81  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Population on: August 21, 2017, 01:17:36 AM
The increase in population is just a part of the problem. But I am more concerned with another fact. It is the least intelligent people who are having the babies right now. In countries such as Afghanistan and Niger, they are having average IQ of around 60-65. And these people are having a dozen children each. On the other hand, in countries with the highest IQ levels (Japan, China, South Korea.etc), the people are not having children.

That's also the reality here in our country because they are not well 'educated'. They did not even finished high school or even grade school. Therefore, educating them is still the very first thing to do.
I think for example, people in Japan are not having more children is that they are engaged/busy with their work or business.

84  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF PRESIDENT DUTERTE and his WAR on the DRUGS in the PHILIPPIN on: August 16, 2017, 10:22:52 AM
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF PRESIDENT DUTERTE and his WAR on the DRUGS in the PHILIPPINES?

for me this war on drugs is the best move that any president did..
this also shows his brave attitude.. NO ONE CAN DO IT but him because of the most politicians are
corrupt and drug money dependant

I dont think this is the best move because many people die because of this campaign about drugs. We can say that, a best decision will benefit all and maintain the equality of all the citizens. But in this campaign, some innocents die and other people are killing each other just to protect themselves from being tokhang. In this case, there are many mistakes on the decision but i think president duterte is just prioritizing the security and safeness of the majority innocent citizens.

At the start of Pres. Durterte's campaign against drugs, I have the same sentiments as you. Though there are 'lapses', it's for the greater good of the country and the citizens in the long run if this continue to succeed.
85  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to be contented on what you have? on: July 30, 2017, 01:04:09 PM
As I observed myself it looks like I never stop on planning to buy new things that I dont have yet.
I also feel what you have felt because I'm wishing to buy my wants that my parents doesn't provide such as the gadgets like cellphone, branded clothes and good looking shoes. But I realize that you should use your money well especially in limiting yourself to be insecured with other people. Needs is better than wants because even though you don't buy the things you want still you survive but if you don't prioritize your needs therefore you've been failed to your journey in this world.

It is not bad to dream something or plan on buying new things which you don't have. Just like you, I also want to buy all that I want.

And yes, needs first before wants. I think people have different perspective of the word contentment. I grew up in a simple family where I learn to appreciate and be contented with what we have in life. I'm thankful that somehow my parents managed to provide us things that we need.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: July 30, 2017, 11:41:47 AM
I can see that people nowadays are busy searching on money and everything depends on money. People nowadays never go to church just because they would rather earn money rather than praise God. Others do not pay respect to elders  because they earn money for them or richer than them. Well for you, is money above all things ?
Money is the basic need to be able to live. How can you buy food  or everything you in your daily without money.
Money can dictate a person whether he will do crime  or not. Money is the main thing to do evil works.

The problem nowadays is that some people 'praises' (their) money which is bad.

Basically we need money in order to sustain our lives. Every thing now has a price so you can't blame people why they depend or want to earn money. But earning money is not an excuse to at least thank God for everything.

Me too. I can tell what they are thinking or feeling through their actions and through their eyes even when they are not talking or saying anything. And mostly I'm correct.  Cheesy

Mind reading? I don't know.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: July 28, 2017, 06:38:14 AM
I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world

What is your opinion this time?
I agree with that, it reduces unemployment. Because of the growing population the number of unemployed increases. But with bitcoin they can earn money tru working by exerting time, effort, and hardwork. With the money they got from bitcoin increases the money circulating around the country that can also help the economy like a real employed person.
If unemployment means no work or no salary earned, yes I definitely agree that it reduces unemployment. Because in bitcoin there are ways to earn money more than being employed. For some people who enjoy bitcoin, they are actually richer than an average employed person. Of course it also takes a lot of efforts to learn and succeed.
Unemployed is a 'government' status where an individual person has the ability to do work but doesn't have a job. There are many factors that affects unemployment, one is a country having too little of available jobs that eventually tends to this.

Now back to Bitcoin earning. It is decentralized, meaning the government have no connection to it whatsoever. Making it tax free regardless of how much you earned. If the government don't have the authority or you don't have the tax of an employed citizen then you're still considered Unemployed.

