I have followed the coin a bit and researched a bit and to the best of my knowledge the devs are honest folk who will develop the coin properly if given the chance. If a few more people who have much bigger stakes in this coin help restore the original account, I'll donate more as other coins do well. The original problems with the premine, and other issues Maza had were largely the result of sloppiness I believe, not any maliciousness. Aside from a lot of poverty there is politics in that region people have to deal with, along with some pretty aggressive online attacks against the original devs, as some might remember. The premine itself is not a big deal, it's actually a pretty small percentage of total coins, but symbolically it would be good to fix problems in this coin as they arise, rather than compensating for problems by invading other nations, as the oligarchs of another currency used in this region are prone to. very generous donations Peter, I ma sure team will be grateful reading owlhooters post Peter, I think this is best donation address to send to: MS5LqNWzrRo6DXzjXcafrCpWJL2NUXGRv5 i will send some too in due course, to the address above as they have personally built up the amount, the mzc dev core team. the other address you mention I am not sure who controls or if they now have access or passwords, or is the burnt address mentioned as keys lost. so possibly you sent 400k to an address can't be accessed, the one I mentioned owlhooter stated was definitely under their control and they are personally adding to. which is great as only makes sense to use some for dev purposes when mzc is at a reasonable level from what i understand this is the key address , maybe owlhooter could clarify or another member of core dev team that this is the only address they control and send to

tell a lie, will take a couple days more at this rate to fully index close to 10 million blocks, we have done under 250k getting there
deepest blockchain in crypto universe to sync here
"deepest blockchain in crypto universe to sync here" = good or bad? (I guess the first). I guess also that as they migrated to new servers, they have huge backlogs between all their host coins, because previous time (with the old server) it took a while to roll first 2-3 mils blocks. not good or bad...... priceless.

FSTers**** WE HAVE the blockchain indexing! Just started. wowowow. No forks, no problems. Money supplies counter also working. Check: https://www.blockexperts.com/fstThank you fastcoin-ok for the update, Yes this is all very good news, and we encourage all community members to check the NEW FastCoin Block Explorer. Please also note, that the FastCoin CORE Dev team is very interested with the activity that is going in this forum including the recent troubleshooting debate going on with respects to max transaction sizes etc. We understand and appreciate the following members almightyruler, Stouse49, vampirus and forgive me if I forget to mention others, are senior Bitcointalk forum members and we appreciate and respect their inputs and findings. Rest assured, this issue will have the appropriate amount of attention given to it by the FastCoin CORE team as they continue to remain focused on higher priority items at the moment. Please also note, that this is an open source initiative and we encourage any community member who feels they may contribute a meaningful solution to this problem to please feel free to do so. Please remember that the FastCoin CORE Dev team although we feel are exceptional, are people too, and can only focus on a given task at any given moment. I am also sure that I sound like a broken record by now, however it would be much better to follow the troubleshooting sequence of this thread at www.fastcointalk.org as we can create subheadings more appropriate to the context of the issue at hand. Much thanks to everyone again as we look forward to more exciting news ahead ;-) Best Regards Fast Thanks for your work, I look forward to the news. There still seems to be a problem with the block explorer, could you confirm? The Rich List is showing the largest wallet at 143k FST (only about 0.1% of supply). No way can that be accurate when ppl are placing sell orders in the hundreds of thousands on livecoin either. Livecoin would definitely have wallets much larger than 0.1% of supply. it's still indexing, if you refresh every minute you will see diff amount in richlist and current block height money supply showing just over 2 million, when is currently prob around 120 million seems to be moving quite quick so in a matter of hours would think will be up to speed or by tomorrow latest

