81  Economy / Economics / Re: How to stop the world recession that is soon coming. on: February 26, 2020, 07:13:12 PM
We already know how the economy is crumbling piece by piece . I do think it's up-to us to improve it , do you guys have any suggestions , any ideas ? to actually counter this situation ! ?

I do think everything starts with Education
If the government spends more funds in the education , educating people who are not able to afford a descent education and work towards the welfare of the country rather than investing in foreign trades and other things , just like someone said once *charity begins at home , I think they should look more closely to the situation of the people and tackle poverty by books.
Changing personal behavior is the first step, stop wasting resources (food, water, electricity, time and the list go on), we must be more efficient in what we do with minimum of resources, this way recessions can be avoided.
82  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy would benefit if all crypto work together on: February 23, 2020, 06:45:14 PM
If the crypto projects were working in collaboration more often, then the whole crypto community would achieve bigger accomplishments all at once!
Synergy would be on the side of cryptos if that were the case, we see these days many projects working on their own each of them having as result longer periods of releasing updates and new features.

It is time to find ideas and bring teams together and work smart rather than hard. With collaboration among team projects like Lightning network, bitcoin smart contracts, ETH scalability, and many features could be ready for the masses sooner and the global economy would have a big positive impact!
I like the concept from above, especially the part with '' work smart than hard'. Somehow all crypto projects are in competition even if they try to sustain the same technology.
83  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona Virus is a Fake Flag to destroy China! on: February 22, 2020, 08:18:14 PM
There are all kind of theories but at the end of the day what matters is the health of human, the dying people. IT doesn't mather how many they are, these people must be help and this proactive measures should sustain the eradication of the virus.
84  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries and their own cryptocurrency! on: February 22, 2020, 08:15:08 PM
The main problem of Governments related to cryptocurrency is the following fact: crypto is a private financial product with a huge influence and they want to control it. If the crypto coin is launched by govermanentalș institute then it is ok, but there is a private project that all are against it.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: February 22, 2020, 08:11:47 PM
If every country in the world would adopt or convert to cryptocurrency then everything would be boring, that special thing of the blockchain would be gone. At least in the situation of adoption of national crypătocoins.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: Using of Blockchain in Election on: February 19, 2020, 06:38:50 PM
It's a good appliance for block technology, everything is more transparent, each vote ca be traced and, i guess, it's more democratic compared to the traditional way.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: From 2020, the sale and custody of Bitcoin will be allowed to all German banks on: February 19, 2020, 06:36:08 PM

88  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: February 19, 2020, 06:33:00 PM
How can we get people to use bitcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to get cash as a lot of people seem to do? When I say currency, I mean the literal definition of currency as something that is used as a medium of exchange.
Even online, there are only a few stores who are accepting it as payment.
Easiest way is to give them something to buy with cryptocurrency, something common for household so people will use crypto every day,
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxes on cryptocurrencies in EU - 27 countries overview on: February 19, 2020, 06:31:29 PM
Interesting tag. The entire situation is very interesting, something like i don't recognize your virtual money but you have to pay taxes for them (Romania) and the tax percentages are very high. They could at least help us to get cheap electricity Shocked

92  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless on: February 16, 2020, 06:20:54 PM
Agreeing with your post. Never gonna be a fan of KYC, I avoid it as much as possible. The KYC-based scams are getting more popular than ever, and it's concerning. They either have to find a much better way to handle terrorism funding & money laundering or they need to just stop it. Exchanges and wallet platforms are now using it as a weapon against their own customers as if they have the right and authority to hold a customer's funds and, in the end, to basically confiscate the frozen sum. I doubt even half of their procedures is legal.

A few hours ago I was looking to join the Brave network to get some little extra revenue off browsing the internet.. too bad they require mandatory KYC..
In front of KYC policy we also have to be protected from being your id steald.
93  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The worst part about using cryptocurrencies, Newbies should be more careful. on: February 16, 2020, 06:16:18 PM
The market has started growing up and we are having new friends again, it's imperative to bring to their notice that; having a piece of background knowledge about the good side of cryptocurrency and bad side equally. During my early days, I suffered many losses in the process and while trying to make some transactions. My then app wallet was mistakenly installed which holds some altcoins and a small portion of Bitcoin. Attempt to get my wallet back proof abortive, at a time, my system was compromised and I paid heavily with my Bitcoin.

Therefore, my advice to all newbies is: ensure to write down your password for every account or app you install securely. Keep your private keys safe and secure. Also, passphrase or backups should be noted. When carrying out the transaction, ensure to double-check your outgoing address before sending it.