I will agree with you. Even though he is earning Bitcoin, he is not considered employed; so it does not really reduces unemployment. But we cannot deny the fact that many people's lives had changed thru earning Bitcoin.
89  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: July 23, 2017, 07:23:36 AM
At first I didn't agree with having death penalty. But when you watch the news and see all those fucked up things people do without remorse, most likely you would want them dead too, especially if you're connected to the victims. The only problem is false accusations. Lets say they hang a killer because of manslaughter and after a week later they realized that he wasn't the real killer, well shit. You cant bring the life of that man back. as opposed to just jailing them.

I strongly agree to bring back death penalty too on those who committed grievous crimes . Well I think the authorities would really prove that a killer really killed someone so as not to give wrong verdict.
90  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where would society be without the internet? on: July 22, 2017, 10:42:31 AM
Here in India, there is a district called Darjeeling. The government has banned internet there for more than a month now, and people are facing extreme hardships because of that. A lot of people are traveling up to 100 km, just to check their emails and bank account details. The internet ban was imposed by the chief minister of the West Bengal state (Momta Bonerjee), who is popularly known as the Kim Jong Un of India.

Why ban the Internet there? Shocked

Well, that was tough for the people of that district. I can't imagine the situation of people in which Internet became part of their lives.

Research will be a pain, libraries will be crowded, and various works that are provided by the internet will be nonexistent but aside from that, with the internet out of our daily lives, it will give us more time time to bond with our friends and family. I see a world were people venture out more often, talking to each other and appreciating the beauty of life.

I am studying a computer course that really uses the Internet. Without Internet, I don't think we can work fully or we can apply all what we had studied. Internet is our life, this is what makes us alive.
93  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: July 16, 2017, 01:31:02 PM
It is up to parents to educate their children on appropriate use of technology. Unfortunately there are many parents who also have an unhealthy obsession with scrolling through news feeds and living for social media approval.  Sad

Very true. Instead of attending to their children, they're holding their cellphones all day. And sad to say that nowadays, in order for their children to behave in public, parents would give their children cellphone/tablet and let them play games or watch something.
94  Other / Off-topic / Re: The most painful thing in your life on: July 15, 2017, 06:38:46 AM
I think the most painful things that we could experience in life is losing someone we love .

Yeah, losing someone is the most painful thing in my life for now. Losing my baby brother just days after his birth is one of the memories I will never forget.

97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: June 29, 2017, 06:34:11 AM
Faucet claiming, of course, I think everyone who was new to Bitcoin started with faucet because it's the easiest way to colloect Bitcoin

I also started with faucet because as you've said, it's easy. You'll just have to wait and collect. I also earned my first bitcoins in a Paid-to-Click (PTC) site, it didn't matter to me if the rate is low. As I received my first payment, I was overwhelmed  Grin And I joined here in Bitcointalk. At first, I have no idea at all on how to earn here so I just read and read the threads. And now, I joined in my first signature campaign.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: June 28, 2017, 02:31:00 PM
2 things:
First of all, Bitcoin is just money; nothing special there that would end poverty.
Second, a lot of poor people don't have an internet connection; so how are they supposed to use Bitcoin?

But even if they have internet connection and gadget and electricity to use bitcoin, that is not enough to "end world poverty". There are many things to consider also. It would be realistic if through bitcoin it end someone's life from poverty, but to end WORLD POVERTY? I don't think so.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: June 27, 2017, 02:34:05 PM
Currently, I intend and try to accumulate as much bitcoins as I can and afterwards keeping them till the price reaches prices that I consider sufficient to sell at (which probably won't be soon, so it will be long term holding).

That's the right thing to do as earning bitcoins will become more difficult in future when the price will be even higher so try to get as many as can at a moment and hold them till it reaches to the best price and that would be the best time to sell bitcoins to gain higher profits.

I agree with you.Seize the moment. We really don't know what's for tomorrow. So i prefer to earn bitcoin today as much as i can so that there's no worries for my future. All bitcoins i have are really for my future purposes except for some emergency cases that are unstoppable.

Me too. Just work and work and try to earn many bitcoins as much as I can. I want to earn bitcoins so that I can help my parents and for future purposes too. For now, I will keep my bitcoins. I'm positive that the price of bitcoin will continue to rise even more.
100  Other / Off-topic / Re: Secret of Happiness on: June 27, 2017, 01:26:24 PM
combo of people around you and money. simple as that.

money will get you whatever you want but if you're (doing it) alone you're pretty much screwed

Right. The secret to happiness is all about sharing (a combination of money and love)  Because sharing is caring  Cheesy
