I think its quite hard to check a project still follow their roadmap or not. Most of project show investors a wonderful roadmap, but after ICO they did not teach investors how to keep track the project. I think the only way to do this is trying to find many source of news, test their products release, active in their community channel, follow dev on their social network to see what they are doing.
looking for updated information is really needed when we invest, without finding out information we can lose funds and also the latest news about the project invested. because not all projects have an active team in providing information, and sometimes the information provided is also buried when in their media community. |

Many of the last projects were either scams or were projects that didn’t have a chance to succeed for various reasons.
This is another big issue. Even if the project you have invested into is not a scam it is one that dies because of least support and useless whitepaper which is unable to attract real investors. As you said, everyone is supposed to do deep research on projects before involving with them and if you are lazy enough for that, simply go for the projects that are already popular and trusted by people. we have to really know the project being invested because if we can't find out then we can get stuck on a scam project and possibly also projects that don't have potential in the future. knowledge must be possessed when investing and other things must be supplemented |

I don't understand what is your basis of hating the altcoin. There are factors why people don't want some altcoins versus Bitcoin. Some Altcoins are called shit coins because they were created just for the project. After the launch of that altcoin, it will not have value in the future.
Simple logic works here, if the project becomes a mainstream, everyone will feel bad why they didn't see this ICO/IEO. The well-known exchanges don't disclose the possible projects for the Binance Launchpad, AFAIK.
