You hope that, after 5 years or longer, the price of the currency will go very high.
Are you patient enough? Or could you sell the currency for other currencies when you see that the currency shows no progress after one or two years?
If I can invest over $1000 in a coin for over 8months ago, which has done x2 since my investment but I still hold because I feel the coin is undervalued, then I can do this. I am a firm cryptocurrency and blockchain believer and it has given me good income since I joined the market |

I do not hate BNB, I just think that this is a temporary popularity that came to BNB on a wave of hype. And when the time of this popularity passes, all holders of this coin will need to get rid of it.
I do not think its temporary popularity. Binance coin price surge is as a result of shear will and brilliance from Changpeng Zhao. Have you seen their activity filled road map? I am holding my bnb coins till $50 and i am certain it will reach that height |

I equally find it amusing. They are just fraudulent moves subtle done to execute cash out. I see a scam coin leveraging on the Tron brand to perpetrate scam. I wonder how people still fall for most of these scams |

Most of these coins are 2017 coins and have achieved their peak. I learnt Digitex hard fork may be coming up soon and it might yield a 50 to 100 percent return on investment especially on the short run. But you can still pick one or 2 more coins to spread your investment

Now days we have more than 1 000 altcoins on the market. The question is, are people really using them? Frankly speaking only bitcoin, ethereum and monero are used for P2P payments. All others are used mainly for speculation purposes. Is it worth buying altcoins now days? I guess no, because all of them excluding tether are following bitcoin price chart. I mean if bitcoin is going up or down, altcoins are doing same. (Tether is connected to US dollar rate and used mainly for arbitrage trading purposes) So do we really need altcoins? Regarding platforms, only ethereum is mainly used, and mostly for creating ERC tokens. All others, like waves, neo, etc are used very rarely. Monero is used mosly for shady deals because it is untraceable. (I doubt about that, because one dude who opened a shop on a dark web for selling drugs was cached by police last week. It is just best to do follow a working trend. IEOs is the new trend and most times you will find out that the exchanges have done the more difficult research for you and you now have to focus on the Tokenomics and potential ROI
