81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons of why bitcoin accepting shopping sites are not famous on: April 15, 2017, 11:15:50 AM
They will be famous soon as bitcoin goes more mainstream thanks to smartphones and bitcoin wallet apps. Well,  majority of people are now using smartphones and so mobile payment is becoming more of a payment option and that includes bitcoin wallet apps. I remember reading an article about this that and more and more people use smartphones,  mobile payment will become the first choice of payment. When that happens, many stores will support bitcoin payments via bitcoin wallet apps.
82  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: April 15, 2017, 11:06:49 AM
No dollars will never be replaced with another currency but bitcoin will become more popular and more popular as time pass by because of smartphones. Majority of people use smartphones these days as more affordable ones goes into sale. Thanks to bitcoin wallet apps people can use the crypt currency easily but just scanning a QR code and the transaction is done.
83  Other / Off-topic / Smartphones are vital to bitcoin growth on: April 12, 2017, 03:18:05 AM
More and more people are using smartphones thanks to budget friendly mid-rangers, almost anyone can now afford to buy a smartphone.

Mobile payment is becoming more common and it is an opportunity to acquaint people more into using bitcoin . Mobile payment will eventually replace credit cards or at least will make them less mainstream. An example  of this is Apple Pay. Bitcoin smartphone wallet  apps are to use when you have a transaction, you just scan a qr code and the transaction is done though will take some time to be confirmed.

84  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your best android online game? why? on: April 11, 2017, 04:16:10 AM
Well I only play Asphalt 8 Airborne now in Gear VR headset. I would say the graphics is good and the sense of speed is there. No better way to play than in VR.I'm bored with other games so I started making my own instead with Unity 5. Checkout the development video logs

85  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: April 10, 2017, 08:37:24 AM
Bitcoin is a relatively new form of currency that is just beginning to hit the mainstream, but many people still don’t understand why they should make the effort to use it. Using of bitcoin it helps because it’s fast, it’s cheap, central governments can’t take it away, there are no charge backs, people can’t steal your payment information from merchants, it isn’t inflationary, it’s as private as you want it to be, you don’t need to trust anyone else, you own it, you can create your own money.

Bitcoin is better than cash, reason is it is decentralized, more secured, easy to use and easy to convert. Major benefit is by saving the btc you can easily get the benefit from it. where as in the case of currency the value of currency goes down due to inflation.

If we talk about savings and accessibility it is a positive point for bitcoin since fiat currency cannot do that thing. Bitcoin can be used around the globe without converting it to fiat currency. But let us not forget to also keep hold of paper money since not all areas in all country has an internet connection especially the outskirts and that is why I prefer bitcoins for savings and paper money for purchases.

Yes you buy btc and hold them and wait for the price to rise and then sell them for $. I heard companies are working on to bring internet to more areas around the world. I heard about using drones with Wi-Fi antennas that people can connect to for free, says Zuckerberg. So we can access internet more easily in the future and it will benefit bitcoin! Think about it,  internet would be omnipresent in the future.

Hindi no safe ngayon. Mga terrorists sympathizers gumagante gaya ng truck sagasa sa Sweden
87  Economy / Economics / Re: It's Time To Get Painfully Honest: Banks Are Evil on: April 08, 2017, 07:18:21 AM
I know how they try to make money. They milk as much money as possible from their customers by introducing not-really necessary services and life insurance. They try to attract you with their promos. I just opened my account last week.  To be safe, I only open an account on top banks renowned worldwide.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be used to support terrorists? on: April 08, 2017, 07:12:58 AM
Just a quick fact check, fiat is the main currency used to support terrorism. Nothing has changed right?