Stock exchange response - Support (chief): Ваша транзакция на данный момент не имеет подтверждений. Т.к. и блокэксплорер не грузится, вероятна проблема сети. Вам стоит обратиться к разработчикам монеты. Вот данные ноды (Your transaction at the moment has no confirmation. Because And blockexplorer is not loaded, the network problem is likely. You should contact the coin developers.
Here are the nodes)
"amount" : 134781.93297886, "confirmations" : 0, "txid" : "7bc9e159868a057cb5cd3cdfddcf78bf76aeb4b41450d24c9db8831c076bac51", "normtxid" : "855b4495937bf08c0000cf987696663f7d62f31e6d40355651de5916684be28c",
I can now see that transaction in my client's local mempool. It's a biiiig one (~170k) as I suspected. I'll see if I can make some changes to incorporate larger transactions, and mine some blocks. No guarantees it will work. (I guess the question to ask now is - why does the Fastcoin client with default settings create transactions this large, so large that they will be ignored by a miner with default settings...) I want to clarify what I have to do in my situation? I've spent about 12 hours mining FST to try to push this transaction (or any stuck tx) through. I think there are two fundamental issues. 1) The client spends around 5 seconds building the block framework (incorporating mempool transactions) before any mining work can be started for that block. This is fine when your coin has 60 or 600 seconds block spacing, not so great when it's every 12 seconds. That's 5 of every 12 seconds (41%) wasted waiting for the client to create the block. 2) It's possible that the network won't accept the larger blocks. The couple of blocks that I did successfully mine (nb I should have found 100+ in that time) were orphaned not long after my solution was found. At this point the fastcoin dev(s) don't seem to be interested in further technical discussion of the issue, at least in this thread. I've spent some time on this, but I don't get anything out of it (I have no stake in FST; I'm just a guy wandering threads). I would have liked it if my attempts had worked, but unfortunately it seems like it's going to be very difficult, or maybe even impossible, to confirm your transaction. I don't think I can assist any further. Sorry. your efforts and input are always greatly appreciated and interesting in my book considering how small, tiny the transaction fee is compared to the value of fst it's incredible for all these years there have bene no probs (in my book), miners are so important I guess like btc in the very early days it was dedicated, miners, hobbyists, and again you could at least mine directly from qt wallet I think in early days what will help is when the value goes up to reasonable value which will happen relatively soon imo I mean multiple cents to 2 digit cents a lot of coins never went through the early lows and hard work and had overinflated values like ltc, i remember when went on btce , people were buying on forum if people would accept paypal and not be scammed , then was around 30-40 cents for short time then straight to $1 and never came down lee working for coinbase etc so we have done hard way but have a very solid coin, with all the right fundementals problem is when you have general public essentially buying dogshit like ripple, and not understanding what theyre buying bittrex would be good i guess but have seen them delist coins with 40+ btc a day and more, like xst, so they can't be trusted, they are just interested in the next token polo has major red flags and many traders talking of lost coins, stolen funds etc tbh we need to have more volume but the steady price and gains, past few days when other coins are dying shows people don't want to sell we are in an accumalation faze, i feel like whales are buying up so sell at your peril end of day i like cryptopia and livecoin and we have FST/USD with livecoin and should promote more our target audience has to be new investors, traders and merchants, again via usd route, then they don't get sidetracked with having to buy btc first and other coins

thanks
I prefer first but up to community early days
await more submissions from people or comments on which one best
hard to believe marketcap is sub 500k still tiny microcap

I personally like best the image I added and we are currently using at cryptopia, but we can always change if community vote or provide something else, and we await what dev thinks tbh I think general public still getting head around crypto and helps imo to look like a coin I don't think they will ever 'get' ethereum for example and what it is and how to use It's why privacy coins like zero are all things to all men imo or a coin that is simple and easy to use like Fastcoin that is amazingly quick, it needs to be a crypto, blockchain options and have a specialist function plus be opensource, community coin, fair release, no premine etc again why I like both these coins, grassroots coins I like to think of them anyway here is something completely different was working on, before, may give someone else some ideas, and others who can knock up some designs

I've never had a problem with FST transactions arriving, that's over years and I have sent far bigger amounts before than one mentioned
BTC had THOUSANDS of undelivered transactions in mempool
every coin you visit the thread it's a daily thing for different reasons, this is very rare for fst once blockexplorer fully synced we will have clearer picture
also the fat people here are trying to help one guy with this problem shows how helpful FST community is and how rare it is
good luck if you had this in ltc or btc you'd be paying a mining service and trying to figure it out asking questions on bitcoin.stackexchange.com

Simple website and bittrex and this coin will fly...
That is what I say already some days. Even a simple website. Bittrex will be great for ZERO. at the minute this thread and git is all thats needed , linux and mining people are in this thread newcomers and traders want a windows wallet and pointless doing a website imo without this once dev posts here and acknowledges and delivers I will deliver in time, once dev does a full working windows wallet, fully tested I will develop a website, doesn't seem much point at minute I have procured a good domain we can then do social media etc

