81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So the ETH merge has finally happened on: September 16, 2022, 09:31:16 AM
A new system has been started, known as proof-of-stake or a new concept which states that one can mine or validate transactions according to the number of coins held. I hope this will make it easier for everyone holding Ethereum even if the price goes down because this is just the beginning of this merger happening and transaction fees are cheap and I'm sure by the end of this Ethereum merger all dead projects will come back to life to continue their launch using this Ethereum Merge.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS NOT DEAD! on: September 16, 2022, 08:55:02 AM
From the past until now many people have stated and assumed that bitcoin was dead but in fact Bitcoin still exists today. All Fuds about bitcoin are dead, in my opinion, there are a lot of people who buy and hold Bitcoin so there is a big bubble, making the price higher and until now Bitcoin is still there but still in correction.
Bitcoin can never be dead looking at the way and how far it has come from. Even with the current down market Bitcoin is still going to survive and all holders will be very happy to be holding it since it has great movement from the beginning. The government may want it dead but I am very convinced that with time it is going to become currency for all.
It is true that Bitcoin will never die forever because all investors strongly believe that Bitcoin will have a bright future and bring good luck to all its holders, therefore bad news about Bitcoin will not work for Bitcoin. Maybe governments that ban Bitcoin from entering their country will expect Bitcoin to die, but if you say it will be a currency for all, I don't think that's possible, because governments are still very strong in holding their currency as a means of payment.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to find some coins from late 2008 or early 2009 on: September 16, 2022, 08:36:08 AM
Will not move on i will continue to search but was hoping for a better response. Hopefully their eyes see this post.
Goodluck. Try looking at the forum's earliest posts or browsing the net. You'll probably see old and defunct exchanges like bitcoinmarket.com come up in your search but they were launched around 2010.
Yes, that's right, looking for old threads posted on this forum will definitely find you, the problem is the thread in question still exists or not, because it's been a very long time, and the bitcoinmarket.com website appeared in 2010, while he was looking for a website for his coin at the end of the year 2008 - 2009 certainly will not be found there, I think it is very difficult to find something old problem that you did, because there is a possibility that the site you were playing at at that time was closed or run away.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin changed my life on: September 16, 2022, 08:06:20 AM
It is absolutely true that Bitcoin has changed people's lives. Because people can invest and earn from home, there is no greater opportunity than that. This is either your neighborhood or big investors. Notice that everyone is an investor. So Bitcoin can definitely change people's lives.
Yes it's true, Bitcoin changes everyone's life a lot, but it all depends on the person himself, if that person can't store Bitcoin to hold it maybe all of that will be in vain, because everyone needs money for their needs. But if someone owns another business and Bitcoin as his long term investment, maybe that person will change his life in the future.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rug pull scams on: September 15, 2022, 06:38:58 AM
Rug pull scams "pumping up" a new project, nonfungible token (NFT) or coin to get funding. After the scammers get the money, they disappear with it. The coding for these investments prevents people from selling the bitcoin after purchase, so investors are left with a valueless investment.
It seems that fraud is so rampant everywhere that they always justify any means to do it, like what you say here. Therefore, never believe in new projects that come and provide very attractive offers for everyone. So before investing you have to really do some research first so you don't get caught in the traps made by these scammers.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most trusted stable coin currently (in your opinion)? on: September 15, 2022, 06:05:52 AM
I know this question has been answered many times before.

However, I want the current market outlook.

Frist:Stablecoins are cryptocurrencies the value of which is pagged, or tied, to that of USD.

I made this post to discuss together which stable coin is the best stable coin in your opinion ?

The current biggest stable coins are:

1- Tether: USD

2- USD Coin: USDC

3- Binance USD: BUSD

4- Dai: Dai

5- True USD: TUSD

These are the biggest by marketcap .

After a research I saw that a lot of negative comments are about USDT.
However, USDC and BUSD seems the most trusted .

What do you think?

Thank you.

