Some advice please. If I transfer CENT from Cryptsy to my wallet on my desktop, will they transfer? I heard there might be a problem but I had not choice to clear my coins out of Crytpsy as I have lost coin and have been given the run around.

There shouldn't be any problems with coin transfers I'm aware of unless there's something wonky on cryptsy's end. Where's a link to a client download for CENTS?
Can we have binary repos like shake did? It was really helpful for keeping up to date.

Yesyes, as I said earlier, I'll post more on pennies once i've ironed out a few details.
As for the doubloons dif roller coaster, someone has kindly submitted a pull request that I'm reviewing now. After some testing it should be released sometime this week.

QUESTION TO THE_CATMAN is it possible to stop mining this currency? We have so many coins already that it is enough? If mining will be stopped price will explode that is sure ... What do you think, good or bad idea ?
Mining is required for transactions to work on any coin network, if everyone stops mining the chain will stall. Besides, the inflation isn't coming form mining, it's from the misplaced decimal in the stake system. |

Alright everyone, I've been talking with shake about pennies and we've come up with a couple solutions. I'll let you know more when i iron out some details. It would be great if PENNIES/CENT worked again. I cannot even open the wallet! I downloaded the zip but when I open it, the piggybank stays minimised in the tray and never fully opens. ...no, you have to use the wallets built in mine, as directed above. This is based on Quark, and as far as I'm aware there is no standalone miner for it yet. Even if there was, it wouldn't make much difference. |

frozen.conf is the file, try some of the new nodes i just added. remember to restart the wallet after updating the conf. |

It seems the foocoin source i ripped from barcoin may be a little more broken than i thought and may or may not actually build. For now if you want to make a scrypt PoW clone coin you can use https://github.com/RazorLove/smallchange as a base, this is more or less 98% identical to foocoin anyway. |

Coinchoose will break the coin again probably, doubloons is a just-for-fun coin, it's retarget window is to damn high and the coin stalls every other diff adjust when people try to mine it for profit.
Seriously, it's a joke coin, stop trying to make a profit off monopoly money.

I hope that CENT get revived sooner or later, whats the % of that happening?
see: I'll be looking at the issues with pennies in more detail over the coming days, I have a lot to sort through right now and I'm not completely aware of all the details regarding it's problems yet.
**I'll also note that pennies was never really meant to be taken as a serious currency (neither were doubloons and geocoin) and was never even officially announced on BTCT, so whatever problems it has are not exactly a high priority issue.
