Hi, I've uncovered few mysteries behind the Bytecoin's blockchain and other puzzles:

What's happening with 1200 BTCD given to Bitcoinprbuzz? There was one press release one month ago, that was just ACCESSWIRE paid press release, this is what shitcoins use to get into yahoo and make a false big deal of it.. Nobody cares about these scam-paid PRs.

I was offering some real marketing, to spend 40 hours in the planes to talk during my speech about Teleport in China Bitcoin Expo, maybe hand out some flyers ot chinesse investors/journalists, talk about BTCD with some most influencal people in the crypto world at the event, because this topic says: "Bounty Opportunities". I have all sources prepared now thanks to my 2-days works on http://www.coinssource.com/supernets-coin-offering-raises-over-2000-bitcoins-hours/, but nobody decided to support this offer

Your story makes me remember this user:

He also did lost is password.

Hello all. I haven't been here for a while so I saw your BCN thread for the first time yesterday evening. You know what? It seems to me I had been mining Bytecoin in 2012.

I was at Bitcoin London Conf in 2012 and went to have a beer with friends to the nearest pub last evening. I met a guy there (don't remember his name. something like Jeff or John, maybe).
He told me about ring signatures and mentioned something about CryptoNote. I felt interested and tried to ask him for more details. He was with a company too(10 or 12 people meetup) so our conversation was rather short. We chatted a bit and he gave me a card with .onion website address. He said it would be a currency of the future and I had to mine it.

Another thing i just stumbled on is they mentioned a meeting somewhere in London around Sept. 2012. Around the same time there was a Bitcoin Conference in the same city.

https://sites.google.com/a/bitcoin2012.com/homepage/speakers

It was mentioned before, sounds legit. Jeff Garzik anyone?

Jeff Garzik? Maybe, I don't remember. But doesn't look like a guy.

Old community army is coming at us? Lol.

So, been mining much in 2012?

I used to mine with my old laptop. Difficulty wasn't that high and I used to find blocks rather regularly. So I did around 100M for a week, but I saw no reason to mine further since I knew no places
to spend it. Also I didn't know where it came from and where it would be.

This is the last post of this user. Never again is been activ, very strange IMO.

I don't have the .onion address. But it looked similar to the one mentioned earlier.
And as I have already told I have the wallet keys files, but nothing else.

What's so weird about mining on laptop?

UPD: Here's the file if you want to have a look https://anonfiles.com/file/a6a540eeb9b5fb8be89460951457a9fb

but in the BCN blockchain, ther actually is a link to this tweet from September 2012:
https://twitter.com/unSYSTEM2013/status/243726820984369153 post during that time.
Also locations of the meetings were post in the blockchain, see http://www.coinssource.com/the-mysteries-and-puzzles-behind-the-cryptonote-technology/

Is there another place to download the Windows wallet other than the mega link?  The link isn't working and I want to move the coins I bought off the exchange.

Thanks

I am uploading it for you with dropbox.

I have uploaded the windows wallet here.
it is the original as I have downloaded it from the OP on July 14

I could be Talking about Teleport in front of the whole Crypto industry in Shanghai.

Just in 2 weeks I will be talking about anonymous technologies at the http://bitcoinexpo2014.com/ in China. I think there will be tons of experts and service providers etc curious also about Teleport.

In order to add the Teleport into my speech I would have to invest significant amount of time to do the research and to make some nice infographics (like I did https://i.imgur.com/lHhDQ4k.png + https://i.imgur.com/pMkJqMt.jpg). Including consultations with university profs. But since researching and presenting cryptos is still my only job, I am asking for donations in order to do that, to research Teleport and to present it there Wink (see my signature)

That research and content will be then used also at the CoinsSource news site, where I am publishing, so there could be be more articles, some interviews with the BTCD devs etc. But still I feel that presenting Teleport in front of these people http://bitcoinexpo2014.com/#speakers, 20 media outlets with more attention to the chinese market could help Teleport become more accepted by the mainstream.

When people speak just about one solution, it's just cheap self-promo. But if the Teleport was shown in the bigger picture, among other technologies, with real examples how it could be used... then it should have a higher effect, since I am still an independent researcher, not just a marketing monkey

This is absolutely fantastic Grin . I hope you get all the assistance you need to prepare. I am sure the community would appreciate being kept up to date on presentation. Info-graphics, and yours look really good, are always just so helpful to convey difficult subject matter.

Good luck!

I finally got my Visa. My offer is still valid. I spent only a weekend (30 hours) with the Teleport stuff, so I have some sources, but CryptoNote research took a month (300 hours) and a paper will be released tomorrow

While investors just buy in and have normal life, go to pubs to grab some drinks and chicks, I spent the whole weekend (30 hours) without sleeping (no girls and drinks), but with the Supernetwork and a tea:

bla
jl777 earned 125 mil Nxt coins in 6 months, so 20 mil in one month, 5 mil in a week that has cca 100 James-working-hours.

So one hour of James's work costs 50,000 Nxt coins = 2,000 USD.

1 minute of James's time spent on reading the troll texts costs 30 USD, what a waste of money

Why don't the developers promote the coin? Promotion is as necessary as technology, service support, the name of the coin and updates. Now i can see that developers pay attention only to the code and have forgotten about other necessary things to move the coin forward.

Promoting the coin needs the dev's effort, it will expose who they are, which is not optimal for them considering they have premined 80% of the coins.
Satoshi also premined 1 mil Bitcoins.

University of Economics in Prague NXT project UPDATE #2: Schedule

written by hassen:

UPDATE 2nd September: At the moment, 22k Nxt have been contributed, over 2 million forging power has been leased and qqNxt kindly pledged other 10k for possible rewarding of the participants. Thank you very much folks, you are great!

A timetable for the project was set up:

4th week in September: Tosch110-a sociologist from Berlin-will come to Prague to help me prepare the sociological parts of the project

1st week in October: I will present the project to hundreds of Bachelor and Master students at the University of Economics in Prague and invite them for a lecture.

2nd week in October: A lecture will be held for academic public with participation of Nxt expert Salsacz. Nxt will be introduced and the project will be explained in depth. The applicants will have chance to enroll for the project. I am going to distribute the money to them according to the number of applicants and the amount of Nxt I will have.

During the semester: Participants will discover how to use Nxt and how to think about cryprocurrencies and distributed networks. They will work on their papers. I am going to give them consultations concerning both Nxt and world economics.

After the semester: Papers concluding the economical and sociological outputs of the project will be written and presented on conferences (crypto and scientific).
If you like the project, I'm kindly asking you to contribute some Nxt for it. Taking in account the current exchange rate, I could only engage ca. 30 people now, I guess. I believe the potential is bigger.

Discussion: https://nxtforum.org/nxt-projects/university-of-economics-in-prague-nxt-project/

Since I don’t have resources for supporting the project, I am kindly asking the Nxt community to crowdfund the project. If you like the idea, please send a contribution to this address I opened solely for the purpose of crowdfunding of this project: 13727074986936672578 / NXT-7AC4-Z4SS-UNXK-DX42X. The more money I acquire, the more students I can involve. I would like to work with 30 - 100 students.