Bitcoin's market cap is far too low to finance a huge terrorist organisation. If it were to happen, rules imposed on exchange (AML/KYC) policies can help to prevent it. It is hard to purchase anything with Bitcoin without exchanging to fiat first.

not to mention that terrorist buying bitoin for their activity would actually support bitcoin, more than bitcoin supporting them

i mean terrorist don't have any way to have bitcoin minus buying, if they were really using bitcoin, right now the price would be higher

I believe it's being used ever since. In the deep web I see some contract killers for hire and you pay them bitcoins to kill me or other person, for example. I've heard some secret ISIS sites in the deep web too and anonymous is on high alert about these terrorist sites.  I'm sure they are using bitcoin to fund their cause.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Is USD being used for illegal activities? on: April 08, 2017, 07:05:50 AM
I see more and more articles of the USD being used for illegal activities, such as funding of terrorists and unconstitutional, illegal wars, funding of wars that cause severe infringement of civil liberties like /2012/12/06/opinion/branson-end-war-on-drugs/]the war on drugs, among other things. I am pretty sure that when goons smash into convenience stores and steal stuff, then the money they probably steal is USD, which makes it criminal currency. Also, I am pretty sure that the baseball bats that majority of the goons have bought were paid for by the USD.

Also, most people collect rain water, drink raw milk, and throw cannabis seeds in soil, all three acts which are considered serious illegal felonies punishable by seriously expensive fines and extensive jail time, possibly life in prison.

Some people also walk, drive, fish, or hunt without a permit that can easily be bought for in USD.

Will this hurt USD in the long run? Will governments ban this just like they started to do with paying in cash for some services to harden the use of illegal activities, and money laundering?

Not only now but USD has already been used since before generations ago, since its a currency bad things always happens. Some people would say money is the root of all evil.

Yeah even bitcoin is being used to commit heinous crimes such as on deep web red rooms where people bet bitcoins to do harm to a person tied to a chair. The activity will commence when the host feels that the amount of bitcoins bet is high enough
90  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: April 08, 2017, 06:50:24 AM
I only stick world renowned banks and take safety measures when I'm transacting or withdrawing money from my ATM.  The actual danger is when you fail to secure your ATM card details from thieves. Again, the bank is following a protocol and will not terminate an account for no reason at all unless the bank went bankrupt.
91  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is a war against china the only option? on: April 07, 2017, 07:09:37 AM
@ Masha Sha, I presume you'll be amoungst the first to sign up for some front line action?

or just a keyboard warrior Smiley

Keyboard warrior is well said. Unfortunately, I know of another warrior's Twitter is Trump. He also says that make America great, but effective strategy he has no.

Keyboard warriors, they control predator drones using keyboards and joysticks. They strike right into the heart of the enemy and it gives them heart attack. The enemy fear the skies thanks to these keyboard warriors piloting computer controlled Predator drones .

Weapons are going digital and the Chinese are getting more technologically capable. They now manufacture their own jets.
92  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Andriod Games for Bitcoin to introduce kids? on: April 07, 2017, 07:02:38 AM
Try Satoshi Miner from Google  Play.

I once saw a post here about DOTA competition where the winners will receive bitcoin prices. I like the idea by the way. The same can be done with Android games.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: April 07, 2017, 06:52:43 AM
So the price has risen again! This is good time to sell.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: April 05, 2017, 03:48:59 AM
I save bitcoin just to take advantage of the rising price. When the price is low, that is when I buy bitcoins.
95  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favourite FPS? on: April 04, 2017, 01:48:20 AM
I was skeptical at first but Call of Duty Infinite Warfare is really good when I tried it one day since I have nothing better to do.  I kinda liked it.  It plays like Mass Effect and Call of Duty combined.
96  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Begginer asking for help on: April 04, 2017, 01:44:19 AM
Most of these site are ponzi scams. I've been there and done that back in my early days of using bitcoins.  You're better of buying bitcoins and hold into them and watch the price rise.

98  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't get Hacked! Copy-Paste Virus!! on: April 04, 2017, 01:28:16 AM
I remember being infected with that virus back in my early days of using bitcoin. I now switched to using Linux as my computer professor suggested. I didn't have any problems with virus ever since.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: How a cashless society could kill Bitcoin. on: April 04, 2017, 01:22:52 AM
I theorize that the payment method would be by a chip worn as a bracelet and you sync it to a scanner and the transaction is complete. It will then be embedded in the human body, fusing man and machines. Bitcoin will still exist and there would be such wearable hardware wallets. There would still be companies who exchange bitcoins for electric fiat currency.
100  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Facebook now requiring photo id, fuck you facebook on: April 04, 2017, 01:13:20 AM
Facebook is a plague, sadly, many use it blindly with little regard to their privacy.

They sell your personal records to advertising  companies . I stopped using facebook when it required that I upload my ID
