want to extend rigs when the era of mining is just about coming to and end? Coming to an end? Can't count the times I've read this. How do you know it's coming to an end? Because ETH price is going down? Even if this is the end of mining, I am sure you can't know it. Overcapacity of miners looking for something else to mine after ETH mining becomes first unprofitable and next not possible to mine. With as a result very rapid difficulty rises for other coins that are not matched by insane gains for these coins which will render mining these coins unprofitable in no time if this rise is not accompanied by rapid coin value growth. The space is satturated, both with hashing power and coins. No trippling of market caps so not sure where you think mining profitability is coming from (in case of no free electricity) There is no major pow coin on the horizon to replace ETH with a chance to follow the same bubblepath as ETH. Hypes usually kill themselves which also holds for the mining hype. Yep, not the first time we have overcapacity of miners. Not the first time when profit is going down rapidly. Not the first there isn't any good POW alternative. And we see this since 2011 almost every year. |

The profitability is the same for eth and etc.
But I think soon etc will be more profitable because the most miners are on eth now.
Can't see the logic in your words. It doesn't matter how many miners are on eth. The difficulty means nothing alone, it should be compared to price to make any sense. |

quite impressed with dev coin has most of work needed, like how is improved version of zcash without all the jpmorgan crap and without premine seems we have a lot of miners which is good, but community needs to come together and help with social media, marketing, designs etc I have done a logo, as ZERO needs a personality I like to think of ZERO as like zero degrees, , cold, stealth, under the radar private transactions a proper non-premine community coin away from all this centralised ripple shit and ico crap we're seeing old school with the best tech hope you like it will work on the text logo for ZERO too if you all like, the dev can replace icon at github, as original temporary one was pretty nasty  our logo also takes some inspiration from zcash logo but different as it is a relation to zcash, albeit a better relation also the white to reflect the cold element and away from zcash the gold to represent value in time, once dev does a full working windows wallet, fully tested I will develop a website, doesn't seem much point at minute I have procured a good domain we can then do social media etc please contribute help in any way your skillsets allow again if everyone happy with it, we can finally inform cryptopia we have an icon they can use! AMD VEGA = poor hashrate and big power consumption.
We should wait until AMD release new drivers and the developers optimize their mining software. After that we can conclude if Vega is good or bad for mining. |

You mean the price right now is lower than ICO price?
Yes it is, though not by too much. It's because first low market volumes on the current exchanges makes the price easilly manipulated and the pre-ICO investors had a multiplier. For 1 ETH they were receiving I think double or even quadripple the SNM people got in the ICO and that was back in the day when ETH was $50 a piece. This means they can go much lower than ICO price and still make profits, so we're currently waiting for their dump to end. This is exactly why when SNM gets listed on bittrex it will be a good thing. On a larger exchange like this the dumped tokens will get bought out much faster. That is right. But I don't think the price will go up immediately after SNM is listed on Bittrex or other bigger exchange because Bounty campaign participant will receive their tokens any time soon and another big dump is expected. We should wait a little to see the real current price of SNM. |

I mine with R9 270X, and I had about 140-150 h/s last few days. But last night my h/s dropped to only 20?! I'm mining on nanopool, but tried it at flypool to. Same results.
Tried restarted miner few times but nothing.
GPU is not used fully, why? Any suggestions?
Return to stock clock if overclocked and try again overclocking slowly. If this can't help, reinstall drivers. For this card the best are 15.12. |
