81  Bitcoin / Mining support / rejected shares TOTAL on: May 26, 2017, 09:47:45 AM
Hi everyone,

as i am new in mining I would like to ask you something easy i believe.

I have an S9 Antminer and is online 13 days now non stop.

In the first 11-12 days i saw only 70 rejected shares in the "miner status"" tab. and in the F2Pool website it was saying "rejected % " 0,1%.

It been 1 or 2 days the F2pool website says 0,7% and the miner status went to 123 rejected shares.

Are these values normal?? and why in only 1-2 days it was almost doubled the figure??

Do i need to do something?

Bare in mind the total mined shares at that moment is 51.000

Thank you in advance.
82  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9 lowest rpm & temps on: May 19, 2017, 08:34:29 AM
Hello again,

Its been 2 weeks now since I have been monitoring 24/7 my S9 antminer 12.5TH/S working and noted down the figures.

I use the bitmain`s latest APW3+-12-1600W PSU

They are both brand new. No bad chip issues.

I have placed my miner in a server rack cabinet 2 meters tall.

I have open the rack`s side(left-right) doors and it is in a controlled temperature small room around 4sq meters.

The room temperature varies from 19 Celsius to 21 with the help of an inverter wall air condition.

The humidity varies from 34% to 40%.

There are no windows in order to let fresh air in. only a closed entry door.

The 3 hashboards have all day the bellow temperatures:

BOARD1 81-83
BOARD2 75-77
BOARD3 73-75

The fans  rpm are:

FRONT fan from 2160min to 2520max(note that the front fan sucks really cold air from the air condition as they are 1-1,5 meter face to each other)
BACK fan from 2880min to 3120max(it exposes relatively medium warm air. I have monitored really warmer air figures with the back fan at 4320 rpm when I  used different positioning/setups of the equipment)

The watt consumption is steady 1313Watt / hour

and the 24hour hashrate(from the miner status page) is 12,644GH/S(avg).

I would like to ask from your experience if these figures are OK for my mine`s long life or if I am doing something REALLY wrong.

Bare in mind that I don`t want to "overclock-underclock" or change settings of the miner. I want to let work in AUTO with its own settings(I think my miner has by default auto settings for FANS, Frequencies etc as i saw in it`s menu).

Is there a way to decrease the watt consumption lets say 100watts/hour and still have the same average hashrate???

Sorry for the long post and for my English as they are not my native language but I will really need some feedback on this.

Thank you in advance miners

Hi everyone,

can plz tell me whats the lowest rpms and temperatures you have ever seen in your S9 antminer?

I am trying different conditions at the moment and monitoring rpms and temps in order to find an optimum scenario.

I believe this will may have an affect in my miner`s long life.

Thanks for your time

Thnks for the fast reply my friend.
Thats the reason i love forums.
Only the one s7 is doing this problem. The other works at 1,5th/s as it has 2 dead hashboards(i know  that as i get ----------- on the status and when i opened the miner to saw a few burned components on these 2 blades!!!.

I did not make any testing with the 3 connections of the controler as i
Did not know that i can "touch" them.
Screenshots i cant  post. I know it would help for a solution but i have disconnect the miner and at the moment i am away from the place where the miners are.
I ordered a brand new bitmain psu because i thought maybe that was the problem and i am waiting for it.
Dont know Sad
85  Bitcoin / Mining support / Antminer s7 hasboard issue on: April 14, 2017, 10:54:17 PM
Hi everyone,,

I have 2 antminer s7 with bitmain's 1600wAtt psu.

1 antminer with one psu.

The one miner reaches total hashrate 2-2,1Th/s.
in order to chech it out i powered up each hashboard alone(only the 3 pci-e connectors at the time) and they all reached up the maximum 1,5Th/s.
But as i told when connecting them all together the maximum hashrate is 2th/s.
I tried using other psu and still the same result.

Does anyone have a clue whats going wrong or what i maybe doing wrong?

Please help as i just started mining for pleasure and curiosity but i am a bit troubled at the moment.

Thank you in advance
