I can't seem to make this work for alternatepool.com .

Point Your Miner To:
stratum+tcp://miner.alternatepool.com:3333
Username: <Your BTC Address>

Code:
cudaminer -o stratum+tcp://miner.alternatepool.com:3333 -u 1ABGZH6oWW6QbkPG4JEajC2q2bFMaJAhci -p x

Here is my output:

Code:
[2013-12-03 22:44:06] 1 miner threads started, using 'scrypt' algorithm.
[2013-12-03 22:44:06] Starting Stratum on stratum+tcp://miner.alternatepool.com:
3333
[2013-12-03 22:44:06] Binding thread 0 to cpu 0
[2013-12-03 22:44:23] stratum_recv_line failed
[2013-12-03 22:44:23] ...retry after 15 seconds
[2013-12-03 22:45:07] stratum_recv_line failed
[2013-12-03 22:45:07] ...retry after 15 seconds
[2013-12-03 22:45:36] stratum_recv_line failed

btw, I have this working fine on multipool.us

That is odd..works fine for me on that pool   did you try -O   Address:x  instead?

For $400 , best bet would be 2 x R9-270's.

When I visit primedice it redirect me to twitter. Is it normal ?

Read the twitter threads, bitcoin-d got backed up. He disabled the site instead of people worrying about why they weren't receiving bitcoin.

PrimeDice keeps crashing Chromium since it's online again... What do? (no errors, no logs, no nothing. OS = Debian 7)

EDIT: I think it happens whenever I go bust during automated betting... Faulty JS?

Nope, I did 10 autobets on chrome and it works fine. http://screencloud.net/v/wEHK

he means Chromium Linux based not chrome for windows

Site is offline right now, we are aware and working on getting it back up. Sorry for any inconvenience.

On twitter it says that there are updates going on, but this post makes it seem like a ddos attack or some failure. Which one is it?

I would say Error since I got some huge error log pop up just before it went off Smiley

took a screen shot.

O_o can I see?

PM Sent. Smiley

Will be online within a few hours! Issues with the database. All is well though.

Sorry to seem impatient, but your post was at 6 am. It's now 2 pm Sad Website went down yesterday around 7 pm.
What's happening?

according to him a database problem. though seems like they would have a backup

I don't know what it's like when a database goes down, not familiar with it Smiley
I can only go by what Stunna posted about ETA: few hours. Smiley

typically you'd have a backup of a database, and it would only take a few hours to restore. from time stamp on twitter it has been 16 hours. I've had an exchange (mail server) database go corrupt, and found out the previous tech never set a backup. That took almost 12 hours to recover the database. Not a fun work day at all.

99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: November 07, 2013, 01:07:13 PM
Nope, drivers are all up to date on my 9400gt and gtx 295.  I've gotten it to work on my laptop (with gt 520m) and my brother's macbook (gt 650m).  I'm guessing it's something with the configuration value.  Any more suggestions?

there new switches like -K and -F Christian posted them a couple pages back. I would suggest you try them. You could also disable the 9400gt and try just mining with the gtx295, then do the same with the other one. to try to determine if one is working or not

Nope, doesn't work.  I autotuned and now have the values -l L30x3,L30x3,L4x2    Still has the validation issue with the cpu

make sure drivers are up to date.
