My Blockchain bitcoin wallet changes its address every transaction I guess for security purposes, didn't even realize, since I got my first few payments no problem. I updated my wallet address here in the settings after I realized this, but we had already matured both blocks. Are my payments somehow gone? Or have they not been sent out yet? Sorry for the noob question.

They never leave, it just cycles new ones but the money is tied to your account not the specific address.

No.  As I said before it's 101 for newly mined coins.  It's 6 confirmations when transferring already matured coins.

As he said. New blocks must reach 101 confirmations before being paid. Not just at Kano, but everywhere.

Well, that makes sense. I wasn't sure you saw the part about not kano blocks. Everything I read said 6 confirmations. But they also talked about a vulnerability at 0 confirmations and a 51% vulnerability for under 6 confirmations and I wasn't sure those were valid vulnerabilities anymore.

hi,

can anyone confirm weather the payments for the last 2 blocks have already been sent or weather they are still pending? the website shows them as sent, but i cannot find them, for some reason...

thanks!

The pool has to find another block which will include the payment transaction.

But we found 2 so shouldn't the first one be sent to our wallets already and then the second one we found be sent at the next block we find?
Also can someone tell me how many confirmations a blocked needs to be completely confirmed in the blockchain, not the kano pool but the actual bitcoin system?

And for those working through the 5nd you can always go to the website and go to rewards and see what you will get on the last block. Then you can copy that BTC amount, go into Coinbase or on the internet and go to where it says Buy/Sell paste the amount of BTC you copied from your Rewards page into the BTC column and it will tell you how much that BTC is worth at current market value. That is about how much you will get once the block has been verified, or close to it unless BTC price changes a lot. It gives you an idea anyway.

There are probably easier ways, it's what I do.

I copy the reward digits and then Google:  X.xxxxxxx btc in usd

Google has a quick calculator that provides a conversion right in the search results.  Bingo!

Keep the blocks coming, peeps
Yup, that is the Google option. I just happen to have Coinbase up a lot so I paste it there.

hi everybody, i'm new in kano pool, i found everybody is nice.
i just want to know how much a day i can earne whit you
i have  antminer s9 14TH
can you help me please.

It's been asked a billion times in this forum, even within the last couple of pages.....

The pool has a ramp up and down process and there is a page that helps tell you what you will get once you ramp up.

That being said, I did the search for you.

a block has been found, i can see in Status +5 confirm, what cause the status to rise? and how long will that be?
+5 = how many network blocks found after it (plus one)

hi kano, is finding network block random?

Yes

Reboot, reboot, reboot!

hehe, oh man can't get over that.

Anyway, let's get some blocks Lady Luck. It's time to pull the wool over Variances head!

what would a reboot do? Would it not, theoretically, reset the circumstance of probability and therefore, in the long run, actually increase the time to the next block?

It's a running joke that every time Kano reboots some of his nodes we usually get a block shortly afterward.

It doesn't impact the times at all.

When adding another s9 or miner. How do i need to set the worker name?
Do i put it exactlly the same as the old one? Im addig not replacing.

username.workername

ex: arichards.WH1
     arichards.WH2

Thanks!

Im using
Myname.worker
Myname.worker1

That ok?
Under workers page i have both machines now.

I use worker.sr1 worker2.sr1 worker3.sr1 Much easier to follow.

luckyant at 14PH?

At 14PH I'd solo mine Smiley
Well the 2 big players were saying variance at 80+PHs was too high Tongue

Currently 14PHs is 5.65 days per block ... but a 400% would be well over 3 weeks without pay at 14PHs

Yeah, I wouldn't solo mine. I don't have the patience for it. Maybe if I had 100PH I would, but until then I am sure I would mine here. I feel it's the best pool setup with the best transparency and operator interaction.

That doesn't mean I wouldn't like a block!

So, I sold the measly .505 BTC at 13.5k AND THEN IT WENT UP OVER 2000 more bucks!

Oh well, I had to pay off a credit card so I am happyish. lol.

Setting up a new address on my Ledger nano S. Should I setup a segwit address or legacy?

Kano seems pretty popular here, may as well add my 27T/H to it.

Can I add L3+'s though?

Thanks

No.

Don't you know that L3+ is not a Bitcoin miner, but a Scrypt-algorithm cryptocurrency (like Litecoin for example) ASIC miner ?  Wink

It is important to know what you are doing when you are in the mining business.

Though LLitecoin is over 100 so mine on!