Cryptocurrency mistakes can be unforgiven when one makes a mistake, it happened to me in my early days in cryptocurrency.
I would add keep your wallet offline(like usb flash drive) and use the second authentication factor.
94  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Use Discord with caution on: February 16, 2020, 06:13:54 PM
That sucks. On the bright side, it wasn't a larger amount.

Also, that scam happens on social media fairly often so it's one of the oldest trick in the book.
Old but efficient, always have to be with the eyes opened, there is always someone ready to take your money.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Conferences getting Postponed. on: February 16, 2020, 05:05:35 PM
Corona Virus has been a hot issue for weeks. Aside from all the topics here relating the price to ncov, this also results in postponing some crypto-related events in Asia. Governments are trying to prevent spreading the virus inside and outside their country. Travel ban and postponing of some events were some of their actions about this issue.

Due to this virus, Binance Blockchain Week in Vietnam was postponed that was scheduled from February 29 to March 04, 2020.

Hongkong blockchain week in March 2020 also got delayed with a new date that will be announced soon.

Annually Major crypto conference TOKEN2049 in March was also moved on October 2020. "Over the past weeks, we have been monitoring the global developments around the Coronavirus closely. Whilst Hong Kong is managing the situation well and has taken strict precautions to contain any potential impact, uncertainty prevails.” noted on a blog post of TOKEN2049.

Not only crypto conferences were being affected by the said issue, but even Asian trade fairs and conventions are also postponed. China's oldest trade fair, The Canton Fair, has postponed the event that was scheduled to be held on April 15, 2020. Other events in China are The East China Import and Export Commodity Fair, SEMICON, the International Building and Construction Trade Fair, and the annual China Development Forum.

Singapore also postponed its Food & Hotel Asia’s trade show and Travel Fair NATAS Travel. While in Europe, the annual Mobile World Congress have witnessed many companies pulling out, including LG Electronics and Ericsson.

This shows how Coronavirus can affect not only in China but us globally. As a precaution and for the sake of everyone, bigger events with bigger audiences and guests mostly coming from different countries have to delayed their events.

This issue isn't just about health because even the economy can be affected by this. Companies were also being affected especially those who are based in China, stock markets are down due to the said virus. Most events stated are in China and some other countries near China. Even in my country, non-related crypto events also got postponed because it is said to avoid going to crowded places to keep yourself safe.

PS: I'm gonna delete this if it was off-topic
Quitting my boss, "safety first". It is a complicated situation for the entire world regarding this disease, this COVID 19 so all safety measures must be taken to prevent a disaster.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a Stock Market Crash affect Bitcoin? on: February 16, 2020, 05:00:14 PM
I was thinking that investors would think the cryptocurrency market as an alternative to traditional investment products.
Having said that, my point was that those two markets have a reverse impact.

If the stock market goes down, then investors would start searching for alternative (more profitable) investments and turn to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
The last days stock market crash seems that lead the market cap of the crypto market down.

Does the Stock Market has impact over the Bitcoin price?
There is no relation between the two markets. Considering the fact that many professional speculators and investors trade bitcoin in secret (no mather the evolution of stock market) they will never go public to admit bitcoin as good alternative of the stock market.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: February 16, 2020, 04:57:08 PM
Now that more and more countries are starting to go cashless (http://www.bbc.com/capital/story/20180427-does-a-cashless-society-benefit-everyone), is it possible that we also start converting to cryptocurrency? If that happens, what do you think are the advantages and disadvantages? Paying virtually is very convenient for me as I do not have to bring cash and it prevents petty theft but what is the disadvantage?

Virtual payments are available through various banking online services. Countries will adopt cryptocurrency only to get a piece from the cherry. They don't care for this domain.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we heading towards Recession? on: February 14, 2020, 06:43:33 PM
Are we heading towards recession like 2008 wherein people have cut down their spendings and companies are laying off their employees, we can see cost-cutting everywhere, is it really a recession or just the panic about an uncertain future which is creating a gloomy atmosphere everywhere?
If we had any doubt about it, not chances are high for a recession considering all the trouble in China, gigantic developers like toyota stopped the production for missing parts caused by the COVID. Recession is coming.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: How regulation affects the crypto price on: February 14, 2020, 06:41:18 PM
Problem stant in the regulation that does nothing to sustain decentralised technology, for example they could offer green certificate for using alternative energy sources. In the end they just make everything to be harder and probably it will be more complicated to launch a new project with all kind of regulations.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be the affect of Valentine day on Bitcoin Price on: February 14, 2020, 06:36:47 PM
I don't quite see how this has anything to do with each other. It's just a normal day for trading.
Perhaps today there will be extra pay option, payment being made with feelings instead of money. Just so, in the spirit of Valentine Grin
