Is there something wrong with all of rescuecoin or just at hashlink? Just got auto notices from my mining software a bit ago that pool is down. Checked stats at website and all at zero. Any ideas whats up?
Have a Good Day
Edit - Never mind it's back up.
In my miner command line I set a backup pool. I'm using cgminer and the option is "--failover-only -o <somepool>". Happy mining

Fair article but nevertheless incomplete. If the author would have done a sneak peek in this forum he should have noticed that there is an active dev team and a committed community which is not unimportant in the crypto world.

Looking at the richlist shows me that the 2 richest addresses are holding 51% of the total amount of judgecoin at Bittrex. Something I should be worrying about?
I wouldn't say so no, supposedly most of the coins are in offline wallets and it would not be in Bittrex's interest to damage any coin as they would ruin their exchange. As always though, we strongly recommend that you store all coins in a personal wallet unless you are intending to actually trade the coin. Leaving it on an exchange can seem logical but is does create the potential for attacks and if anything happens to an exchange, it is your coins that will be targeted. and BTW, those two addresses are Bittrex's, not two whales' potential dumps. Those are like intermediate addresses where Bittrex keeps different users' coins together. But the fact that more than 60% of the coins are on exchange really really scares me...I hope everyone who has interest in Judgecoin in the long run could move their coins to an offline wallet, that's way more safer... I mean... think about vericoin on Mintpal.... and staking is always far less risky than trading :p 2 hours ago my stake weight was more than 70% of the net weight. I think that's also because no single coin ever left my wallet. Anyway I don't think it's healthy for the coin that the majority of the coins is on Bittrex.

We should have finish PoW much earlier.
Too much coins means inflation indeed, but I can't tell if about 12M after PoW would be too much. Yeah right, not in the long run. A short dip is rather an opportunity to buy in but newcomers might be scared. Let's hope that the team stands toe to toe so we can look forward to a bright future.

Judge Coin Price on Bittrex...https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-JUDGEThe supply of Judge Coin looks to be overtaking demand. In short unless new buy orders come in we will be looking at a significant price dip. Even if the price dips there is no need to panic. It is simply the market working correctly. We are releasing onto the market roughly 12 million Coins over 2-3 weeks. In effect the pools and bittrex are doing the coin distribution right now. If you are a supporter of Judge Coin please spread the word. If you know of people that are getting hammered on scam coins bring them over here. Spread the word on social media! (This is probably the best thing you can do)http://www.facebook.com/judgecoinhttp://www.twitter.com/judgecoinhttp://www.reddit.com/r/JudgeCoin/ We should have finish PoW much earlier.

Everyone here sounds like cryptoangles.
I feel Judge Coin is like a refuge from the chaos, danger, and suffering out in crypto land. Haha :] You guys remind me of Mormons. This sounds really promising... But as a creative-type myself, I think we need to organize some better branding/wallet/website design for JUDGE, if I decide to invest. How are the plans with those sorts of things, so far? All in progress, right now we are laying the foundations. We're slowly building up our community and making changes to the wallets. As we've maintained from the outset, we aren't going to promise crazy features and the like, this is more than that. The features will come in time, we already have one of the best looking wallets and an inbuilt block explorer which puts up above so many of the coins out there. We will only improve everything we have and our foundations are solid. Now we can start building up. Very nice, but do you specifically have any designers on board yet? I may be interested... a bit poor but would accept JUDGE. If you don't like what you see just make some suggestions here.

Happy Birthday!!! Which one is it?
Happy birthday, Bonn3rs!

Question: I posted an article about JudgeCoin on FB today on my main page. Does that count as well?
Thank you all Rainer425- Absolutely! Couple more coins heading your way in the next payout round. Grifftech2k4-One that makes me feel old but the rest of you will tell me is definitely not, my 20th. Thanks a lot. I'm absolutely determined to support this coin. More articles hopefully will follow.

I would just like to post how happy I am to have Judge still be so active on the forum and for keeping up with the coin's development! There are only 2 other coins that I am mining that even come close to the activity level of Judge and his team. Also I think there is a great and supporting community here as well. These are IMHO the 2 most important factors in having a long term successful coin! Keep up the great work!
Have a Great Day!
Alright, let me add another 2 factors: the vision to establish a trustworthy currency in contrast to the other 99% scamcoins. And, finally, building a user-friendly environment, such as a beautiful wallet, block explorer, own mining pool, and maybe a radio show.

For an annual interest of 6% you have to solve this equation: in which x = 0.016% daily. And this is roughly what I get for my coins. And as I understand, it is compound interest so your interest is earning interest to make that 6%. So after 2 years it will be equivalent of ~12.3% total interest. That's correct. 12.36%

Looking at my stake weight I have more than 25% of the network weight. There must be a lot of coins on exchanges. What for? Dumping?
How many coins are you staking? How long have you held them before you started to stake? I got my first coins on July 7, then continued mining and buying and never transferred any coins away from my wallet. Edit: I have roughly 16K. First of all we really need a good PoS guide. Not many people including myself really understand at the math level how PoS works. From what I have read your coin age is a factor. Through a formula that is factored with your total coins produces a steak weight. So if you hold your coins for a while on first stake you kind of move to near the front of the line. After that initial stake your coin age drops which should give you a lower stake value. You wrote "steak weight": yummy! From what I know about staking a coin loses its age when transferred. So if all other coin holders don't move their coins their stake age must decrease as well. Edit: Btw the OP says nothing about a max coin age. Yeah, I did say steak If DOGE goes PoS they should make it Steak! Have to dig out the max coin age and post. Then again I am going to bounty someone to write PoS guide. Nice pun! Just to be clear: my initial post was NOT a complaint. Glad you pointed it out Pointing things out that need to be fixed is encouraged here! Before we take on bigger and better things we should be rock solid on base coin technical specifications and wallet operation. This is how I understand PoS applied to JUDGE For Judgecoin specifically, PoW and PoS blocks are independent. Just as you're betting your consumed electricity and mining time vs. the possible PoW-block's reward, in the PoS blocks you're betting your coin-age: the amount oF JUDGE you own multiplied by the number of hours they've sat idly in your wallet. It must be a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of X for your coins to start generating tickets for the PoS raffle. Should your ticket win, you earn 6% interest and lose all your coin-age, so your coins are, from the network POV, as though you had just received them. I.e. you'll need to wait another 24 hours for them to be able to pay you interest again. Over time, though, you're just supposed to earn about 6% annually.