You are right that currently USDC and BUSD are the best among the options you wrote above, because I also hold these two stablecoins. Using USDC and BSUD as a pair is safer than using USDT which is audit, regulatory and non-transparent in terms of auditing, regulation and storage, stablecoins like Tether (USDT) are arguably higher risk because they are less trustworthy. Although USDT has US dollars, it is held in unreliable offshore banks and USDT is not audited regularly.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC dumps on high inflation report.. on: September 15, 2022, 05:37:36 AM
Important report comes out that inflation is pretty bad (USD)..

Bitcoin dumps off a cliff..

This is the exact opposite of what Bitcoin is supposed to do..

Has Bitcoin strayed too far from its purpose?
Don't panic too much about what happened to BTC, because I think all stocks are falling economically and will surely improve slowly. Just like BTC, which corrects its price until it completely recovers and returns to normal as usual. So keep an eye on the movement of BTC but if you invest long term, sit back and enjoy the flow of the movement, everything will be fine in the future. Wink
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I have bought Bitcoin ? on: September 15, 2022, 05:17:48 AM
In 2015 many people threw away Bitcoin just to buy a few things they needed or something else using Bitcoin, without them realizing the price of Bitcoin from year to year is always growing and continues to grow until now. Therefore, how important it is to store Bitcoin from the past until now because in the development of technology that is increasing, surely one day everyone will hold Bitcoin for investment that is really very useful in the future.
That was because nobody is able to travel ahead of time and tells that this gonna happen. People had thought before that Bitcoin can't have a higher value and did not expect this will gain wide attention and they spend thousands of Bitcoin on Pizza. Just imagine how Bitcoin is able to grow fast and gain attention from whales, businessmen, and big companies. And it was now to say that being an early adopter is not regretable but consider this an opportunity that once been ignored by many individuals.
Yes I get what you mean, maybe it's just people's ignorance of how the future of Bitcoin will develop then. But as time goes by why everyone doesn't think far, and find out about why Bitcoin was created and how Bitcoin develops in the future, that way they won't just throw it away. For whales and business people they have realized that Bitcoin will grow rapidly, therefore they buy Bitcoin for their long term future. That is why it is important to seek information, then everything will be fine.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN IS NOT A STORE OF VALUE on: September 15, 2022, 04:51:11 AM
Is someone trying to trick you into thinking gold is a store of value?
I also think the same as you, maybe he just listened to the video and was influenced by what was said in the video, I think they made the video to make bad news about Bitcoin because he doesn't like the existence of Bitcoin. I do not understand what was in his mind, so he thought too far before Bitcoin was created, I think this is just a classic joke who wants to bring Bitcoin down.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why isnt there a BTC browser wallet like Metamask on: September 15, 2022, 04:25:03 AM
If you are tired of using MetaMask you can also use a Blockchain wallet to store your Bitcoins and it is very safe, because Blockchain is a technology that is used as a digital storage system or cryptographically connected data bank. Its use is inseparable from Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, so your Bitcoins are very safe and can be used wherever you are, because Blockchain also has applications for cell phones.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are people doing except holding Bitcoin? on: September 14, 2022, 10:01:26 AM
I myself invested in bitcoins but suffered huge losses from there. I made a lot of profit earlier and therefore reinvested a few days ago. But this time I faced huge losses. But if the price of bitcoin increases again we can profit again but hopefully the price of bitcoin will definitely increase.
Don't worry about the Bitcoin price drop right now, because bitcoin is in a correction phase right now, so if you really invest in Bitcoin and hold the Bitcoin you have, I'm sure you'll make a profit in the future, but if you panic too much to sell with the current situation I'm sure you will regret later.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Terra Classic recovered? on: September 14, 2022, 09:12:57 AM
Terra Classic in my opinion is very difficult to return to the way it was, because of the big dump that happened at that time and everyone was very disappointed and left, maybe there will be no more pumps that happen to Terra Classic. But it all depends on the developer himself, whether the Terra Classic developer can return it at a certain price or is it dead.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Age of bitcoiners on: September 14, 2022, 08:52:31 AM
