Let's agree that they are not idiots to sell at loss. My guess is that they have large number of units ready, with a quick calculation you will find that few thousands units can double the difficulty. It could be that they will take lots of orders before shipping large amount at once, they will sell like hot cakes

Nice, Zotac mini is half length for sure !!! if its half height and takes a single slot space then it would be perfect!! maybe by year 2018 it can happen!!
Single slot high end cards are not that popular , gamer chillings lots of money need some big bad ass cooler with lots of flashy colours. Here is single slot 1070 GTX , same can be done for 1080 but no body will buy it . http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/single-slot-galax-geforce-gtx-1070-gets-tested.html

You guys are forgetting what R9 nano did with single 8 pin and 28nm manufacturing process, those cards with more optimization and 14nm process could provide amazing efficiency,

The main reason for fluctuations for 9.0 vs 8.0 is low Dcri. For my rx470 if i set dcri less than 23 for example i notice that the power graph provided by afterburner will fluctuate every few seconds , showing that GPU power is reduced for some reason , and it happens like a clock , if i increase dcri the problem disappear .

With older version and older cards you can enable unofficial overclocking or modify configuration file for higher limit. With the new cards I have tried and tired and Googled everywhere with no luck, ended up using Wattol. Also some of the older cards had memory vddc that can be modified

i didn't use dummy plug since 2013..
i want to know what is the difference between my rigs and the rigs that require one.
If you are running RX480/RX470(new generation only). They don't boot with most boards

High ping can get you stale shares. If you are using WIFI make sure that you have very low ping
|
|
|
You have two options .
High price around 10$ can get you HDMI dummy plug that will emulate 2K or 4K screen for easy management when you use remote desktop.
Cheap price around 1.5$ can get you HDMI to VGA converter that will get the system to boot but only at 640X480 if you using remote desktop to install the drivers ,you can connect a monitor once after you install drivers once and raise the resolution and leave it at it is .

then you should wait as the 1080 ti can do well over 700 h
or on a low clock 600 and 200 watts.
I do have the
msi red led on auto notify--------- I like the rx 480 versions of it. I have 9 asus strix 3 fan on auto notify---- I like the rx 480 version of it. I have 6
I have 2 empty boards waiting for cards. If I were to get 5 1080 ti's they would be close to 3500h
You mean those Red LEDs ? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi66.tinypic.com%2F22dbh3.jpg&t=663&c=VLs4YiJ8dlOVKQ) No Sir, i dont know them . I have 5 rigs of 7 GPUs RX480 Gaming X , Best RX GPU . I have had 40 Nitro's 470 Upgraded to 480 MSI X. Better than 480 Nitro+ , better than RX480 Devil , and better than Strix and XFX. Try to Hunt Evga GPUs , Best customer support and RMA service . Personally i am limited to Amazon since it is the only store that ships to Egypt and pay all the customs and tax and in advance and deliver to your door step without headache . Currently amazon options = none .

Actually I also think that it's about time to run Nvidia gpu in the daily usage rig, I have a farm with 41 RX gpu and another one with 17 GPU. My daily rig at home running Dual RX480 all GPUs already ROI'd so it is not bad to test the other camp, not sure if I should do dual 1070 or single 1080.
go big get the 1080 ti ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) over 700h when pushed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGXZDQYEN_wI love the idea of having that top dog inside my gaming rig especially since it is paying for it self so I can justify the price, however I can't justify spending big box for reference cooling, in a week or two there will be better offerings with 30-50$ more

@tytanick Are you running out of stock, i am trying to order 3 pieces and it is saying only 2 pieces in Stock
|

If you are considering running dual PSU it might be cheaper to run two systems each with 4 GPUs, you can easily score two used H61 motherboard + CPU + ram combo cheaper than 270 MB.
I haven't seen any success stories running 8 GPUs unless some people with modded gear and none shared the solution

![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) seriously guys , leave aside cherry picked cards and post something that can run for at least 48 hours with 5/6 similar cards all running exactly same clocks and hashing at similar speed .
|
|
|
Considering that they consume very little power and very short ROI, you would expect them to mine for themselves and produce more profit than selling, they can adjust the price to be one year ROI and will sell

Do you get that error after the miner start or just in Windows? Are you using Windows 10 with 16 GB virtual memory?
just in windows 10 and i only have 8gb of ram please explain virtual memory Advanced system settings >>> Performance >>> Virtual memory (page file ) set it to 16GB

what VDDC offset? Try those on linux ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Also I didn't push the gpus too far, so they're a bit loosened..I'll post my best results on windows later. -69V From Bios . pulling around 880W ATW from 6 cards .

840W ATW 6x Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480

ATW consumption? Voltage offset? Results are great but at the end power consumption and heat is the biggest problem for the summer ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ATW is Ugly , i didnt measure for the Dual cards since they are in my 24/7 Home PC , and that Elpida was just a random test before flashing complete rig. However i have numbers for this Triple MSI RX480 Gaming X 1180/2125 DCRI 16 - 72mv , pulling nasty 550W ATW from seasonic 1250W Gold PSU ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Foi64.tinypic.com%2F2uyt3lw.jpg&t=663&c=1r_sTyvLg5j91A) I can lower the core while maintaining same memory clock with higher offset to lower ATW to 480W while losing 1MH
