81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the biggest mistakes made by beginners in online gambling? How can they on: April 24, 2024, 03:31:46 PM
I believe it's always about the greediness. It's going to make it easy to make yourself try to gamble and gamble. And you have now the gambler's fallacy, that if you bet a little more, you would reach that "jackpot" that you have been waiting on for so long.

This stuff can be avoided if you educate yourself by knowing why people do that and make sure that it's best you do risk management.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: April 24, 2024, 03:14:27 PM
I don't know why this is still on ongoing topic but what I want to read right now is if the Mother and Son are doing right by now or still doing dishonest stuff that would make their lives even worse. I'm hoping they changed so that they would be able to be accountable and understand what they did.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency create peer-to-peer transfer problems in the future? on: April 24, 2024, 05:03:54 AM
This is more of a personal problem in terms of humans, not a cryptocurrency problem related. It's more on the behavior of the people and not on the technology itself. Imagine it made P2P easier but it has its downsides like the possibility of not getting your money back.

If I'm going to do P2P, I would rather do it with a CEX not with direct contact unless I trust the person already. You cannot really say what could happen if you just transact out of the blue.

It's a negative aspect of being human.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the number of new investors reduce? on: April 24, 2024, 04:09:14 AM
I don't think the halving caused the new investors into Bitcoin, maybe the thought of the increase in price of BTC after halving would be the key indicator for the investors. I think it's more of the possibility not the actual halving. They might not know the reason of halving or how it works but it's mostly hyped by people but the effect of it is usually seen in the long term. I do hope that they know that.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Casino Game Has the Best Odds? on: April 23, 2024, 06:25:02 AM
Isn't blackjack the highest game that has the best odds that you would win? I remember that it's the most friendly in a way that you would win because it can be skilled based as well. Aside from poker, it's one of the games that I think I would play if ever I were to gamble.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any alternative sports gambling platforms? on: April 22, 2024, 10:28:54 AM
I think motocross is not that much popular in terms of sports betting. Well, have you tried the gambling site that you are campaigning? It seems like they have a lot of sports to bet on like futsal, waterpolo, etc. It seems like something not that popular as well.
87  Other / Meta / Re: Why is merit not common on trading discussion board on: April 22, 2024, 10:24:19 AM
I believe everyone has already given an answer that fits your question. It's most likely to be more informational on the technical discussion board and a lot of users who post there have merits. My take in this is that you can post like how people post on the technical discussion board and move it to the trading discussion. Post a more technical approach and not just any post that are repeating then you can have a chance in having merits being given.
88  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re:  Fees are spiralling out of control due to halving. on: April 22, 2024, 08:23:53 AM
I did experience it somehow a little bit before with a $50 fee. It's really too much when it comes to transactions because the expensiveness of it makes it hard for it to be used in an everyday setup. I think it's not mainly halving but it has something to do with Runes as well or something.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Panic for the Halving Hike of Tx. It will come Down Again. on: April 21, 2024, 11:31:36 PM
I read that it's all about the Runes and other BTC chain things that are new and it's eating up the transactions. I remember transacting and I had reached out and saw that it is really high in terms of TX fees I agree that it will come down soon and if you don't need to transact, don't do it yet. It's better to have that at a later date when the TX fee is lower.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest on your dependants if you too must grow further on: April 21, 2024, 11:05:58 PM
So are you saying that having to be able to "optimize" your financial growth is the solution to having no problems with financials? Like how you are going to be able to do it with optimization? The reduction of expenses and having a larger income? It's not much of the subject that you are talking about and "invest" is not the right word. Maybe it's better if it's "saving".
91  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people are less likely to accept traditional employments in this era! on: April 21, 2024, 04:47:51 PM
I see this type of thing in the place where I work where the young people experience that kind of FOMO where if you work you lose the time to do and the opportunity to do something for yourself and then they just resign altogether. It's not that they don't want money, it's that they want to be in control and they can't handle that kind of criticism.

They just want it easy and not persevere.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's Next for Bitcoin Enthusiast on: April 21, 2024, 04:25:33 PM
It usually takes after a year right? Hoping that we are to get back to normal rates and that no other problems are encountered like economic problems or wars that could take place. I do hope we reach that bull market and everyone reaches their goals. I think looking forward to the accumulation of it would be great and hopefully doubling the price of BTC. It's possibly the price that we will look into.
93  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Leverage on: April 21, 2024, 04:05:28 PM
You know that it depends on the situation. You can take advantage of being able to have more capital in a trade when you are doing that. It would just depend on the risk management that you have and you should take it with full consciousness so you could take advantage of the situation. It's more likely to push yourself in a way to boost possible earnings but it can be a double-edged sword as well.

Can you pinpoint how exchanges "push" it towards traders? Mostly it's unlockable if you agreed to some warnings that it's dangerous if it's not done with caution.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understanding the Impact of Social Media in Gambling. on: April 21, 2024, 03:40:31 PM
What I'm scared of what would happen to them is that they would think it's easy money to get from gambling. You just need to get money and then put it all into gambling. It's mostly like that and it's going to be "Magic" or easily be multiplied with gambling. We all know that's not the way and proper thing to do. I hope that young children wouldn't be expose to this kind oof things just because it's easy to access.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in a casino's bankroll...Still worth it in 2024? on: April 21, 2024, 06:43:46 AM
If you are looking to invest in the casino bankroll, I agree with you that there isn't a lot that does it anymore. It's either they already have those fundings or they just don't want to have to deal with all the hassle in producing and making sure that it won't affect their business when individuals invest. I don't think it's worth it anymore.
96  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ on: April 20, 2024, 08:29:50 PM
Currently ETH network seems to have the most fair fees. Right now its 9 Gwei and during the week it has an average of maybe 15-20 Gwei which would make the transaction cost about $0.50. The reason I choose ETH network is because most people here have used it at least once. The other networks such as Arbitrium, Lightning network, Solana, Tron, I suspect not everyone has used it here.
Why not try the BASE network? It would really be cheap compared to other networks but it's better than having that kind of enormous fee, you know? Maybe it's really time for a change or a vote?
97  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does trading belongs to everyone? on: April 20, 2024, 08:26:30 PM
Well with your observation, it's definitely true in terms of holding because there are a lot of articles and videos that show that it's worth it compared to actually trading. It's hard to do that and sometimes it could go into the gambling state because of futures or margin in some way.

I believe that in order to win, you will be here for the long term and not just short term unless you are using a bot.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for people to make a small cap meme coin successful on: April 20, 2024, 06:15:53 AM
Is it marketing a coin and letting people know about it? I think with just marketing, it's not going to reach that amount. How are you going to let investors know that it is worth investing? It's not just that but you need actual money to put into too reach that market cap.

Any results that you have done with this?
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu token, is there a future for this? on: April 19, 2024, 05:25:47 PM
It can go down more if the hype surrounding it is somewhat decaying. It''s more likely to go down if the other narratives within the cryptocurrency world focus on other coins. I don't think Shiba Inu is one of them.

Maybe you could change what token you would invest in or you will stick to it?
100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Illusion of Trading Success on: April 19, 2024, 03:27:38 PM
Well, that's their strategy and probably they used that money to make sure that they would be able to fund their trading as well. I believe there are a few people who are really honest in helping other people towards the right path and they will bring them to the path of success as well. There are signal groups that just make it with money but there are groups that are really great and helpful with their team. It's just going to be important to DYOR when you are going to follow their signals.
