Just rcvd this email:
"Hi,
Rumours are going on atm, about a terracoin shutdown. Terracoin network is not going to be shutdown, instead we will try to exclusively depend on community consensus before applying any major modification.
the following email was sent earlier (12h48 PM GMT) as a follow-up to previous developer email's recipients ; it should explain everything:

In a difficulty algorithm, is it possible to just cap the hash each individual miner can utilize?
|
|
|
Why is BTC-E still allowing TRC to be traded?
|

I can confirm that the email was terracoin dev's, I have communicated with him before on that email.
The email is real, according to Sunny King. I'm not sure why the lead dev of a coin would announce the shutdown of his project to drive the price down. Real or not, the TRC dev has lost what little credibility was ever had. yes saw that but it doesn't mean this was spoofed or hacked email Also exactly what are the various parties involvement in this it all looks to convient I'd love to believe the email was hacked but Occam's razor applies here. The network had been under attack for the last +24 hours

I just dumped all my TRC

Very strange the github is deleted though, dev just sent this out 2 hours ago:
"Hi,
terracoin build 0.1.3-33 is now available for download at our github & sourceforge repositories, windows binary builds were just uploaded to sourceforge.
this build addresses some issues in the difficulty targetting algorithm, currently caused by heavy-armed miners controlling higher hashing power than the network itself ; it will be mandatory on block 104290.
This build will also remove the real low difficulty values recently seen on the network, following one of those hashing bursts"
thoughts?