I like the Logo but, I can't help but associate it mentally with "not another Zcash fork". I propose a "slashed zero" character. I could be wrong in thinking it's unique or free from copyright. Sort of like this ø But a 0 instead of an o. or maybe even use ø. This may cause problems though with coding, though I'm talking theoretically, it should be fine.
dev said in ANN thread Names and symbols: Currency name: ZERO not ZERO cash, not ZERO coin, just ZERO or ZERO currency or ZERO cryptocurrency Currency unit: ZER Currency symbol: Ƶ Unicode: U+01B5
so wanted to respect his wishes but also he actually went to trouble of using unicode so had to be based loosely on that the 0 symbol with line through would denote a value of 0 ie zero so wanted to avoid that idea plus one of first posters on thread said sarcastically 0 sats worth this is what dev is currently using and submitted hopefully our new one is a lot better https://github.com/zerocurrency/zero/commit/61ff404f8f6150360cbfd14325431a62046f3c62not criticizing dev as he cant be great at everything! and he's a very good coder which is what we need I wouldn't be able to help build a brand and site around that with that colour scheme, we would stay low marketcap coin forever, however good the coding we are a fork of zcash so a loosely associated logo is helpful and imo is a very nice one also denoting value, memorable and strong on branding there is a twitter account that attacks zcash all time and they used the zcash logo and zooko was saying quite reasonably that's ok but don't use logo as copyrighted etc, even though they are technically decentralised and opensource but our logo is totally different and z with line other way and different colour, white, different gold style and no thick black outer ring will be eyecatching and memorable plus I will work on the text logo for ZERO have some ideas hopefully people will like I have submitted logo to cryptopia as is hurting zero not even having logo for gui wallet, block explorer site, future website, git and exchange people think maybe abandoned coin or with no dev not having logo on exchange cryptopia were great and I pointed them to thread and post and said they will add I will listen to feedback on text logo as maybe not everyone loves or want changes so will do in next few days to a week when have time as a site cant be built without plus will help people when posting on social media doing memes, ads etc, when promoting

livecoin better exchange see my sig
they auto add a usd market too which is really useful for when new people buying in say that see stealth on facebook its a ballache for them to have to buy btc and go through all that

bittrex don't change their minds sadly it will be delisted
have seen many coins I owned delisted and they kept the coins if not withdrawn in time
I don't like what bittrex is becoming, just listing the next worthless token after another
it's going to cost too to get on another exchnage, like cryptopia or whatever, couple btc

quite impressed with dev coin has most of work needed, like how is improved version of zcash without all the jpmorgan crap and without premine seems we have a lot of miners which is good, but community needs to come together and help with social media, marketing, designs etc I have done a logo, as ZERO needs a personality I like to think of ZERO as like zero degrees, , cold, stealth, under the radar private transactions a proper non-premine community coin away from all this centralised ripple shit and ico crap we're seeing old school with the best tech hope you like it will work on the text logo for ZERO too if you all like, the dev can replace icon at github, as original temporary one was pretty nasty our logo also takes some inspiration from zcash logo but different as it is a relation to zcash, albeit a better relation also the white to reflect the cold element and away from zcash the gold to represent value in time, once dev does a full working windows wallet, fully tested I will develop a website, doesn't seem much point at minute I have procured a good domain we can then do social media etc please contribute help in any way your skillsets allow again if everyone happy with it, we can finally inform cryptopia we have an icon they can use!

https://www.blockexperts.com/fstis very slow loading, anyone else? also how come they haven't got full blockchain up to speed? in past had read they provided very good service, the info when done is very good , richlist, explorer, api etc, but they need a little kick up backside imo was thinking, we should use free advertising a bit more the regular posters and members of dev team should use a fastcoin avatar on bitcointalk imo, it's free notice fastcoin foundation use an ancient version of fastcoin logo with cheetah and fst , would look good to have uniform icon and for new members who don't have an avatar yet? easy to add in your profile plus would be good idea to use fastcoin icon without white background as notice main fastcoin dev has that, looks bit tacky just imo more to post, been so busy lately, will be posting lot more, have some ideas working on cheers

New update:
There is another update coming this week, with the focus being on the updated api and orderbook. There will be active trading tests via “bots” on testnet. The update will be tomorrow and the goal is to have the bots working by the weekend.
Internal testing on the service nodes will also begin by the end of the week (this is an alpha release only).
thanks for update future looks rosy I trust exchanges less and less polo banned trollbox, go by trollboxes on btce etc , there are literally dozens of people daily ruining polo, how funds got stolen, no support matter of time before it is the next cryptsy livecoin is a good exchnage but there are zero details on there. nothing, complete strangers, could do a bunk any day gox etc I lost some funds on couple smaller exchanges safecex lol and allcoin when blocknet is fully up and running soon , people are going to wonder how they managed without exchanges will still last, centralised as many dont want fixed price trades they want the pumping and dumping blocknet will also be perfect for whales and new money wanting big trades at fixed prices and secure escrow sales I see blocknet $60-80 range inside next 4-6 months