Over time, the number of Bitcoins since it was first created until now continues to decrease and time will continue, just as our age continues to grow and as we age means our age decreases. So people I assume are on this forum and who have bought Bitcoin on average 30 - 35 and 35 - 45 because they already understand how Bitcoin will develop in the future.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake Bitcoin. on: September 14, 2022, 08:24:53 AM
Could you give us examples of such fake bitcoins? Are you talking about coins with the word bitcoin, like bitcoin gold? Are you talking about coins that use bitcoin to give themselves legitimacy, like luna?
Stablecoins are also fake in a way because you cannot prove that they have collateral and that they're printing because there's a  real demand for their token. They could be printing with no demand and no collateral and we wouldn't even know it's happening.
Yes, I believe op have mentioned about the coins that have got the term bitcoin along. Everything is based on some form of backing, when it comes to altcoins with the term bitcoin. It is a way to get the attention of people who are new to cryptocurrency. They just fall for it considering the low price, and later understand the reality.
He should have corrected what he wrote in the thread he made so that everyone would not misunderstand the statement he made, because the context of the writing and its meaning are very different. In my opinion, if something like this is only to attract newbies, on the contrary, it will make all newbies who are new to cryptocurrencies very confused between coins and Bitcoin. So basically this thing needs to be fixed to convince them.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can the blockchain be hacked? Ask again. on: September 14, 2022, 07:53:54 AM
Blockchain technology is claimed to be incapable of being hacked because the data stored is not centralized but located in several places. If one is hacked then the other systems are not affected. However, there is one way to hack this technology which is to simultaneously hack most systems in all storage places. But the level of difficulty is also high. For example, there are five data storage systems with different encryption. If hackers can only break into three systems, then all of them will be hacked. So, Blockchain is indeed quite difficult to hack.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New altcoins you can invest on. on: September 13, 2022, 10:23:14 AM
Personally, I don't like investing in new Altcoins because I think investing in new Altcoins is very risky to lose, and I'm also not sure if in the future it has very good potential for the price they charge in the market. So basically I prefer to invest with Altcoins that have been in the market for a long time with good prices and potential such as MATIC and BNB.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum The Merge on Google on: September 13, 2022, 09:37:45 AM
It seems that this was not added by Google but is already there automatically in the Google search engine, because the news of this merger has been circulating in the media and is very much talked about. This merger event greatly affected the market and many people are worried about the assets they own and they are always looking for more information about this news.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations on proof of work might be coming on: September 13, 2022, 09:07:40 AM
Maybe they already know that renewable energy can't last long in mining equipment with drains. if they do something like this, maybe their country will be affected by other countries and will continue to mine using fossil fuels. But I wouldn't be surprised by the rule of law this will cause conflict again to countries where miners are free to mine BTC.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That's why I really like bitcoin :) on: September 13, 2022, 08:58:00 AM
I am interested in Bitcoin because the system makes it very easy for me to make transactions using Bitcoin, not only that I tried to invest in Bitcoin at that time in a few years later Bitcoin changed my life for the better in the future, so at that time I really liked Bitcoin, not only that, I also introduced it to my close friends to find out how Bitcoin works and their response was very curious and then they tried to invest in Bitcoin.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance released its BAB token on: September 12, 2022, 08:42:39 AM
The Binance Account Bound (BAB) token is the identity credential for Binance users who complete KYC verification. Several projects in the BNB Chain will introduce BAB tokens as identity credentials to their communities.

This token will be unique for each user who is required to pay a gas fee of 1 BUSD. Therefore, certified Binancians can only have one BAB token in the BNB Chain. Once minted, BAB tokens will be visible in the owner's on-chain wallet address. This will be the first soul-bound token to be built on the BNB Chain as Binance seeks to improve its security system.
