81  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF Approval; Price dumps, what Next? on: January 12, 2024, 03:31:40 PM
As the title suggests, we have all been waiting for this period for a long time, and it has finally here, yet the price of BTC remains low despite the high spot ETF Bitcoin trading volume. We were led to expect that the price would increase upon SEC approval, but the contrary is now happening.  What now?

Around the Bitcoin ETF, there was a pump-dump scenario due to some dramas. But after it got approved officially bitcoin started to pump. Now dumped a little bit and running sideways.

I think the dump happened due to Vanguard blocked their client from buying Bitcoin.

82  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto scams flourish most during bull runs. on: January 12, 2024, 02:20:30 PM
According to research, crypto scams flourish during bull runs. This may because the increase in price makes it easy to convince people and greed and FOMO are also other factors that make people to be easily deceived.

Yes, you are right. The biggest reason scammers spread themself bigger during the bull run is that people don't care much about their money during the bull run. For example, someone has raised his fund 2-3x with some coins during the bull run and he can see a good investment opportunity, just invest there and start to think he can raise again some X of his investment. This is the chance scammers don't want to miss.

But I make my first post after around 3 months. :)My first impression was like what the shit is this(forum), just text and text. Smiley Took 3 months to make sense of the forum and Dare to make my first post.

OP Congratulations on being active for 3 Consecutive years. Hopefully, the journey will be much bigger.
84  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 CasinoAdrenaline.com ❤️ FS NO DEPOSIT 🎰 CRYPTO CASINO ✅ INSTANT PAYOUTS🍀⚡🎰 on: January 12, 2024, 12:43:11 PM
scam casino anyway, deposit 30eur in crypto, demand of kyc on withdrawal of small (100eur) winnings even though terms say verification not required for crypto players... stay away

I have read your post history. You had also the same case with Justbit. Why it's happening only with you? Maybe something suspicious happened. Or the Security team suspects anything suspicious.

Btw based on their terms it's okay if they request KYC. But did you receive the withdrawal or you did not pass the KYC?

Note: OP the casinoadrenaline representative already left the forum. Last login August 01, 2022. Don't know how much it will be helpful if you expect any.
85  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cashflowinvest.org on: January 12, 2024, 12:17:29 PM
Does it make sense the minimum investment is $50k? Seems they are just targeting one person to fall into it. But I think if someone has 50k USD they have also the basic knowledge about crypto. I don't think a $50k guy will fall into it. Smiley
Not all people with lots of money have basic knowledge about crypto. In fact, they are the biggest victims of internet scam. Take an example of this guy who lost 5.5 BTC because some "beautiful Chinese girl" he meet on tinder lured him to invest his money in some scam site

~snip

Hmm, you are right. Actually, I wanted to mean 50k USD worth of crypto (who use crypto).

I just read the story of losing 5.5 BTC, and seems the guy was very new in the crypto and this is why he created a Binance account for buying crypto. The user also invested in ICO and ICO is very popular we know, many investors invest there. Not like a HYIP.

86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does signing up with affiliate links gives these benefits? on: January 12, 2024, 10:14:09 AM
Many youtubers and friends share their referral codes/affiliate links, saying you will get bonuses, real money, or free spins. but I wonder if casinos give extra help or benefits in some different situations.

For example, when someone wins a big multiplier and multiplies their account by 100x, then some casinos take a long time to process the withdrawal, or they may not even give the money. however, some say that if you sign up using a good affiliate or influencer affiliate code which have huge audience, then you won't face these type issues. also, if you promote the casino using your referral link, they might not hold back your withdrawal because you helped them get new customers.

is this kind of things is considered shady practice, or is it considered fair in the online gambling world?

It does not matter by which referral link you used to register. But the casino does not have the right to not pay you if the win is legit. If they don't pay the legit win then it is nothing but a scam casino.

On the other hand, sometimes casinos take some time to investigate for the big wins. It may take some days for the investigation.

But yeah If you register under any famous streamer/YouTuber you may get some benefits based on their deal. and I assume the casino also feels you are a legit player if you follow any famous streamer(I am not sure though).
87  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DUELBITS FUCKING SCAMMER SON OF A BITCHES on: January 11, 2024, 05:58:13 PM
Op you should follow this format for making Scam accusations. One more suggestion is to avoid CAPITALIZING, it's really annoying to read when you are writing some important stuff.

Code:
[b][color=black]What happened:: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Scammers Profile Link: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Reference Link: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Amount Scammed: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Payment Method: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Proof of Payment: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]PM/Chat Logs: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Additional Notes: [/color][/b]

As previously said, is your KYC already confirmed? If so then you should wait a little bit. I think you are too fast to make such a report. On the other hand, if you just make a deposit and try to withdraw without any hand of games casino suspects something wrong it's normal due to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies.
88  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 11, 2024, 05:11:26 PM
No, I don't think gambling every day without any break is good. Even I think most of the users will agree with me.

You have to keep in mind that in the end always casino will win. So the more you play there is a big chance to lose more. But yeah it's a wise idea if there is a big win come, just take a break change the game and start after few days with fresh mind.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is the money manager? is it a casino or game provider? on: January 11, 2024, 04:18:01 PM
Most of the games in online casinos come from third parties or game providers such as Pragmatic Play, Bgaming, Pgsoft, Play'N Go, etc. When playing at any casino, we will use their services. Perhaps only the house edge games are fully owned and powered by the casino

So who actually manages finances? is it the casino itself or the game provider? Does the casino only get a commission from the game provider or buy the game license from the game provider?

The only Casino itself is the finance manager. Providers just give their service through API and earn a percentage of Monthly / Yearly revenue from their games. However, the percentage depends on the provider itself.

And yes Casino has full control of the official/house games on the other hand casino does not have any control over the third-party games as I know.

OP it's nothing but a scam. Just ignore these types of Ponzi Scheme investment site.
91  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Bitpr0.com | The Ultimate Crypto Casino List on: January 11, 2024, 03:06:24 PM
There could be one difference between those wording. Maybe virtual casinos are those casinos where the live casino games from 3rd party providers aren't available.

yeah, what I also thought. If this is the case then Bjfun and bets.io should not be under the virtual casino category as you also said.

Hopefully, OP will review all of them and update the leaderboard.
92  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Bitpr0.com | The Ultimate Crypto Casino List on: January 11, 2024, 09:43:17 AM
Updated the dashboard
https://bitpr0.com/gambling

Nice to see you are updating the dashboard regularly.

Btw what is the difference between Live casino and Virtual Casino? I can see Blackjack.fun and Bets.io under the Virtual category. How they are different from others?

and it seems the bets.io link is not correct. It redirects to https://betsaffiliates.io/    .........  and I am getting Error 1014, should be fixed.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any citizens of Turkey here? on: January 11, 2024, 07:21:47 AM
So this is not the actual pepe coin. Don't know how real it is.

Btw maybe some guys can pm you for help. Don't make any deals with newbies who can easily scam you. Even some strange guy can pm you for help without any bonus or something.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble on Bitcoin ETF approval results? on: January 10, 2024, 09:30:13 PM
Dramas overload Smiley

First SEC published a news on twitter that ETF is accepted. Later they make another tweet that the Twitter account was compromised even Twitter also confirmed this that the SEC twitter account was compromised. Lol

Later around 30 minutes ago SEC uploaded a PDF regarding ETF approval. And then another drama, The pdf is deleted from the website.

But yeah it seems ETF is Finally accepted.

Did someone make any bet on ETF approval result?
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: January 10, 2024, 06:28:13 PM
Gambling with borrowed funds is looking like you are risking yourself twice. We can also say seems like you are Double Downing with a 16 soft hand. Smiley Where you have a very low chance to win and if you lose it will be double.

Of course, gambling with borrowed funds increases the pressure and this also can force you to make some risky decisions because you must need to win to pay the loan.
96  Economy / Gambling / Re: From $17 to $37000!!! Craziest Crypto Win in 2023!!!! on: January 10, 2024, 06:06:27 PM
Why not just update on your thread.

I am not against creating a specific thread for these winnings but yeah if it's ongoing every day we should be ready to see more than a couple of threads like this. Because a few days ago Sportsbetio posted about $42m win/payout history, today trust dice, maybe tomorrow xxx, and so on. Because we know such wins/multipliers are happening every day on different platforms.

Btw the guy is really lucky and these unexpected wins will him a lot in real life.
97  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you have a hard time bringing new people to the forum? on: January 10, 2024, 05:47:41 PM

I don't know if any of you faced this challenge, if yes, how were you able to proceed?

During the beginning of my bitcointalk Journey, I shared/tried to introduce the forum with some friends. Yes, it was tough also for me to teach them how bitcointalk works. Learned from there and I never try to introduce someone after 2018. And even I never thought I needed to invite someone here tbh. Because it just creates some problems for me instead of some benefits.
98  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is Stake playing fair? What about others? Where is the line of trust here? on: January 09, 2024, 03:40:30 PM
Lol, but my question is if they really cheat then why it is in a live game? Where all the players can see what's going on. And also here reputation costs much more than any of the funds on the table for sure.

I am still thinking it could be a mistake by the dealer. But if it raise more in the future then yeah ofcource something wrong is happening.

99  Economy / Gambling / Re: UNREAL!! Sportsbet.io pays out a $42,000,000 USDT Casino WIN!! on: January 06, 2024, 06:16:59 PM
But anyway, may be @sujonali1819 is right and may the site had the option to export the video of the game history.

Hmm, I am not sure if a Platform can export it from system, maybe they can also collect it from the provider. But yeah player can export it from slot's game history.

Actually once this type of wins happen, platform also can ask about the Video clip from the player for promotions.
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one did you use to gamble with more on: January 06, 2024, 03:30:43 PM
I am not a gambler but I prefer to bet on some teams that I support as a supporter. For example Argentina for Football. And since I am not a professional gambler I prefer to make a bet before starting the game for actually doing some fun.

But for professional gamblers, I think it's better to bet after starting the game and based on the situation.

No, no, you are doing it right, mate. There are some drawbacks of betting on live games. Like when it's easy to predict the win of a team then bets are either not accepted or the multiplier you get is around 1.01. Like, how much you have to bet in order to win something decent? $2,000 to win around $20? It's not funny, it's stressful, right?

Hmm, that's right. And if luckily a miracle happens you could lose the 2k to win just a 1.01 odds. But if you place the bet before starting the game and place the bet on the right place (the biggest team) you may get at least more than 1.50x odds. Smiley
